Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Duluth

Love everything!! Only don’t like the little flashing light of the smoke detector(?) at night, but truly, everything else is wonderful!!! The front desk lady is incredibly sweet- I brought her a fresh refill of gnocchi and breadsticks ♡ great place to stay, great workers, great water, great breakfast! At first was sad we didn’t choose the Fairfield by the big lake, but soooo glad we ended up choosing this location on accident:)!!

Friendly staff, easy to get checked in and out, pricing is reasonable and the location is terrific. If you just want some quick wings, Buffalo Wild Wings is an easy walk to go pickup an order. If you're looking to eat over at the Miller Hill Mall however, I'd suggest driving despite how close it is. That's a really busy road and you'll get across it much easier to find your food of choice.

My husband and I did some late Christmas shopping at the Miller Hill Mall and decided to stay the night last minute. Fairfield Inn was wonderful to work with. Molly at the front desk was so professional, kind and helpful and she helped secure one of the last rooms left. The room was very clean, super comfy bed and the best pillows, a huge shower and a top notch continental breakfast. We will stay here next year for sure. Thank you for making our stay in Duluth a fun, holiday weekend!

I had a great check in by staff. They offered to refresh my room, during my week long stay. Overall atmosphere is really good. Bed great, TV great, shower is hot. Only thing was the coffee, only decaf was in the room...but thats nothing. Clean, comfortable and quiet,

Great, new place to lay your head. Family of five stayed here one night and were placed into Suite 217 (two queen beds + sofa bed). The room was very spacious and clean.

Kids used the pool, and though small, was in good condition.

The complimentary breakfast was very good and had decent options.

The service at the front desk was friendly.

Very unusual welcome from the desk clerk. "Happy belated birthday!" Apparently he and I share the same day, albeit by over 50 years separation.

The hotel was right where I needed one and the room was comfortable. The breakfast section was adequate but I ate sparingly. The coffee was good.

Unfortunately we were in town for a funeral but this location was great. Everything was clean, comfortable & very environmentally friendly. the staff was also very friendly and kind. The complimentary breakfast had a variety of options from gluten free & items that were easy to grab & go. Location was nice because it was near a lot of stores & had everything we needed. If we are ever in Duluth again, I would stay here!

It's not by the water, but it's easy to get to. Staff was so upbeat and friendly! Great breakfast, beautiful room. Thank you for making our 35th anniversary so pleasant!

Absolutely amazing stay! Thank you Fairfield Inn for such nice, clean rooms. And I want to send a special thank you to Daniel the general manager, who was absolutely awesome, even moved his personal vehicle so my wife and I would have a parking spot close to the hotel entrance. Thank you, thank you! I highly recommend this hotel.

What a great place to stay! It’s a smaller hotel but the amenities are great. The pool is on the smaller side but perfect for our young children. The breakfast was in my top 10 of continental breakfast experiences. The whole hotel is new as of Feb 2021, so the whole place feels new and looks new. The rooms are fairly standard sized but the bathrooms are luxxe- great size and lovely new showers (didn’t have tub in our room). Close to the mall and some good eats, and if you know Duluth, most attractions are within a 10 minute drive.

I will 100% stay here again!

Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable beds

Service was great. Very attentive. Breakfast was free with eggs, sausage or bacon, rolls, coffee, and cereal.

Inn is 1 year old and everything looks great. Would have liked to have another chair in the room, though.

Katie was great and the hotel was very clean and kept up nicely. The breakfast was really good!

The front desk lady during our stay was awesome. She was super polite/accomodations and even took a couple moments to talk to my kids about Pokemon/etc.

Rooms weren't anything crazy fancy but they were clean and exactly what we needed.

Breakfast is your standard hotel faire, so no complaints there either.

Definitely one of the Fairfield Inns I have stayed at, and we'll be back this winter for sure.

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend and had a few minor issues during our stay and Dan who was working at the front desk was INCREDIBLY helpful and kind! He resolved every issue immediately with complete professionalism and kindness. We look forward to staying here again and recommend to all traveling to Duluth.

Good location, nice&clean, comfy bed, big TV, and good service. Shower was nice too. Just what we expected and we’ll be sure to stay here again when in town. 5 stars!

Really nice clean rooms. The continental breakfast was awesome. The staff seemed really happy to see you and wanted to help anyway they could to make sure your stay was perfect.

Amazing experience , coming back to this hotel for sure, very clean and comfortable room , exceptional services from the front desk person very professional and friendly. They made our stay a very memorable one.

Nice chill place with super friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty solid and left me ready to face the day. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Duluth.
