This place is absolutely legit! You want food with Mexican flavor and some flare? Look no further! Your taste buds will be watering over the grilled flavors. What started out as a fluke for date night has turned into our family's spot for great food and service. The prices are definitely reasonable and nothing on the menu we've tried has been a disappointment. It's all been fantastic, along with the wait staff and hostess. They have many different choices for children too. This includes the good old chicken fingers and fries so mom and dad can eat without issues.lol Remember to save room for dessert! Deep Fried Cheesecake with strawberry sauce is our favorite. We share between the 4 of us. Do you and your family a favor. Try "On The Border" tonight. You won't be disappointed you did.

We walked in at 8:50 PM, that's important in a little bit. We were greeted and immediately seated at a table in the bar area. The place was mostly empty, with a few tables and some people sitting at the bar.

Chips and salsa were bought to the table for my wife and me. The bartender was also our server, and she was prompt! We ordered avocado fries as an appetizer. I got the Big Borderrito made with chicken.

The kitchen was turning out hot and fresh food. Avocado fries were piping hot and our entrees were simply delicious!

We noticed that the restaurant was in cleanup mode, so we asked what time they were closing today. 9:00 was their new closing time!

Nobody looked at us funny for walking in the door 10 minutes before closing, no griping, and no snide remarks from anybody!

We apologized for our late arrival and she told us she was happy to have us dine with them tonight!

Awesome food, plentiful drink, excellent chips, and awesome dinners with friendly and professional service! Go check them out, but show up earlier than we did!

Very authentic delicious food, I was happy to find low calories options. Service was great too.

Big shout out to on the border in Westland for the two big bags of chips and salsa for my neighborhood block party!!!! I spoke to the manager and she was generous enough to donate some chips and salsa. We really appreciate it so much!!!It’s the little things❤ Also, I came here for the painting event and that was so much fun. That is such a great idea! I love the food and atmosphere here!! Highly recommend you guys😊

Great place, waitress was very knowledgeable about specials and had great suggestions. Prices were fair and food did not disappoint. Would definitely come back when in town.

I had a great experience all around. I ordered the chicken fajitas as usual it was delicious. My server was Jordan he was also the bartender. He was very attentive and a great customer service representative for this restaurant. Overall I give it an A+ rating 🙂

They have the nicest and fastest "chip boy" here! We sat down and boom, he was placing chips and salsa on our table so quickly!
Had an amazing time at this establishment! It was a bit busy, but that would be expected. We were out because it was my birthday and wanted to do something nice and different. Someone else paid for our meal, and the staff were really confused by it.

We had a wonderful time at On the Border. The music was upbeat and the atmosphere was nice and up beat. Our server Jeffery, was clearly a professional as he was on top of everything our drinks our appetizers our food our to-go boxes every aspect of dining. Our food came out and quickly. The floor manager made sure he came around and checked all of the tables and spark up brief conversation his name was chewy and he was very nice.

Busy New years and food was crazy fast ready for pick up. What a friendly crew of workers on hand even though they were stuck working NYE. They were super helpful and light hearted. Not to mention... THE FOOD WAS GREAT. Fantastic fajitas for 7 with all the fixings. Thanks for a great NYE 2019

Samantha was phenomenal! Very professional and knowledgeable, as well as kind. The food was absolutely amazing! I ate all my food at the restaurant. My wife had leftovers. Thank goodness because I just wanted to keep eating the food. I cannot wait to go again. I have to say it again, that food is exceptional and my compliments to the chef. I’m gonna buy 2 entrees next time to prolong the experience of what fine dining is all about.

I have been going here as long as I can remember. Love the food. Love the welcoming feeling everyone there gives off it really makes you want to come back.

The sever was really nice and drinks was tasty. The food was really good. I would come back.

Despite the was very short handed, the service was excellent. I had the Honey-Chipotle Shrimp tacos

We went as company group around 13 person and at that day there was only one waitress she did a great job serving everyone as fast as possible we didn’t wait for long time to get the food or the drinks and no mistakes with order the food quality the food was really good served hot and we have a great experience. I would highly recommend it. The only thing is I ordered cheesecake they could not serve it because it was frozen and because of the short staff they could not have somebody to do it and it was fine with me. I would still give them five star.

The food was quite tasty and great customer service will be most likely coming back

Savanah has been our server the last 2 times we ate at this location. She is very attentive and we received excellent service. She checked in the back and was able to find us some mild sauce which was very much appreciated. Thank you Savanah for a very enjoyable lunch! Hope to see you next time.

Me, my friend, in my 3 daughters was there. Amber And Mitch was amazing. Thank you so much for having great workers. and great cooks, we will definitely be back for my daughter. Birthday January 4th LOL.

Food was good, definitely recommend the brisket tacos. Southwest chicken tacos are also a favorite. The chips and salsa are better than a lot of Mexican places. Our waitress was polite. Our food came quickly and it was a good experience. We will always go here again.

This placed served some really good Mexican food. Service was really great would certainly come back.

The portions are HUGE. The food is good, too. The drinks are also humongous. I didn’t finish anything (And i normally finish everything)
