Zeitgeist is the most unique and creative venue. The best vibe ever! Staff, food, atmosphere is so wonderful. The movie theatre is my favorite and so beautifully run! Thank you, Zeitgeist!

Good movies, excellent movie theaters with comfy chairs and places to put drinks. Very helpful and friendly staff! The array of drinks is amazing, lots of popcorn with butter, yum

We have been enjoying all three venues that Zeitgeist has to offer and they have never disappointed. The restaurant always has great food and the service is second to none. The theater is always well done and professional and the cinema has the best movies.

Really nice little theater, does everything it should and has a nice atmosphere. Plus it ends up being cheaper than the name brand theater on a Friday or Saturday night.

Drove from Minneapolis to see a special screening of the remastered ‘Inland Empire’. The program director greeted everyone at the counter and we could tell there was a community of film-goers here. He said he even picked out the trailers specifically for the film, which is a cool touch. Great beer selection and the seats were comfortable! Would definitely support this place again!

Such a unique place! A relatively intimate setting with some interesting showings. Their concessions are a breath of fresh air, as well! Although a bit expensive, you might just get to try a sweet you've never had before! I had a $7 chocolate bar with cocoa nibs that was so rich and decadent ! Yum!

Such a great little indie theater. They don't have a parking lot but you can park on the street or they validate for a ramp 2 blocks away. It's always very neat and tidy and you can have an adult beverage during the film. It tends to be an older crowd that don't use their cell phones during the movies and the staff are super pleasant!

This is the second time we have been here, and once again, we were NOT disappointed! We were able to attend a showing of Willow here, and Winters Bone!!!! Each time has been a treasured memory! The ONLY bad part about it was that the popcorn was a bit salty. Otherwise, GREAT experience! If you get the chance, GO!!!! Thanks for a great night and a great new memory!!!! 💖👍😍🎉

The movies here are always awesome. the small area for seating makes it so there are no bad seats and you can really enjoy the movie. Be able to have Popcorn With REAL BUTTER not process oil of some type is one of it up sides along with the general atmosphere. I will always prefer here.

Duluth is so fortunate to have the trio of Zeitgeist businesses and Zeitgeist is lucky to have such a treasured place I the Duluth community. A wonderful theater with wonderful staff. They do not have the dream loungers that big name theaters do, but on a slow night, whoever's working is usually happy bring a refill of fresh popcorn directly to you or talk about upcoming community events.

I really miss the short lived time I had in beautiful Duluth. It was a stormy time of my life when I had the opportunity to try to find myself for the first time ever. Where was I? Of course at the Zietgiest, where I thoroughly enjoyed my first independent film festival and to this day…..words cannot express what an inspiring impact Ilhan Omars’ election film had on me personally. You go girl! That film inspired me to take a risk and get on a train across the country to follow my gut and my heart to carry the torch for something I believed in under the guise of one tough read.

That is the beauty of the special interest film, it touches your soul and the story line never leaves your heart or your memory. In the same building as the theater, they had a great weekend comedy gallery (hopefully they still do) and even an eclectic cocktail and “small bites” lounge. I highly recommend investing a Saturday night at this venue!

A sad note, I apologize I can’t give current info on this venue or Duluth. While I made the journey out west, my dear friend a native of Duluth lost her will to live. It was such devastating news for me following the death of my own family and several friends that I could simply never return. I would like to visit again under other circumstances. Please visit Zietgiest and support the arts.

One of my favorite places to go. Great films you won't find in the other theaters, the snack bar offers different choices and at much better prices than mainstream theaters, wonderful atmosphere and the goofy pre-show before the previews have to be experienced!

They always have a top notch selection of films playing. Have never regretted any of my experiences here. Grateful that they are offering virtual rental options during the pandemic.

I love this movie theater. Only two screens, they're almost always playing something that isn't in other theaters, and the tween crowd, who always try to convince you they're mom totally said they could watch the R rated movie but couldn't be there in person to buy them the tickets so could you please help out, aren't at Zinema. This place is for grownups, so grab a beer or glass of wine and go enjoy a movie made for people who aren't interested in texting with their besties through the whole thing.

Great place to see a movie in Duluth. What is better than having a great beer selection along with the popcorn? Wide screen with comfortable seats. Theater is connected to a very good restaurant.

My favorite movie theater mostly because of the indie films it hosts. Lots of movies that are usually far off the beaten track for the average theater. Beer is a plus and the projectors have never seemed off!

A complete evening of fun all in one building, wonderful dining with terrific food along with either one of the 2 movie theaters or take in a play live on stage. I highly recommend for a great date night.

Terrific small theater with great selections of indie films and other movies that haven't been on the big screen for many years. Highly recommend!

Nice intimate place without the hustle bustle and noise of a big theatre. Still feels big on the screen. Nice change from the "top 40" type theatres.
