The wild rice chicken salad was a pure delight! The creamy yet light dressing complemented the fruit and rice perfectly!

It was fantastic. Really enjoyed our time and the food was very good 😋our waitress was excellent. Exactly what we needed before our 2 1/2 hr drive to Minneapolis. We will definitely be back.

For some real food, large portions, pleasant atmosphere, stop here! Reasonable priced. Had the Walleye lunch menu, and the fish was perfect! Waitress staff super friendly, assistant manger always making sure your food is just right. Family friendly and a convenient location.

Grandma's is a great place to eat with family or friends or both. There is something on the menu for everyone and per the dozen people I went with, everyone enjoyed their food. The quirky props and knickknacks along with the very friendly staff makes Grandma's a great place to gather. While everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals, I failed to capture pictures. Partly because our group was large, 13 actually, and partly because I get lovingly picked on for writing Google reviews. In this case, I took a picture of my Chicken Pot pie, something I myself make at home for friends, and it was delicious. Service was excellent as well. If I lived in Duluth, I would visit more often.

We started out with the Famous Onion Rings which where huge and so crispy when they brought them out!! I got the Original Bicycle Burger and added bacon lettuce and tomato to it because it doesn't come with the lettuce and tomato and my husband got the Steak Cheese French Sandwich and both were amazing!! Took home leftovers and had dinner that night and still tasted great after heating it up in the toaster oven!!! I'm telling you so much food even my husband had to finish my leftovers lol 😂

The manager here is great, truly a “above-and-beyond” type of guy. Foods great, service is excellent, love the atmosphere, outdoor patio is great too!

A little noisy, but nice environment. The staff could have been more attentive to us but they were friendly and acceptable. The food was delicious

Visiting from out of town & staying in a nearby hotel. Rainy night; wanted someplace close by. I ordered the daily special thinking it would be a smaller portion but was truly surprised! Portions were huge! The place seemed very cold (but that might have been due to the dampness.)

Best food I've tried during my travels from Texas, our waiter Shane suggested a special and it was so good.

Now this place i wish I could rate higher. They have really good food! The portions are huge (I ordered a small and it was way more than enough! and they do not disappoint on the flavor! My ONLY complaint is the sauce I got on my dish was a teeny bit salty. Other than that I'd eat here every day if I could. Definitely will be stopping by again if im ever in the area.

They have inside dining & patio dining. Great atmosphere. We ordered onion rings, Chicken Raspberry salad & Chicken Tetrazzini, it was all wonderful. Will return if ever back up this way.

The wild rice stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer were the best decision ever!! So delicious!

This is a really homey diner, reminds me a lot of when I was growing up. Now that I have kids of my own, it is comforting to come to a place that reminds me of my grandparents. I was surprised by the fast service. The only weird thing was the bread on the chicken pot pie, it was a harder Naan or something. If you're like me, though, and like to soak the pastry in the contents, I'd say it's just as good.

And the wings? If you order spicy... they'll be *spicy*. I could smell the spice from across the table.

I got the Monty Cristo sandwich which was both good and disappointing. I thought I had finally found a restaurant that used gram cracker crust, but unfortunately it was just batter dipped. So it was just decent. The service was great though.

Edit: was told they do use gram cracker as a finishing before deep frying so i have since bumped up the food stars and chalked it up to just not seeing or tasting it.

Grandma's is a Duluth tradition and is worth checking out. Was too long a wait when we stopped on Friday night but got right in on Sunday. The French onion soup was perfect, sweet and savory with lots of cheese! Had the seasonal schnitzel sandwich and it was also very good. Fun atmosphere and friendly service topped it off.

Jack was a great server! Our hostess was super nice and helped diffuse a Karen situation

Lily was a great server! She talked to me about the cider I chose from the draft list, even having 10 plus tables. The food was excellent. Would come back for sure!

just visiting the area and happened to stop in. The food was great. Samantha recommended the bent paddle cold stout with a scoop of ice cream. I was skeptical but gave it a try. Wow!! what a great idea.
