We went to town late while there were many places still open they didn't have the menu items we were looking for, many days in Bar Harbor had lobster, steamers, BBQ etc. I was in the mood of something different but still local and fresh. We couldn't have picked a better place. Lobster bisque was absolutely delicious. The fish and chips with truffles fries amazing, fish couldn't be more fresh and perfect seasoned accompanied with tartar sauce I loved it. To end with a blueberry pie and blueberry ice cream, both delicious perfect balanced not too sweet very tasty I'm still thinking about it.
My husband had an onion soup that it was ok. The broth was a bit blend. But the hamburger was excellent. Cocktails were also good. I recommend this place, go for the local ingredients dishes on the menu you won't be disappointed.

We visited Bar Harbor for a long weekend and on this particular day spent the whole day visiting Acadia. We were a bit tired but definitely STARVING once we reached downtown around 6:00p. We first checked with a seafood restaurant that looked tasty but they had a 2 hr wait, so we went to Paddy’s and asked what their wait time was (15-20 min). So we went to Paddy’s. The restaurant was BUSY so service was slightly slow but wasn’t bothersome to us. Our server was very informative and absolutely fantastic. He was super nice and attentive when our glasses ran dry. The beer was delicious, the cocktails were strong, and the food was fabulous. We were all very happy with our experience and would recommend Paddy’s to anyone. I had the Atlantic cod sandwich and fries and it was so good! Their lemon tarter sauce was delicious. The fish tacos were missing the avocado and coleslaw toppings when it was first presented but they rectified it quickly!

This restaurant is traditionally Irish from the name, atmosphere, and the selection of Stout. Where it differs though is the implementation of local Maine cuisine, which means lobster. For my starter I opted for the Lobster Bisque, which is a very thick, creamy, lobster soup with a very rich flavor. While delicious, due to its richness and size, you may want to have this as an entree. For my main course I had the lobster roll, which came with your standard (but excellently executed) truffle fries, which weren’t very truffle-y though, but also some delicious spicy sliced pickles. This can be gotten either hot with butter, or cold with mayonnaise which I ordered. While it was Definetly good, I couldn’t distinguish its flavors very well after just having lobster bisque. For desert I had the bread pudding served with Vanilla Ice Cream, and had a candied pecan, rolled chocolate pieces on top, and rum-soaked raisins which helped add to the flavor. It also comes with a Carmel sauce which is drizzled over top. Overall nice atmosphere, and great service also. We dined on a Thursday evening when the wait time was well over an hour for most restaurants, and Paddy’s used a text message system to tell me when a table was ready, which was about 35 minutes later, so I took this opportunity to walk around the downtown area and window shop.

Excellent food, I was surprised. No offense, but I was expecting Irish Pub food. That was not the case. Best Fish Tacos I've ever had. Lobster n Crab Dip was to die for (especially using flat bread over chips). Taste and authenticity were spot on. Our server Abraham was quirky, attentive, on point, and made our experience memorable. After facing 2 hour waits at some of the other establishments in the area, we were forced to be seated at Paddy's. God's hands at work. Better food, better experience, better prices. Keep up the good work. We'll be back.

A great option for a later dinner in Bar Harbor, as many restaurants close between 8-9pm. While technically an Irish spot, they do have a variety of menu options. I went with the fish tacos and they were absolutely delicious! My server Rebecca was very attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was warm and comfy. Great for both families or a date night.

We had dinner at Paddy’s on a beautiful August night and sat outside right on the water. The view was great and the food was delicious. We started with the hot crab and lobster dip which was a 10 for both of us. My husband had the surf and turf which had short rib and lobster tail. I had the lobster salad and it had more lobster meat than I could finish. We finished the night with the Guinness chocolate cake which was also excellent. We would definitely go back!

I've always seen this place every time I come to Maine, but it's always super crowded. Came for a late lunch so my family was able to get good seating. This place is dog friendly and you can sit outside with your dog. Food was amazing and my waiter was really friendly. Everything was great.

We ate out a lot on our trip and I have to say Paddy's takes the cake for best experience we had overall. Our server whom I wish I remembered his name (red hair) was very nice and his personality was so refreshing. The food was amazing 👏🏼 and so beautifully presented. Best fries I've had in forever and even the coleslaw was amazing. The fish was huge and so good and the cheese platter we got for an ap was like nothing I've ever had. So so good! Drinks we had were awesome. Very worth checking out!

So fresh and so good! Lobster cream soup and lobster salad fit the Bar Harbor restaurant vibe, not the norm for an Irish pub! Plus, were great tasting! Robust room for outdoor dining which felt great on a warm Saturday. Brussel sprouts as an app were tasty!

One of the best places I’ve dined at in Bar Harbor! I ordered the pub dip sandwich and it was SO flavorful! Even the pickles and coleslaw were delicious. Everyone else in my party got the steak frites and enjoyed their meal. The truffle fries are delicious! Our server was a very polite young man. The atmosphere was on point for an Irish pub.

Had a great meal, shared a BIG pretzel and the Stout burger with the wife. Enjoyed beer outdoors taking in the busy street and scenery. Waiter Jaco was excellent 👌

Doesn't matter what you order, everything on the menu is delicious. We had such a great meal that we had to come back a second time. Ended up ordering the same thing: warm and buttery lobster roll with a bowl of lobster bisque. Lots of menu options for those who don't like seafood. Service was good both times. Outdoor seating provided a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Very enjoyable Irish pub. All very traditional Irish traditional foods and drinks available. I had a great local red Irish beer and corned beef sandwich. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Huge place with lots of seating options.

We had a party of 7. We were seated immediately. (This was after 7p. We had just got back from whale watching andeveryone was hungry.) Rebecca "Becs" was a wonderful server. She was fun and knowledgeable about the menu. Made great suggestions. Would recommend to everyone to dine here. Everything was AMAZING!

On vacation in Bar Harbor for the week. My wife and I snuck away for a quick cocktail at the bar in Paddy's to celebrate. The two guys working Friday night were in a great mood and happy to serve. They made us blueberry moonshines and blueberry mojitos. Quality drinks, with great taste, we were very happy. The food beyond the bar looked good but we didn't have time to sample. Will sneak back in the future, thanks team!
