This is the best place in town to get souvenir t-shirts for the most part. They do have other items for souvenirs in the shop. I like the American Indian blanket that I got for my son and his wife for Christmas. It's so beautiful so warm. And I just love Griffin(Just figuratively speaking Mrs Griffin) He owns the shop and he is the friendliest shop owner in Alpena 💞

Stopped here when we were in Alpena last month. Griffin (the owner) didn't know what came in the door. Six ladies (high school class of 74 friends) who get together each year headed here while in the north. We chatted and he was so helpful in getting the right sizes for us. We left with several shirts. Of course, I got one for hubby and when I got back to SC, it was the wrong size (it was the right size, but hubby thought he was smaller). I called Griffin and asked if I could exchange it via mail. He said no problem. Sent it back to him and he sent me the correct size quickly. Excellent service and a great interaction. We will be back on our visit north next year!

My friend and I went here today! We had the best time. The shop has a lot of very cool items ranging from handmade soaps to cute graphic tee shirts. The owner is especially personable and made out experience even better! We will continue to come into this shop. Worth checking out!

A neat little store with an amazing amount of items for sale. You have to see it to believe it. A very personable owner waited on me and we had a good conversation. An overall wonderful experience.

I'm super happy we found this shop! The T-shirts fit incredibly well and are super soft. There's also a lot of really cool Michigan inspired decorations and trinkets. I plan to go back at least a couple times a year to re-up my t shirt game. My family really enjoys this place too.

This store is amazing! It is my go to place for gifts. If you have a loved one who is hard to buy for or enjoys good quality small batch items it is the perfect gift store. I also always find something for myself every time I stop in! The staff and owners are so amazing and kind. It is such a great addition to Alpena’s downtown! It’s a must that you check it out!

This place is awesome! Came to Alpena for a mini honeymoon with my new bride. The place had the most Bigfoot apparel and gifts I have seen. The owner is an awesome guy. He congratulated us and he was interested in our story. We talked Sasquatch and Michigan Dogman. Hope they do online orders he had some cool beer glasses! See you on our next trip up!

Charming little place with good outdoor wares and clothing. Very friendly staff too

Cute shop. The service is friendly and there are lots of options for yourself or others. Clothing, blankets, stickers, candles, jewelry, and even socks that pay money forward to causes (planting trees, saving animals, etc.). There were some beautiful cedar corn hole games for backyard fun, too. It's family owned and a great local place to support.

Cedar & Threads is such an asset to downtown Alpena. Filled with wonderful, unique gifts for yourself and others. There truly is something for everyone. I am obsessed with the matching shirts I was able to purchase for myself and my baby. I wish I was able to spend more time looking around as my family needed to get back on the road to travel home. I look forward to visiting again next time I'm in Alpena!

Love this place! Boutique cute with something for everyone. I found a tool for my kitchen and a great comfrey balm for my medicine cabinet!
