Uht Funeral Home

This is not a customer review, but I'd still like to share my experience at Uht Funeral Home. Uht is an educational partner with WSU and I was sent there as a student. Over the course of a few months, I got to know each and every staff member there. They treat every single person that comes through their door with respect and compassion. They truly go above and beyond to make sure the funeral experience is personalized and dignified for your loved one. The building itself has a very comforting vibe, pleasant decor, clean facilities, and a gorgeous live bird enclosure. They are also extremely knowledgeable. I'll use what I learned from them throughout my own career as a funeral director. Although I work at another funeral home in the area, I will always hold Uht in high regard. I'd trust them with any of my loved ones.

This is the place to say goodbye to your loved one. They handle all matters with dignity and respect. The home itself is one of the nicest I've even been in. It's clean and kept up beautifully. It was an honor to be able to say goodbye to my family member in the setting they provide. Uht is a class act and the folks that run it are too. Thank you for your service to our community.

Everything about the facility, the people, and the technical support was top notch. I'm so glad my kids suggested we let Uht handle the arrangements for our beautiful wife/mother.

I would definitely suggest Uht to anyone who wants their loved one's service to be handled with upmost dignity and respect, in a classical environment, supported with today's modern video technology.

At such a difficult time, I must say that Uht Funeral Home has the best staff and each one exceeds expectations to make sure things go as smoothly as possible not missing even the smallest detail. Thank you for making this memorable as we celebrated my Mom's life.

From the minute we arrived at the funeral home there was zero compassion. Not one mention of condolences.
They spelled my mother’s name wrong and put the wrong address on the death certificate.
For what we had to pay we were very disappointed.
The ladies from Uht’s were great at the church and Cemetary, but the owner/director was less than professional.

Very little to no communication through out the process... Staff and director use poor judgment verbally when speaking of loved ones . I went to see my son prior to any preparation. I wasn't told " I'm sorry for your loss. He is in his natural state" as you would think. I was told by the funeral director that " it is what it is." Which adding to the grief of a devastating situation. There were errors throughout, from obituary to flowers.Then attempted to get assistance with funeral. Was given incorrect information numerous times by staff. No one there seems to be on the same page.. There were many more issues i won't speak of but at the end of the day I would not recommend this funeral home.
