Four Roses Cafe

We were celebrating our anniversary on a Friday evening, and it was packed. We made reservations, as we have been wanting to come here for quite some time. We ordered the cranberry pecan brie with toast as an appetizer, which was delicious! For dinner, we had the chicken and rice dish (can't remember the name - no longer on menu) and the Bell's Braised Beef. It was outstanding!! Of course, we had to get desserts (made in house). We ordered the peanut butter pie and the sticky toffee pudding. They were absolutely amazing!! The food, service, and overall experience was very good!! If they were closer to us, it would easily be added into our restaurant rotation!

My husband absolutely love dining at Four Roses. They are always updating their menu seasonally and really go above and beyond on their dishes. The food is unbelievable. I've always been incredibly impressed by the flavor pairings, the many dessert offerings, and they always have very unique cocktails as well. Make sure you make a reservation in advance because this is a very popular place and more than likely you will not be able to walk into a table because they are so popular for all the reasons I just listed.

I ordered the Bells Braised Beef. It was excellent!!! My complements to the chef! Service was also great! Not too often we get dessert, but am I glad we did. Cranberry Bread Pudding was incredible!!! Ok I'm running out of exclamation points. We will be definitely come back for a second visit sooner than later. Great place to eat!

This place is amazing!! I had the Duck and my boyfriend had the Ribs. It was delicious!! A little pricey but worth it.

Honestly, the food was better than some of the higher end spots I’ve been too. The ribs were great. I tried my wife’s. My lamb was also pretty good. The dessert menu is epic.

Took my wife here for the first time for her birthday. Service was great. I had the mesquite skewer for an appetizer. That was absolutely fantastic. Good amount of meat with it. Just wish it had like 3 or 4 more grilled onion pieces with it. The one piece that did come with it along with the other peppers had great flavor. We were very happy with all of our food. Huge drink menu. Huge dessert menu. We were very pleased with everything. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed a great meal at four roses! The deserts were to die for. It would have been nice to have everyone use the front door when exiting to keep the heat in doors. We were a bit chilly every time the side door opened and a blast of winter air came rushing in.

Food was absolutely delicious, it is a really nice restaurant, the prices here aren’t much higher than other restaurants but the quality and the flavor of the food are definitely much better than those of a lot of other places’. We will go back for sure!! Highly recommend Boursin Stuffed Portobello and their desserts are a must try, their all tasty and the right portion!

We were not prepared for what we found, as Google had this place listed below McDonald's when we asked for best restaurants in Plainwell. After two pleasant and positive experiences in Plainwell earlier this week, we found the best in the area. It was packed out...a good indicator

Our server, Megan, was very helpful. We had a nice mesquite beef skewer appetizer, and Staci had maple mustard ribs, while I had the whitefish Grenoble. Good choices! We had dessert, which is unusual for us. I had the toffee crunch bread pudding and Staci the carrot cake. Both the coffee and decaf were excellent.

The presentation on all the courses was very nice, and the food was delicious! Price was actually quite reasonable, we thought.

We had such a wonderful dinner with friends here this evening. They have a lovely atmosphere, nice and classy yet okay for a casual meal as well. Our dinners were delicious - each of us were very happy with the meals that we ordered. The waitress was friendly, but also very professional and have excellent service.

We were celebrating a birthday on a Wednesday night. They were super busy but our waitress, Cassie M. went above and beyond to get a vegan meal for one person in our party. She was fantastic, food was excellent and the service was quick. Desserts of course are stellar.

Always great. Great variety and not your typical menu. Deserts are amazing. Reasonable for what you are served, but not a nightly choice for the average couple. It's a special occasion place, most definitely.

A very lovely place to have dinner. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is updated and classic and the waitstaff is very friendly and professional. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. It was shark week and we had the shark bites for an appetizer, I had flank steak with blue cheese and salsa and my wife had the shrimp and clams in chorizo tomato sauce. You have to try one of the 25 or so homage deserts. I recommend the Kentuky bourbon pie.

I made arrangements for my parents to celebrate their 59th Wedding Anniversary. I had went to Four Roses Cafe and spoke with waitress and she took care of them like King and Queen. They were so happy and enjoyed everything from beginning to end (including dessert).

My favorite restaurant in Michigan ! I love to watch the kitchen making magic, I've always been delighted at everything they present. The dessert list is phenomenal with the best carrot cake I've ever had, and the wine beer and cocktail assortment is outstanding ! Hands down the finest Michigan dinning experience

Hands down the best meal I have ever had! It could not have been better. Amazing service. I had filet mignon and it was cooked spot on and so tender. Then I had the peanut butter pie and cannot wait to go back for more. I am blown away with the whole experience!

We celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary here tonight. It was wonderful! Their uniquely seasoned ribs were delicious. Mark enjoyed the duck breast. And dessert was raspberry cheesecake. Our waitress was super attentive & friendly. Highly recommend!
