Tom is more than an agent he became a family friend. Tom is understanding and caring but you have to make sure you communicate. Tom helped me and my husband purchase a home and we just sold that home for a profit. We are looking to purchase another home and will be going back through Tom very soon. He was very open and honest. He even recommended and offered solutions to problems we were having during renovations and people he know. He is awesome. Mr. Thomas Epperson a Realtor & Landlord with this group is sketchy at best! My niece was interested in renting his home at 29840 Oakwood St. Inkster Mi. My niece does not have good credit & I was assisting her with the deposit. I met with Mr. Epperson on 12/4/17 to discuss my niece's chances of renting this home. Mr. Epperson required a good faith deposit of $775.00 just to hold the place while he checked my niece's credit. If she did not qualify he would only charge me a $25.00 fee for the credit check & return my $750.00. If my niece qualified to rent the property he would not only cash this good faith check but require an additional First & Last months rent & another Half month's rent. A total of $2,550.00 deposit to Rent a small bungalow in a not so great neighborhood! Regardless I was prepared to pay in order to help my family. Here's the kicker! We met with Mr. Epperson on 12/4/17. He promised he would give us a response no later than Thursday 12/7/17. Mr. Epperson has never responded & has continued to hold on to my $775.00 check! I texted Mr. Epperson on 12/11/17 asking for his decision. No response. My Niece also monitored Zillow & found he was still trying to rent the home for A higher price than his comittment of $750.00 per month to her. As of today 12/28/17 Mr. Epperson has still not responded to me & still has not returned my check! I again texted him this morning. As of this afternoon I have stopped payment on this check & will be reporting this Shyster to the better business burough. Shame on you Mr. Epperson. You are clearly praying on people who are in the most need of assistance. Your lack of integrity speaks volumes & you can be rest assured I will be sure not to recommend you as a Realtor or Landlord. And yes Sir. Do not assume the downtrodden are Stupid. I am a Landlord too.
