This place is a gem for Alpena. The decor and housewares are all so beautiful. You won’t find many duplicates of things… making it a great place to get gifts. I always feel welcomed and am almost immediately greeted at the door (but not overbearing pouncing on the customer.) the staff is so professional and well put together. You can tell this is a business that takes care of their employees and is loyal to them… I always see the same staff. Retention nowadays is a rarity. I hope the continue to have success. Oh, and the drinks have always been top notch and creative.

Everyone was so welcoming and helpful! Beautiful atmosphere and products. You can sip alcoholic beverages and other beverages while you shop. The gorgeous fall decor in the window is what caught my eye so I had to stop! I'll definitely be back again when I'm in town. This store has such a welcoming and positive vibe!

Excellent store where you can find almost anything from gifts to household items to cooking supplies. An excellent wine and beer store with a complete bar to sit and relax at. The second floor has a golf simulator to keep your game sharp all year around. A must stop when in the alpena area. The store has a friendly and knowledgeable staff to help with any questions and purchases.

I love Rusty Petunias! The merchandise is fabulous and everyone who works there are wonderful people ❤ Very beautiful and unique things to find. A very upbeat and comfortable place to shop or try some unique drinks and charcuterie food.

Saying this shop has outstanding customer service is an understatement! I visited Rusty Petunias while on vacation this year. I loved the rings they had on display so I knew I needed to try a couple on. In the process of trying on rings, I removed my own ring. I ending up leaving the store and leaving my ring there. Days later, once I was far away from Michigan, I realized my ring was missing. I called the store and they had saved it for me! They were hoping someone would call to claim it and had been keeping it safe. Then, someone who worked there mailed it to me using their own personal money. The people who work at Rusty Petunias will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you so much, you all have no idea how much this ring means to me!

We had to wait for my husbands’s iPad to be repaired nearby, thus we were delighted to find this shop to kill some time. Eclectic variety of gifts and a bar to grab a glass of wine/beer while browsing. Really nice staff and owner. Highly recommend.
