Sencha Tea Bar

This is a nice place. I like how they are open a little later than other places (10pm) so it is a good place to study. They have a wide selection of teas but I'm a simple guy. I just need something simple to drink while I read and study. One thing, they are not at fault for- when it is cold outside, it can get a little warm inside, because they don't control the heating. It is controlled on a single system by the building which has units above.

The vibe is great. Compared to other places, coffeeshops, which I like and view favorably, this vibe I would characterize as just plain friendly. Friendly and warm and happy which for me was unexpected given the general area.

Such great vibes and really good drinks! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood

Happened upon this delightful tea bar by accident when showing an out of town guest the Prince mural. We’re both huge tea lovers so immediately had to try it out.

They had a wide variety of teas and options available. We each got the Lavender London Fog. If a shop can truly impress me with their London Fog, (I’m very picky about them) then I’m sold.

I also tried their lemon berry bar and found it to be delicious and a great pairing with my tea.

They also have lots of cute items for sale. I ended up leaving with 2 rings, a pin, and 2 plushies and zero regrets. I’ll definitely be back with my husband and raved to his coworkers as well.

I only wish it was closer to home. If Sencha ever wants to open a location near Maple Grove/Champlin/Osseo I’d be a happy and frequent customer!

My daughter adores this quaint and lovable shop. I took her there myself to see what she loved so much, and I was equally impressed. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with home-y decor and aromatic heaven. The service is fast and the baristas are friendly and competent. Would 100% recommend to anyone interested in finding a local go-to tea shop.

Wide variety and everything I have tried has been good. There are several alternative milk options. Vibe encourages conversation. I have not been there with folks who are hearing impaired. At the time of this posting, I could not speak with intelligence to this consideration. I have spoken to the social experience, but the space has no problem with one opening a laptop to do a little work. Parking is icky, but you will find something ... eventually ... embrace all legal possibilities. There is a lot in the back with a few dedicated spots and a mural of Prince. I love mural art. Enjoy!

Went to the K-pop cup sleeve event there. Unfortunately, they ran out of cup sleeves when i got there. The staff had freebies for people who missed out, though, and the decorations were very fun. Nice job!

Friendly and helpful staff. Helped me pick out the best bubble tea combo. Watermelon/Pomegranate cooler with tapioca pearls and passion fruit lychee. A lot of people were just hanging or working on their laptops. Relaxing atmosphere, but kinda bright lights so not quiet.

This boba tea is delicious. The crew are kind and friendly. Interior is relaxing and great for chilling out or getting some work done. Good vibes all around here.

I absolutely love this place. One of the best places in the whole twin cities, although I'm definitely sad they started closing earlier though for those of us pulling late night study seshes.

Been coming here for 6 years now, delicious teas with pearls. If your not in the mood for a drink that have a great pastry selection. A good bubble tea and sandwich will run you about $10.

I love their seasonal drinks. They experiement with interesting bends of flavors and they always come out amazing! Chill atmosphere, fast service. Wish there was more seating.

Very good boba tea and customer service. Well priced for what you get. Well kept, clean, cozy atmosphere. Now what I would reccomend is having more than one person staff the store at a time. I think that would be quite nice. This place can get busy.

Love this place.if you want something new and refreshing come here. The staff is completely open to talk about whatever, there's usually a small band playing or some funky cool music. Expect lava lamps,plants,cool colorful teapots and bright bright lights,but atmospheric as well.

I’m not sure why there are some low reviews- I liked the location and atmosphere and the drinks were great. The service was prompt and the staff was friendly. We’ll definitely be back again.

the staff person was very kind and even asked other customers to socially distance if not wearing masks. That helped me feel safe while ordering in person Drink was delicious; I will be back again!

Hilarious and wonderful. Superb tea and staff. Now check out the google review photos vs now. If you want to see what a color blind person does for design, this is it! Cozy booky pale green and green got changed some years ago to .. pale milk chocolate, burgundy seating and bluish slate. #1 worlds worst color scheme now, worth it just to see, and the tea selection is awesome

Love this place! I got an iced London fog with lavender whip and pearls. It was perfection!

I came back after a couple of years of being away and this is still one of my favorite spots in the twin cities. The tea options are amazing, the atmosphere is fun and the staff is always helpful. I love it. It is great to come and work for a bit, or just to stop by for a quick snack and drink. Awesome place!

Stopped there on a Saturday morning and got their signature drink (Royal Thai Tea Latte). Superfast from order to creation - but we were the only ones in there (we might have walked in not long after their open?). Drink was tasty as all get out.
