Karas Family Restaurants

We went here for breakfast, and it was great: the food was cheap (~$10 per person); the service was great; it wasn't too crowded. The only downside I noticed was that it was that the tables were small, otherwise great!

Our waitress was so friendly. You can tell it's a family run restaurant so you get that homey feeling from the time you walk in the door
They food was fantastic.

This is the best breakfast I've had in recent memory. The gyro meat is perfectly seasoned. I'd eat that every day if I could. The pancakes are the best I've tried at any restaurant I've been to. The employees are caring, friendly, and make you feel welcome, even when they're slammed packed. I recommend sitting at the counter. It was a cool experience.

Wow! These fries are amazingly crispy and tasty! The Reuben sandwich I had was so good I probably could have eaten 2. This place is a great hole in the wall place that has great service and excellent food. I'm definitely going to frequent here as I've only just learned about this incredible place to eat. My friends gryo was according to him great and what they normally ordered as they have been here countless times. Thank you for excellent service and great quality food!

Excellent portions and taste. We got the eggs and gyro meat with hashbrowns. Also we got a supreme Greek omelet. Tzatziki was delicious and so was the feta cheese on the inside. Our waitress was such a lovely person and was excellent at her profession!!

A friend suggested this place for breakfast. The food was delicious, the service was fairly fast considering they were very busy. This is a really nice little restaurant. Great breakfast spot. I will definitely be back. The price was also very reasonable.

Great food when you order gyros your never disappointed they give you more gyro meat than you know what to do with they have switched owners but still great food and service our family has been going there for years.

THE best Greek breakfast around. Tzatziki sauce was incredible and so was the Greek Supreme Omelette. Great Service. Also, BUY a bottle of their House Ranch. Best $7 Ever Spent!

Haven't really been since Kara's Brother's.. still took my husband first timer. Loved it. Said he would loves some foods especially lamb gyros. Staff was awesome, hope the other waitress (got her cat dropped off. Liked her new vehicle;) ) I've been telling my hubby, we finally went, we will be back <3

I have been coming here for over 12 years. I moved out of the shores so I dont get to go as often but it is still soo warm and welcoming. You feel like apart of the family when your in here. I love that I still get greeted with "Hey how have you been" like they still remember me. I love this place so much. This will always be my spot!!

Breakfast was delicious! Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back!

Great biscuits & gravy! I will be back to try other dishes but am so happy my brother, Dave & sister in law, Joyce invited me here. They recommended the biscuits & gravy when asked what I should order, but said it's all good & since they eat there alot, I decided to try it. I have been looking for authentic biscuits & gravy since TJ's closed on Groesbeck, Karas did not disappoint me. 😁 Also, service was good & nice atmosphere. I would recommend you give it a try.

Very nice small family restaurant hidden in St Clair shores The service was great didn't have to wait on anything our waitress was on top of everything we needed and the food came out hot and was very delicious we were offered refills without asking just an all-around awesome dining experience if you're in the St Clair shores area I highly recommend you check this place out The gyro meet is really good The sauces are also awesome give it a try

I've only come here for breakfast but the service is always great, they are on top of refilling coffee cups, and the food is delicious! I would highly recommend the caramel apple french toast or gyro and eggs, or gyro sandwich!

The cooks r perfect and help will bring you whatever you ask for but they r professionals food is the best get a gyro platter. Oh my goodness. 👏

Lived in the Shores my entire life, but only recently started to stop by here. This is definitely the new family spot for us. Servers are always so nice and the food is always so fresh! Haven't had a single bad experience. Really wish I discovered this place sooner! Check it out you won't be disappointed.

My 3 daughters 4-8 years-old loved the food and interacting with the cooks during their meal. We had excellent service and the gyro Supreme omlette was phenomenal. In the words of my husband, I devoured it! Definitely will be back again!
