We absolutely love love Emma! Our son is 2 and she is so patient with him. We used to have Nubian and she left, so we switched to Emma and couldn't be happier. She is very sweet and friendly! Does exactly what we ask. She is fantastic with kids Mohawks! We won't go anywhere else!

Q was great! Kind and patient! Took my boys for their 1st haircuts, my 3 yr old has Autism and she took her time and kept him entertained, he did great! My 1.5 yr old was a bit Whiny and fidgety but she still did great with him! The salon is set up perfect for kids & we will be returning! Mrs. Casey was very pleasant as well 😊

They are absolutely amazing ! We have been here a few times and every time they NEVER disappoint. My son has autism and hair cuts are not his favorite every time they are patient and to my surprise they get the hair cut done even though I want to give up they also are pep talking me the whole time telling me “it’s okay mom “ “he will be okay “. Really I couldn’t put into worlds how much I appreciate this place and the fact they make haircuts fun for my kids is a bonus.
My daughters favorite part is picking out a ring and getting your nails painted ❤ would highly recommend and do recommend to all my friends and family.

Love Emma. My 4 year old has fallen in love with hair cuts since we found here. And today my mil took my girls in for cuts and they are wonderful. My youngest got a bang trim and from what I was told was not very cooperative. But it is absolutely stunning it looks so amazing thank you so much. You transformed my baby girl.

We went for my sons first haircut, and Melissa was amazing with him. She allowed him to feel the clippers first and let me play with any thing he wanted even her combs that he kept grabbing. She was extremely patient with him and she was very professional and made the experience fun for my son. She has definitely gained a client. I can’t wait to continue to take my son to her. Emma is amazing!! If you’re looking for a patient, caring, and skilled hairstylist-she is it!! I learned of her from a friend who takes her special-needs son to her to get his hair cut monthly. She is great at making kids feel comfortable and always makes sure the parent is satisfied! I tell everybody I know about her! She’s the best and will make your experience and your child’s experience one in a lifetime at Sharkeys! My kids love her to death!!! Definitely book with Emma, you won’t regret it!

I took my daughter there today for her fist haircut. She is 4 and was nervous. Melissa and The owner (I didn’t catch her name) where absolutely amazing with my little girl! She felt like a pampered princess. They where so patient with her (even fixing her manicure several times as she kept messing it up lol). I was very impressed with the salon itself, how attentive the staff is, cleanliness, friendliness…..and affordable! I definitely will be back (as my daughter has already made me promise lol).

I've taken my two boys here several times and they absolutely love it! My boys were nervous wrecks at every other place we've tried, and/or we just weren't satisfied with our experiences. But whenever I mention a trip to Sharkey's my boys genuinely get excited and don't stop asking about it until we go.

We've had Melissa (who no longer works there, sadly) and Emma (the owner/manager, I believe). Both have been professional, personable, and great with my boys. It's an enjoyable experience all 'round. We've never received the wash and blow dry that's stated in the service description, but I honestly can't complain or hold it against them - we've been late to 90% of our appointments, so it's most definitely my fault. One day we'll make it on time! I do have to say that they've always been quite forgiving about us being late, but I ALWAYS make sure to keep them updated via text or call. We've never been more than 10 minutes late though, and as an additional thanks for dealing with my chronic tardiness I always try to tip a little extra.

Even without the wash/dry, the price is still fully worth everything my boys receive! Cut, style, video game time, sucker, tattoo, balloon, a choice in who they'd like Sharkey to donate to - kids or animals - an enjoyable experience, and occasionally a couple of other little extras.

Overall, I recommend Sharkey's to anyone that I can. I'm so glad we found them! (Also, the Sharkey's hot chocolate scented shampoo/2-in-1 smells AMAZING!)

My daughter had a wonderful experience today with Emma; she was kind, patient and informative. Other staff in the office were also very friendly and helped me entertain my two younger children. My daughter loves her hair and manicure! Thanks again ladies!

Our twins had a good, the hair stylists were very good with them. They each got a locket of hair, a before and after photo, a ballon and a first time haircut certificate.

Melissa at Sharky’s is awesome! She’s very dedicated and friendly. I love how they celebrate first haircuts and how fun it is for kids. My girls both got their first haircuts here. Everyone is wonderful and they really make the experience extra special.

Melissa did an amazing job! She was friendly and a very good stylist. My daughter thought getting her nails painted after was so fun! Will definitely be back!

Got both of my kids hair cuts today with Q. She did a phenomenal job specially when my kids were scared she reassured them and was great with them!

We came to Sharkey’s for my daughters 6th birthday & she had an amazing time. She experienced the Day of Beauty with Nubian & she can’t stop talking about how much fun she had! All of the little touches make the experience worth the money & the fun that she had. Will definitely return & recommend to friends.

We recently had our second visit to Sharkey's and it was wonderful. My daughter has difficult to manage thick hair and Emma gave her the best haircut she's ever had. She loves that they offer to paint her nails - it's such a fun treat. Nubian did the haircuts for both my son and husband and she did a great job. She's very meticulous and asks questions to ensure that the customer is happy. Everyone was so nice and even though our first experience here was good, this was the visit that sealed the deal... we live a little farther out, but it's worth making the trip. We will definitely be back and we will specifically seek out these particular stylists.

This salon is the best children’s salon around! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They take pride in their work and take their time to understand each child’s needs. I will never go anywhere else.

Got both my kids' first haircuts here. Staff is very nice and the kids love the experience. Their package they offer for first haircuts is super cut too. Highly recommended.
