Garden City Parks

Really nice park. Good for walking, running, having a picnic and watching the squirrels.
Walking path is 1.2 miles and there are shortcuts if you don't want to go the full distance.
There's also an ice arena and about 4 baseball diamonds. Several shelters with picnic tables.

Nice place where you can take the kids and enjoy their time and have fun with other kids . It's very spacious and there's Alot of swings and slides. Regarding bathrooms .... Only few and not very accessible but still ok. It's a clean place. There are tables and benches where you can sit and watch the kids playing, as well can take food and beverages with you :) , worth going with the kids !

A great place to come with your family. Clean open with plenty of space to do any type of activities. There are a few Pavilions but you may have to call first for those. Also a full outside workout facility. Bike path and walking path. The great place to take your dog for a walk get some exercise along the way.

Always a clean and friendly atmosphere!!! Pet friendly for our dog training group to meet here. As well as being the kids and grandchildren along, too!!! Everyone has fun!!!

I've always loved this park. Growing up in this neighborhood was sweet. This park always gave me a tease of being in nature. Surrounded by trees and clean paths to run or bike with others into exercise. Nice and clean with plenty of parking. We even had space to park our RV and take a nice bike ride with our pup. They have lots of covered seating areas as well. Thanks citizens for keeping this park so nice.

We visited the park for the bacon run which was flush with volunteers and fun activities for the kids. The park itself seemed to have a good variety of useful spaces (ball diamonds, picnic pavilion with grills, skate area, paved path around the perimeter, erc.) and enough parking for everyday use. Will definitely have to come back end enjoy the space when there isn't a run scheduled.

Very peaceful. I walk the track or just sit amongst the trees.

The park is nice, unfortunately the atmosphere has drastically gone down hill.
When I went to walk my dog there were several people congregated under a pavilion listening to explicit music and smoking weed.
Honestly to each their own, I was surprised at the proximity to the actual playground and that no one seemed to bother them.

There were a few other questionable individuals hanging around that may have been on something a little stronger than weed as well.

I don't know that I'd be sending school aged kids there unsupervised. But otherwise it wasn't an unpleasant experience.

My kids had a blast and wasn't over crowded... Everyone was watching their children... I've been to a few parks that no one pays attention to their kids or amything for that matter but not here...

For the most part, I feel safe here. It does feel like a comfortable sense of community too. Great for walking our pets!

Our family rented the large pavilion at garden city park for a party.we had a great time. The park was clean and well maintained, with plenty of trash recepticals.

Garden City Park has ALWAYS will be my favorite place to over 30plus years. I love the walk trail I have many founded memories with friends and our children. Now can make more MEMORIES with My Granddaughter aka YAYA CUTIECUDDLES.

Right down the street from our home, 1.2 mile walking path, beautiful pavillions, ice rink, skate park, baseball diamonds, exercise equipment & a butterfly garden maintained by the GC Garden Club!

Took my Granddaughter's had a great Time,, haven't been there for a while but going back to BBQ & Let the kids have fun Us Too,, The Park is very kept up 💯 😊

1 mile long walk path that just got redone like a year ago. Well kept grass, baseball fields and pavilions. Great place to go for a walk, jog, walk a dog, and especially great for roller blading or biking. Half of the path is shaded by tall trees so its not completely in the sun. Still a great place to go to even in the winter. Lots of rain can flood the path in some areas especially by the baseball fields but depending on how much it rained, its not hard to walk around the big puddles.

Really nice big park! Son loves the playground, city usually holds alot of events here.

It's a nice park. They have walking paths and bike trails. Peaceful place to just hang out at!

Super cool place to walk, plenty of places to sit, good amount of sun and shade, rest rooms, , they really try and keep the park clean and safe, family friendly

A great 1.1 mile somewhat oval trail, I'd say about 60% under shaded area keeping it cooler on hot summer days. It's a asphalt path, very smooth, perfect for walks or bike rides. I don't know too much about the other amenities of the park, it has many pavilions including one very large one. I think it has 4 baseball fields and a nice looking good sized playground for kids. Lots of parking.
