Central City Park

I love taking the grandkids here on weekends. The park is great!

Love the park and the many things it offers to our community. The fireworks show (yearly) seems to just keep getting better. The combination of laser/drone light show was amazing! I hope going forward Westland does more of them. The only issue is serving alcohol at events like this where we have lot's of children around. We have plenty of local businesses in our area for adults consuming alcohol. Do we really need it at our kid/family park & events?

Nice half mile track away from the road with a view of the woods from across the playing fields. Park offers many opportunities for fun, half mile track, skateboard park, playground, water park, Farmers Market; the list goes on and on. It could be improved with a separate longer bike track, but I'll take it! 😊

Have been coming here for years with my children. Even with all the children playing, it's still peaceful. Love the upgrades done in Summer '23.

Kids loved this park. It has an amazing amount of structures to keep them busy and engaged. It's size is it's biggest drawback, too. I wish there was a perimeter fence around it so kids dont wander off or creeps dont snatch them. Its hard to keep an eye on the kiddos especially if you have 2 or more.

Love this park. We drive from Novi to come here. It started with them having the good baby swings that seem so hard to find. Now my son is 15 months and runs all over the play structure. It's probably not designed for toddlers, but it's big enough for a parent to go almost anywhere with their smaller child. I just follow right behind him and he gets all the way to the top with no issue.

We will continue to take the time to drive down for an overall better park experience!

Love taking my son to play here. He like the splash pad and it's even better since they remodel it. Fun to pack a bag and go for the day or they have food available to purchase

Awesome skate park. My grandkids had a great time one on a bike and one on a skateboard. They are 8 and 6 years old and had a great time riding there.

Awesome playground. Lots of different things to climb on, different sizes of slides and swings, musical instruments to play. Good for all ages of kids.

Hidden Rocks to share some kindness all around water park and tree areas. Just placed 11 of them good luck finding them and don't forget to post on Westland Rocks Facebook page and keep rehide one of your own or the same one. 😀

We love this park! Me and my family picked up lunch and sat at the tables near the water fountain. Super relaxing and clean. Plenty of space so people aren't on top of each other. We saw multiple groups setting up for parties. The walking track can get kind of busy at times. Otherwise , great park and plenty of parking available.

Very beautiful park to walk through and play Pokemon Go. It has a small duck pond perfect for taking pictures. Plus another pond with a turtle! There is a splash pad for a fee (not sure how much), pavilion, and an indoor space that's great to host parties. The playground area is not only huge but it has some really cool slides that are different heights. I really love the mini food stand and the outdoor seating. Can't wait to go back!

Very beautiful park. You can spent nice time with your family or friends during this hot summer’s evenings. There are also a lot of stuffs for kiddos.

Huge awesome park, great place, right next to the police station so it's a very safe area. Splash pad is so cool, nice paved path to walk as well, top notch park in my opinion.

We brought my little cousin here to play. I was blown away with the size of the place. Lots of different obstacles and slides for the kids. Nice small zip line like obstacle as well.

This place is awesome 😀. My grandkids had so much fun I will definitely be going back!!

park has an awesome play area with lots to do for the kids. Also has a water park that is fun but you have to pay to enter.

I am a senior and this is a very pleasant place to walk for exercise both winter and summer. Paved paths with ponds and nice landscaping.

SUCH A FREAKING AWESOME PARK! Quite possibly my kids favorite in the Detroit area. Splash pad is pricey if you're not a Westland resident (we weren't, so we didn't pay $10/person), but there's plenty of park to make up for that!
