Minnie's Restaurant

Had the fish and chips. Cod was a perfect golden brown, tender and flakey inside. Fries were crisp on the outside and tender inside. Cole slaw fresh and crispy. Iced tea was also delicious, not watered down like so many restaurants. Service was excellent. All that in a cool historic building with a friendly atmosphere.

What a real treat likely the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Fluffy large pancakes with butter and syrup in a bottle not a thimble sized cup. The side of sausage was a nice addition. My wife's cornbeef hash with eggs and raisin toast was equally delicious. The prices were very very competitive with any restaurants I have encountered eaten in for quite a while. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

This is right smack in the middle of downtown Allegsn Michigan you guys. It's a down to earth hometown classic restaurant. They have some of the best food in town. I highly recommend eating here.

Everything you would ever want from a local restaurant. Always delicious and always excellent service! Can get breakfast or lunch at any time of day and being a 3rd shifter that is perfect for me!

The fastest service in town....I order and my breakfast is out in a flash. Also grateful for the Gluten Free toast option.

Good food at affordable prices. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is decent, and the restaurant is always clean. The peanut butter pie is delicious!

I was in town for a craft show at the Alpaca Fest at the Fair Grounds. Found this place on Google and went mostly because they were open. I'm glad I did. The food and service were great. Even early in the morning the dining area was mostly full with regulars. I'm sure I will go again if I'm ever in the area.

Our East program brought our kids down there for breakfast and we had a fantastic time. Kara Jones was so accommodating to our students and went with the flow of our chaos when we first got there. The food was delicious, thanks Ed, and the service was quick even with our crowd of over 20 people. Thank you for making this experience a great one for our students!!! Hillside can't thank you enough!!!!

First time at Minnie's. I loved the interior. Old building, but true to the integrity of the building. Very clean. We had 9 people in our group for breakfast. Service was fast, food was excellent and lower prices than any place I've been recently. Can't wait to go back for lunch!

Really really *really* great breakfast. Also prices from the 90s, I swear. I got a traditional breakfast, pretty large portion, plus a mini pancake instead of toast, and it only cost me 6.88 after tax. It was very delicious, great diner breakfast. I highly recommend checking them out! I’ll definitely be back.

Great diner style food, a must visit when in Allegan

Come here for a cheap, quick, DELICIOUS meal! Everyone is so nice, it's cozy, and the food is EXQUISITE! I'll definitely be coming back here a few times :)
