Ramada by Wyndham Alpena Hotel & Conference Center

The gentleman at the desk was very nice and helpful. I made the mistake of ordering a room that was meant for people with mobility issues and they were able to switch me to a normal room with no issues. Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and super well stocked with towels and dove shampoo, conditioner, and soap. I haven't tried the breakfast or any other amenities yet, so I can't speak for that, but the customer service and room were both amazing. I would definitely stay here again or recommend anyone coming to alpena to stay here.

Everything was fine, rooms, quick registration, pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast was good with a nice selection, overall enjoyable stay, but I was disappointed that they didn't offer a Military Discount for Retire Military and the wifi left alot to be desired?

Pleasantly surprised. Clean rooms, convenient restaurant attached, and the layout of the building felt nice. The pool room was huge and there were arcade games in the pool area as well as in the arcade room next to the bar. Breakfast was also good. Would return here if I stayed in the area again.

We were up for a baseball tournament, little league. This place was absolutely great. The kids had a blast, we adults had a blast. Ya the place is a little dated, but it's clean, it friendly staff, helpful staff, the town is beautiful with lots to do. We will definitely revisit. Keep doing what your doing Ramada in Alpena. Your doing it well.

Room was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible to pool area. Use the mini golf it is fun. Restaurant on site for those who wish to stay in.

Recently went on another great Michigan adventure into the Northeastern lower area, around Alpena and Roger City. We decided to hotel over camp since there was possibility of rain. They were great!! Our room was large and clean. The bedding was fresh and there was a fridge, coffee maker and microwave available in room. The hotel was not busy since it was off season and a weekday, which I was well okay with during the pandemic. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool and playing games in the arcade as a nice change of pace to out normal (camping) trips. The food was great and say more than we expected. The front desk worker was polite as we're the restaurant worker, bartender and house keeping. While there we tried to take advantage of all of there accommodations and left happy and well rested.

Absolutely really enjoyed this hotel! From the game room to the indoor pool to the breakfast, all was fantastic.

We had a great time! the bounce house is a great addition for the kids there is so much to do to keep kids busy! I did have a situation ..I bought a room on line and it was supposed to be pool side but it wasn't actually available at the hotel..I spoke with the manager on how we would fix the situation she definitely made it up to me and we were still available to celebrate our party and everyone had a great time!I was able to use the banquet room and get a pool side room close buy it worked out amazing and I will definitely do it that way again!!🙂all the staff was so friendly and definitely work there butts off to provide everything they have! People need to not be so negative all the time and appreciate the positives!! We will be back and I appreciate the way the situation was handled.🙂yes I wasn't happy at first but instead of freaking out being an adult helps resolve situations!!☺

We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel staff was really nice and very helpful. The price was really good also. Downside was that when we can hear for the continental breakfast they do not have much to choose from. I don't know that's because they were all out or that's because that's all they had. How are I'm not complaining because it was a very nice establishment and for the price I have no complaints. 👍😎

They offer breakfast, you can get pool side rooms huge pool area, on the outside of the pool open area with put put golf, video games bounce house on Saturday table and chairs video game room hot tub. Kid friendly

My family and I stayed here for a little over a month due to a house fire . Everyone is very accommodating. Teresa is great at housekeeping and very attentive when needed. Shelly is the breakfast cook and went above and beyond for my children and my family. it's clean and pet friendly I'm grateful for all the staff of Ramada of Alpena Michigan.

The hotel was clean, friendly, great breakfast, it had a pool and fitness area and game room. The best part was the assistant manager Trista who was very helpful to me. I had booked an extra night with hotels.com and was trying to cancel it and she went out of her way to try to help me in contact them. I would recommend staying here and I would come here again for sure

Our room was super clean, had a microwave and fridge and lots of TV channels! The pool room is freakin wild and a party basically till it closes at 11. Personally I love that but if its not your thing probably find another place. The staff was super nice and helpful. The only thing I will say is the breakfast was pretty scary lol. I don't blame the staff or anything and maybe it was a one time thing but the scrambled eggs were runny and not cooked and when I went to get a pancake it fell in half and was all raw batter inside. 😬 the hotel was hella booked up and there tons of kids in so they were probably overwhelmed trying to cook for everyone. But ya just remember to always check ur breakfast at places u never know lol! But ya this place ruled and was so fun! Ill definitely be coming back!

We stayed here a couple years ago and loved it. It only got better!!! From the time we entered the room to the time our heads hit the soft pillow it was perfect. And we had a wonderful breakfast of eggs, french toast, sausage, etc, compliments of the hotel.

We were disappointed in the location of promised room but it wasn't terrible. A lot of fun things to do for the kids. The common area got real busy over the weekend with a lot of parties.

I really enjoyed my two day stay at this hotel. For the price, I don't think you're going to be able to find a better deal anywhere. The rooms were clean and room service cleaned up well after my first night. Also, the food at the bar is very good. They have a small arcade, mini putting greens, a ping pong table, foosball and pool table. They also have a good size pool, hot tub and sauna.

First off I want to say that the staff here is EXTREMELY friendly. My husband, son, and I were here for a week (my husband was stationed here for a week), and I couldn't of been happier. The gentleman serving breakfast were EXTREMELY kind and generous. One of them (Aaron) went above and beyond. One of things he did was recommend a restaurant (Mangos). We went there and the food there was AMAZING (so was the mango margarita that Aaron suggested I try). I'm soo happy that we were at this hotel. I definitely want to go back to this hotel if we are ever in the Alpena area again. Another woman that was very kind was an older woman who will be retiring in January. She made sure to let myself and my husband know how well our son's manners are. I wish I would've gotten her name too. Honestly didn't want to go back home to Ohio. Lol. The staff was fantastic! Honestly felt like we were home. The pool was always clean and so was the hot tub. Our room was clean and roomy for the 3 of us as well. Was nice that my son and I had the pool and hot tub mostly to ourselves. Didn't have any issue with anyone being loud or obnoxious. Doors were secured at all times (we stayed on the first floor). Breakfast was delicious and HOT as well. Was a very pleasant stay.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The bar/restaurant in the hotel is pretty good and I think they have a DJ in there a few times a week on the dance floor. The pool area is nice and they also have an arcade and a few putt putt holes. They also have ping pong tables by the pool and there is a pool table in the bar. And there are a few banquet hall rooms for special events, but I'm not sure how much they charge.

Clean, well priced, nice staff. Minifridge in the room along with a decent king bed, a couch and a desk.

Breakfast was great. Lots of hot food options and most importantly, decent coffee.

There is an indoor pool. The downside being that the whole place smells a little of chlorine, but I didnt mind. Smells clean.
