Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

So impressed with Mitch at your Alpena store who took care of my order even though he was closing the store. I said, "I can call back in the morning. I don't want to keep you after hours." He said, "No problem, just hold a minute. I need to lock the doors and I'll come right back." Could have gone home but stayed to take care of my order ... WOW.

Kudos to Bree at the 23 Mile New Baltimore store as well. She, so graciously, took the time to look up my Pro Classic custom mixed paint formula and call Mitch with it even though it wasn't a sale that was going through her store. WOW2!

Not sure what Sherwin Williams is doing to have such great employees but it sure reflects well on your whole company!

Every time that I leave the Alpena Sherwin Williams store, I have a smile on my face. The team is highly knowledgeable and very helpful with any of your painting needs, concerns and questions. Not to forget to mention the great sales and discounts on quality products! Each of the employees deliver a fun and memorable experience. They remember you by name, and even remember your previous purchases! I won’t go anywhere but my local Sherwin Williams for all of my painting needs!

I am a designer and a home owner. Have dealt with many SW stores in Michigan. This one is the best!!! If they don’t know something no games. They will research. They always are professional. Make u laugh and are very knowledgeable. Also. Ever asked and they carried out my purchases several times!! Also got in things on time. Called. Did everything the way a specialty store should!! We have a basement/utility area that houses our furnace, hot water tank, storage shelves etc. It has experienced years of water damage and flooding. The issues have been repaired but they left staining and discoloration on the walls and floor. It’s been dry for a couple of years so we decided to freshen it up with paint. Per the recommendation of Felicia, I purchased P&F EN SATIN EXTRA for the walls and floor. It is for painting cement, it covered in 1 coat, EXCELLENT paint. I recommend it to everyone who wants to take a dungeon and turn it into a castle!

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They really are experts with paint! They even help customers and contractors by connecting eachother and get jobs done. Years later and still the same :)

I have been in this store many times, people are always great and the paint is always perfect. If you need more paint in your color it always matches. I've used their paint on three houses.

Staff was very helpful for my woodworking project when I needed stains and varnishes. The selection was terrific and had extensive knowledge of their products.
