Such a fun experience! This boat trip really added to your Bar Harbor experience. I enjoyed the views, great educational information from the guide, and playing with the lobsters. I learned a lot during this trip. My little boy loved getting to put the rubber bands on the lobsters. We visited in early October 2022. Dress warm and be prepared for a joyful experience.

One of the best tours we've ever been on, anywhere! We saw seals and the Egg Rock Island lighthouse. Then the best part--the staff hauled some lobster traps and told us, with great enthusiasm, a great deal about lobsters and the life of the people who harvest lobsters. It was so interesting! Tip: With the wind it may feel 20 degrees cooler than on land, so bring an extra jacket.

If you come to Bar Harbor or Acadia and not take this tour....you've missed the true flavor and experience of the northeast!!! We enjoyed having nature, marine life and points of interest shared. This was priced right at $38, ran timely, easy to reserve, find and board. It was packed full of learning...the guides and captain were delightful and engaging, it shows how they love the spirit of Sea life. Don't hesitate...book it! 2 hour tour.

We had a great time this morning on the lobster tour. Both guys were so good with questions, teaching the children and letting them participate. Bring a jacket for sure as even on a hot morning, the ocean breeze is chilly. We got a lot of fun information about Bar Harbor and lobster fishing. 2 hrs is long so be prepared if you have young kids.

I've visited Bar Harbor a few times, been on a whale boat tour, sailboat cruise, but never a lobster boat ride. Lulu Lobster Boat was by far the BEST on the water experience! Our guide and captain were friendly, funny, and super knowledgeable. We learned so much about the lobster industry. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area! Be sure to book in advance!

So fun and full of information, I’m so glad I booked a trip! Everyone was great from the ticket sales to the captain, great experience for the entire family! Especially perfect was the weather, saw many seals and 5 eagles that day. Love!

This was a wonderful experience. Lots of hands on action and we learned how to bait traps and make lobsters take naps. The kids had a great time and there are some beautiful photo opportunities. This is a small setting (I think 12 people max) and we were lucky enough to have an adorable puppy on our boat ride. The crew was amazing and Allie really knew what she was doing and didn’t miss a beat with the 100s of questions from the kiddos. The captain let the kids take the wheel and they loved it. I would like to mention that you do not get to keep the lobsters. They go to a restaurant on the pier called Luke’s Lobster.

This tour was really cool, informative, and just plain fun. The first attempt out we only made it about 20 minutes in before storms ended up cancelling the trip, but they quickly rescheduled us for the following day without any trouble. We got there early to get a "good" seat on the boat (recommend the far back corner) and we loved every second of it. The tour guide was really wonderful, funny, educational, and a great presenter. We also got to see Egg Rock Lighthouse and watched the seals on the surrounding rocks for quite a bit. Definitely recommend the trip when you're in Bar Harbor!

Our guide, Jen, was absolutely fabulous. She was funny, witty, intelligent and full of everything we ever wanted to know about lobsters!!! Captain Tom was great as well. At one point invited anyone interested to come up and look at all the nautical guides that he uses to get us safely through the Bay. We saw several lobsters and crabs, and got to each hold a lobster. We saw many seals, porpoises and even a bald eagle! I would highly recommend this boat tour. Money well spent!!!

We loved this tour! Being smaller than many of the tour boats it allowed for a much more personal and interactive experience. Enjoyed seeing the beautiful Maine coastline from the water as well as learning about lobster fishing. Guides made the trip very fun. Those who wanted to also got to hold and help band lobsters. A unique experience.

Captain Tony and crew provided a two hour tour of the harbor. We saw A dolphin, grey seals, harbor seals and even a close up with a Bald Eagle and her baby.
Very entertaining and informative.
They pulled up some lobster traps with small lobsters and a few Jonah Crab. Everyone who wanted to participate was able to handle the lobsters.
We were fortunate to have a perfect weather day.
Fun for all ages.
Highly recommend this!

What a great way to spend an afternoon in Bar Harbor. The 2 person crew was friendly, polite and super informative. The boat was pretty full but it felt roomy enough. The guide, Gaelyn, narrated throughout the excursion with unmatched enthusiasm. He is a retired teacher and it was obvious that he loves to teach and entertain. We learned in an interactive way about lobsters and the harbor. After the lobster hunting we road out to a lighthouse where we circumnavigated the little island it's on. There were two types of seals swimming and sunning. Tons of birds enjoyed the island and it's skies including two amazing bald eagles.
Only SLIGHT possible negative .... Gaelyn really likes hamming it up with the kids. There were 5 kids on board and there was a LOT of time spent being silly with them. Seriously, how many ways can you put a lobster on a kid's head? If you're annoyed by weird kid stuff, this could be uncool for you. Haha! If you have kids, bring them!

Such a fun excursion while in Bar Harbor! My wife booked this trip for the two of us and we were so surprised on how much fun we had! We thought it would just be about lobsters but boy were we wrong! Our tour guide shared so much about lobsters and lobster fishing but also a great deal about Maine and the town of Bar Harbor! We learned so much and had a great time!!! Highly highly recommend!

One of the best boat tours in Bar Harbor. I would recommend for anyone interested in learning a bit about lobsters and lobstering. Our guide Mark and Captain Tony really shine. We loved the hands on fun banding lobsters, touring around Egg Rock lighthouse to see the wildlife and handling the lobsters that Captain brought up in the cages. Mark truly is a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful story teller.

WoW! I 100% recommend Lulu Lobster Boat Ride. Make sure to reserve your time slot weeks ahead of time online. You won’t be able to get tickets same day. Parking in the area is either street or a few parking lots in the area. We paid less than $2.00 per hour with no maximum hour limit. Parking in the area definitely fills up later in the day so plan accordingly. The tour is very informative and we were able to see many seals and porpoises. They have reduced the amount of people during the pandemic and everyone is required to wear a mask.

This was such an awesome experience. My sons can't stop telling me how cool Dallas and the "lobster lady" are. Thank you so much for an awesome tour!

We had a great time, we got exactly what was promised plus some! While it’s a smaller outfit compared to the other tour boats, it was absolutely perfect.

Even on a warm day, take a jacket or sweatshirt just in case.

The educational piece of the area, lobsters, seals, etc was great! The crew and our narrator was awesome! Highly recommend this outfit!

It was the perfect ending to our trip to Bar Harbor!
