Best pizza we’ve had in Minnesota so far! Great flavor, good sauce, nice stretchy cheese and very generous with the toppings. Service was great and nicely decorated restaurant. It was a little busy at lunch, but they kept up and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend!!

I had the cheese burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had! They gave me a plentiful amount of French fries and the service was great and fast! The meal was super cheap too!

This place has great food! Stopped for lunch on a Monday and they were not too busy, ordered a drink which was mixed good. For food had mozzarella sticks which were amazing and then had their BBQ swiss burger. The burger was awesome with good taste smothered with BBQ sauce and cheese and fries were good with a little bit of seasoning on them. Staff was friendly and food was out quick. Will definitely stop back in if in town and need a place to eat.

The pizza was good and had generous toppings. And a nice selection of beers to wash it down. The waitress was sweet and prompt. The wings were huge! The honey BBQ wings were delicious.

What a great place and friendly staff. I did not eat much for I was just passing through but dang it was good. Yes I would most definitely eat here again. Although I didn’t have pizza it looked and smelled amazing. So maybe next time.

Benson’s is THE Walker staple.
Don’t expect “heaven on earth”, be reasonable-
They cater late at night and all through the day.
Many choices that are comfortable and safe for the northern demographic.
Family friendly, group friendly, or even a little intimate ;)
Food is GOOD.
Drinks… full bar- margaritas are a no. But that’s me. I can always get me another mixed drink! And they are great!

I love them all- so great at what they do. I can only imagine the stress and pressure they endure as a constantly successful establishment and as hospitality workers… but they all always remain genuine, kind and professional AND attentive.

Very tasty. Service was also good. They had outdoor and indoor seating. Cajun chicken wasn't very spicy, only pepper jack cheese, but it was juicy. Pizza had a lot of cheese. It was pretty good. Only complaint was a stupid fly that kept landing on us.

Excellent food with a great vibe and great & friendly service. We will be back, for sure. I'm Canadian, and always misjudge the inches when ordering pizza's in the United States. 18" is HUGE! Great Pizza though. Four people shared one, and we took some leftovers home, to be enjoyed with the evening's Cabernet at home. The hot dogs are excellent too. I do have a humble suggestion though, what would make those dogs absolutely 100% perfect, would be if they were served with a dipping sauce. Not the bottled stuff, something unique you create yourself. i'm thinking a nice piquent sauce, perhaps gentle mild creamy mustard & asparagus sauce?If you've ever had a pukka British fish, chips and curry sauce on the way home from the pub, can you imagine that curry sauce , how brilliant it will with a hot dog. But hey, that's just me.... We'll see you again Labour Day weekend. Top job, guys & gals, great coffee too!

We went here for the first time and it was packed. The staff did an amazing job, and even though you could tell they were busy, they were still on it!
We got the stuff crust pizza, and it was amazing & huge. We got a 14" and ate it for 2 days because that's how filling it was.

Pizza can be unpredictable and we are just visiting the Walker area for some hiking and decided to give Benson's a shot. This place had some seriously delicious pizza - we got the house sausage and pepperoni. Perfect crust and it was fresh and ready when we came for pick up. It's going to cost more than a pizza chain but based on our experience, they've earned it!

Update: Years later Benson's quality and staff is still top notch. If you drive through this area, make sure you stop for a pizza. Some of the best anywhere.

Best pizza in the walker area. Stuffed crust is the best. Friendly staff. Bar atmosphere.

We ate here during the week and the service was absolutely perfect. Our server was very nice, i don't remember his name, but he was fantastic. I had a chicken sandwich and the others got the stuffed crust pizza. They said it was the best pizza they had in a long time. Thanks for the great service.

Our favorite Walker pizza/ice cream place was closed Monday so we tried Bensons, glad we did! The pizza was different, thicker crust but excellent nonetheless. Service was great and a good beer selection. We took off one star well, because it’s a bar and a little noisy but not too.

Went there with my family last year on Father's day. Had to wait a while but that wasn't their fault. The pizza was SO GOOD! Probably some of the best pizza I've ever had. We'll be back this summer. Loved it so much I even bought a shot glass :-)

We ordered the Shingobee Island (meat lovers) pizza minus the Hamburger and it was fantastic. Super cold beer and a very good Bloody Mary. Our wait staff was very friendly and checked in on us several times. We will definitely return to eat here!

Best pizza in town and some of the best in Minnesota. So good I came back for lunch the next day.

This place is awesome. Great pizza! The Wabegon Lake Pizza is the best!
