Village Market- Allegan, Michigan

Super busy as always but it is nice to see full shelves even after the snow storm. Keep up the amazing job at our local store. I'm glad Allegan has you as the food source.

We were visiting from out of town and our airbnb host suggested we go here. What a pleasant surprise. We were there around 10 p.m., and they had more check out lanes and baggers open than peak times where I live. Clean, well lit, and the bakes goods made there were fantastic.

Carries Several brands prices vary but they have some cheap items as well. Nice store. Love the bulk dog biscuits

We call it The Village Markup LOL! We only shop there for essentials but the store is clean, well stocked and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Amy at the Deli/hot food service is awesome! She went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed for a small get together. I really appreciate it!

Great place , cashier's are decent , but a little pricey

Great selection of products. The fuel rewards are awesome. Saves me at least 100$ a week!!

Best roasted chicken around. And the cheddar potato pops were divine. Order my meal and ate it at the park next door.

Nice hometown grocery store. Found some good sale items while visiting family from out of state.

I would much rather go here than Walmart, it's worth a few extra dollars...

The store is always cleaned, on great order and well stocked. The employees that I dealt with were the BEST!! I wish I knew their names but the lady worked the liquor section and the tall older gentleman was absolutely friendly and so kind and funny. I absolutely loved his jokes!!!!

This is a great small town grocery store and we use it all of the time! They have a great selection of things, a deli and an amazing meat assortment! They are always open day and night making it perfect for everyday shopping or late night emergencies where you simply forgot something! It's also nice to have a pharmacy attached!

I love this village market. Large store always in stock. Multiple checkout lane options including self scan.

We love shopping local and Meijers and the village markets are our favorite places to shop. We avoid Walmart at all costs and I erge everyone else to do the same.

I have never had a negative issue with my Village Market shopping.
Only that sometimes they tend to run out of calves liver. Which I do not understand because only one out of fifty people seem to care for liver and onions.
The entire staff have always been pleasant, especially the lady that runs the cigarette, lottery and liquor area, a genuine Sweetheart. [Diana]

I want to say this is the biggest grocery store in Allegan but really is the only traditional one. Sure I wish it had the selection and prices of the larger chains outside of town but I don't think those are totally fair comparisons for a rather small town.
The selection is actually reasonable although I personally would like to see more natural and organic options. As for price the little extra cost is sometimes worth the convenience of not having to drive 20 minutes out of town and back to get to a bigger chain store.
Personally I've almost always found the staff to be quite friendly.

They are amazing. First time ever seeing caffeine free diet my dew. Accidently left my purse in basket and didn't realize it until I got home. Went back and they had the purse and gave it to me with nothing disturbed in the purse. Thank you so very much.

Always loved villagemarke though grew up going to the one in south haven I have been glad to shop there and discovering that they sells boarshead deli meats pricey but good quality deli meats with no preservatives by product etc well this one did my birthday cake this year and it was amazing not just in looks but in how well not was made totally worth it more cake then I needed but some of the best indeed...

The workers there are always very friendly and helpful... Even the manager stopped what he was doing and took me to the back of the store and got me some box's I needed for my daughter who was moving... Nice people and local conveinence goes a long way !!
