Jose consistently does a great job with my cut and color. Previous larger salons were taking another client during my color-processing time and would leave me processing for over 45 minutes, which wasted my time and may have contributed to the damage. In contrast, I am Jose's only client while I am there. My first appointment was over a year ago. The first appointment was long, but he took extra time to understand my overall hair goals, what was working, what made me unhappy with previous stylists, etc. It was a process, and because of a previous bad cut and multiple uneven red colors, it took a couple of months to truly start to see the difference. My cut now grows out great and styles well the entire time between (both curly and straight styles). I only get a cut every-other color. My hair is MUCH healthier than it used to be as well!

I had the same hair stylist for 10 years, and found Jose based on a word of mouth recommendation. As nervous as I was to trust someone else with my cut and color, Jose was a true professional and took the time to listen to what I wanted, and was able to blend my color perfectly. I will definitely be back again, and am so happy to have found a new stylist in Minnesota!

Jose is the best! He has been cutting my hair for over a year now, and his knowledge about curly hair is far better than any stylist I have had before. Jose saved my hair! I had a botched cut from a previous stylist, and he listened to what happened and to what I wanted my hair to look like, so he could understand what needed to be done. He explained everything he did along the way so I could know what was happening. He values educating his clients so they can get the best results tailored to their hair. Jose is just awesome! Been going to him for 2 years-he started cutting my hair prior to a cancer diagnosis. Then, he cut my wigs for me so they would look natural for me. I like that he always spends time with each client. It is real personalized service; the kind of service that makes you feel special. So glad he was recommended to me. He is the best!

Jose is the BEST! I just had my second haircut with him and he did just as great a job as last time. He really takes the time to listen and understand what cut you are looking for and will tweak it to best fit your face. He takes his time and doesn’t rush you in or out. Jose was over the top exceptional. He knew exactly what color would best match with my skin tone and the haircut was perfect. So when my hair grew out it would still look fantastic and still be manageable everyday. Jose has a lot of talent and I am so happy with the service. Jose is the only person who will cut and color my hair.

Jose is friendly, smart, thoughtful, and thorough! I highly recommend him for a good and careful cut and style. He carefully listened to what I was hoping for, and the result was wonderful. His goal is perfection. He made it very clear that I can voice my opinions and requests openly if there is something I want or do not like. Personally, I am sensitive to fragrances and some chemicals, so he let me inspect each product before he used it on my hair. He was very gentle on my hair, too! I am super pleased with his service, and I will be back! :)

Jose is an artist. He takes the time to really understand what I want (and delivers!), but still doesn't let me make dumb choices that would end in regret. He's cut my hair 3 times now, and all 3 times I've had 0 complaints.

Jose is a stylist who always does everything possible to make sure the client is satisfied. However, if you are a client like me who is unsure of the best style, Jose has a great sense and is willing to guide you so you look and feel fantastic. Jose is capable of styling a wide range of styles, and he does amazing colors. I highly recommend Salon Copala.

Jose of Salon Copala has been my hair stylist for almost a year now and I keep going back to him. He has great ideas and suggestions for what to do with my hair, takes the time to get every detail right, and shows me different ways to style it at home so it looks good every day.
