Boat Club Restaurant

My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He had the corned beef hash, and I have the walleye sandwich with clam chowder. The clam chowder was amazing and much flavor and each ingredient was done to perfection painful breading on the walleye sandwich was perfect! We have a perfect view of Lake superior and the ambiance was spectacular!

The food was amazing, the service was even better! We went here tonight for an anniversary dinner, It wasn’t planned, we made reservations an hour beforehand. The NY strips were amazing, great flavor, they looked hand trimmed with a nice fat cap but not overly thick, and grilled to perfection. Crab Oscar was pretty good, could have used a little more seasoning, but with the steak, it was a great combination. Potatoes and Shrimp were also cooked very well. And they surprised us with a delicious happy anniversary desert! Ben the waiter was great, took a bit to warm up to tables, but by the time we left he was smiling and joking with all his tables. Christina the FOH manager came out to check on the food and service, which was great to see.

They definitely have the service dialed in, and the food was amazing! We will be back! Thanks for a great anniversary dinner

Fitger’s Hotel restaurant with lake views, full menu, bar, and open all day. We recently stayed at Fitger’s and appreciated having a nice restaurant in the lower level with lake views and a bar, open late.

This restaurant hit the spot to celebrate the end of a successful event. Food was fantastic and the wait staff was knowledgeable on our questions. I will definitely be back when I'm in Duluth again.

Great place, delicious food and awesome service! We enjoyed several items from the brunch menu, and took advantage of the outdoor (lake-side) seating during a beautiful 80° afternoon! Wonderful menu and overall experience! Thank you, we'll be back! 😁👌

Amazing view. Excellent food. Visited on our honeymoon and were so pleased! Special shout out to Miranda for making our first experience there really wonderful and special🥰 we ordered seafood trio and NY strip. We both added the crab leg clusters as well.

We just enjoyed a wonderful Boat Club brunch, celebrating Easter and our 27th anniversary. The lobster & crabby benedicts were delicious, and the dessert was both unexpected and tasty. (The cocktails were great, too--I just didn't think to take pics.) Miranda's friendly manner and thoughtful service made our dining experience truly extraordinary. Thank you!

What an amazing experience. Our waitress Sam was absolutely perfect. The service was impressive and the food even more so…and the view was unbeatable. Sam’s recommendations were spot on. We had the seafood trio, lemon and ricotta ravioli, crab artichoke dip and a bottle of house white, and we will certainly be returning.

My fiancé and I are local to the area and we love this restaurant! We come in about once a month, more lately since the menu has been changing. As a foodie, I AM OBSESSED.
The food is always good, we have never been disappointed with anything.
The service is great, they are very on top of filling your water glass ( lol!)
We have no complaints.
Their special dinners, comedy nights, and theatre are some of the many reasons we keep coming back!

We really enjoy Boat Club. We went there for the first time last year and were very happy with our choice. Food is exactly made at price point, atmosphere is pleasant, not loud. Service is professional and pleasant. The view of lake superior is nice and the location at Fitgers is fun.

Our server was friendly and accommodating, her drink recommendations were excellent. The food was deliciously rich (the scallops are a must-try!) and the pop-overs were a fun surprise that came with our meals.

A wonderful restaurant hidden away next to the lake. The view is amazing. Watch out for the seagulls. There are some lawn games you can play while waiting for your meal. Food was some of the best we have had. Wait staff was doing the best they can. The kitchen is really far away. Meals take a while to come out. So order drinks and an appetizer solves the entree wait. A few more seasons and this restaurant with be 5 stars and have a line out the door. We were lucky we got to experience it before everyone crowds this gem.

I love going to the Boat Club. The food is always prepared so thoughtfully, and plated beautifully. The service is consistently friendly, efficient and professional. It is truly one of my favorite
restaurants in Duluth.
When making reservations on Open Table, it might be helpful to remind folks that their time is limited to an hour and a half. One of the hosts came over after we had chatted 10 minutes after paying our bill to remind us that we had been there an hour and 40 minutes and there was another reservation in place. (This was the 3rd time I have had this occur. I should remember this, but sometimes I do not look at the time as often as I should.)
It would lessen an awkward situation (both for your host and clientel) if listed on Open Table or posted at the table that customers have one and a half hour. I will be more cognizant of the time limit the next time I dine at Boat Club. Thank you.

The Minnesota old fashioned was flavorful and strong! The crab artichoke dip was also really good. The only complaint was the steak did not come out at the right temp, but it was flavorful and they offered to remake it. I opted not to, so they comped the drinks instead.

I was looking for King crab. I found it. It was exactly what I was looking for. We were underdressed and they still let us dine. Fantastic.

Never really thought about combining fresh walleye and scrambled eggs, but boy, am I glad I ordered this dish! Home fried potatoes, sautéed spinach, wild mushrooms, and pickled red onion made this the perfect breakfast.

Delicious breakfast, happy hour, dinners… beautiful views! Great service. I used to not have a favorite restaurant in Duluth and now I do. Highly recommend!

I have been to restaurants in Chicago, NYC, Los Angeles and this place is wonderful. Great views of Lake Superior and amazing food and service. You aren't going here to score a deal on food so head on over to Applebee's if you're on a budget.

Delicious meals at the Boat Club. All dishes were served in good portions and made with quality ingredients. Also, most tables have a view towards the lake. I recommend the butternut squash ravioli with grilled salmon!

It is a very nice place with lake view, especially from the balcony. Super friendly and nice team. I've tried only crab dip with pita and chicken. Everything was good and it seems like local gulls also like this place 😂 got some food flying while I was taking pictures 😃
