What a fun and delicious experience! We came here with a friend to introduce her to Indian food, and couldn't have picked a better place. We loved it, she loved it, and we will hopefully be coming back again soon!

At Namaste India Grill in Roseville the chai tea is authentic, made with spices and milk! The butter chicken was rich and delicious. The naan was fresh and tasty.

This was the first time that I've eaten here, and I highly recommend the place.

As I don't have much experience with Indian food, I just ordered a few random things on the menu.

The Golgappe was interesting, but I don't think I'd get it again. Flavorful, but a little messy getting the food into the little shells. Again, take this with a grain of salt as I'm pretty unfamiliar with Indian cuisine.

The Tawa Chicken was incredible. I'm usually a bit hesitant to get anything with thighs, as sometimes you get chewy bits which just kills my appetite. THESE chicken thighs were just fantastic, though. Extremely soft and full of great flavor.

Definitely stop here if you have a chance.

This food slaps. If you like Indian food, you must try it, if you've never had Indian food, you must try it. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was very attentive. And the food came out quickly. We will be returning here.

It was SO delicious. It’s my favorite place to eat Indian food. They have vegetarian options and lots to choose from! They have shows that play on the tv and nice seating. I really love it! It also has nice staff and fast service. The chai is so authentic and has free refills. They give you different kind of sugars to choose from. For the food they always give all the dipping sauces!

As a Punjabi Indian and someone from NY with a taste for quality, this is one of the best authentic Indian restaurants in the country. The service is with a smile, with great recommendations and passion. The food is superb and recommend the mini roti, Maki roti and sagh, vada sliders and the dehi puri! Incredible experience.

I think Indian food can sometimes get a bad wrap, but I find that it's just a matter of finding the restaurants that are doing it right and using fresh ingredients. Most of my Indian food experiences were from friends from India sharing their favorite foods or cooking it myself. I believe this is the first time I have actually eaten Indian food at a restaurant, and it did not disappoint!

I saw the street foods were highly recommended when looking through the reviews so I went with the Dahi Puri and the Amritsari Chole Kulche. I would say the Dahi Puri ranked pretty high on being one of the best things I have ever eaten. They were bursting with all sorts of flavors and you could taste the freshness in the ingredients. The mint chutney and spices came through nicely in each bite. I also found the yogurt to be a definitive taste in these bites. Regardless, each ingredient played a key role in making these so delicious and you could still identify everything going on without there being an overpowering flavor.

For the Amritsari Chole Kulche, I was worried it was going to be to spicy when I was told it was a medium on the spice scale. I know Indian food can get pretty spicey, and I am not a spicey food person. However, it had more of a mild heat to it versus burning your mouth and ruining the dining experience if you don't prefer the spice. The pindi chana masala that came with the leavened bread reminded me almost of a variation on chili. The spices and flavors were upfront in this dish and it was pretty good. You could also chose to eat the bread with the chickpea dish, mint chutney, or tamrind chutney making each bite unique.

Stumbling upon restaurants tucked away in strip malls has yet to prove me wrong. From the food, to the cleanliness, to the attention to detail in the food, it's hard not to give this place a shot. Personally, I would definitely come back here to try more authentic indian food!

This place has the best makki ki roti-sarso ka saag! Lots of dishes that are worth exploring. The North Indian cuisine is a must try and they have some really good Indian booze options to choose from. Don't forget to try the authentic vada pav as well! On the whole, it's a really good place to check out if you ever make it to Minneapolis

This place is hopping! We bopped in on a Friday night - and wow. Be prepared to wait. They took our name and cell, then we headed to the nearby caribou coffee for pre dinner tea and chat. 30 minutes later we got our call and headed over. Well staffed, and very busy. There is a lot of to go orders - it was so nice to see an Indian restaurant busy! We loved the options and really enjoyed our meals. Definitely will be back.

A nice Indian restaurant with authentic flavors and large quantities of food.
Do not miss the iconic taj mahal beer to start your meal .
We were a party of six and got the vegetable platter , channa kulcha , chicken 65 , and the tawa chicken along with a lot of indian bread .
To end our delicious journey, we got some ras malais and kesar kulfi .
Everything was so delicious but make sure you order less as the quantity of the food is a lot .
Highly recommended if you are in the MSP area

I have been here many times now and whether you are dining in or taking out, it is always worth the wait.

Follow everyone’s suggestion to try the Amritsari Chole Kulche. It’s not too spicy for most and a great foray into Indian vegetarian and street food.

My personal favorites are the mysore dosa and jalebi. So many different textures playing together in the dosa, and the crispy crepe is always delicious.

This restaurant has been very busy lately but I can see why. If you have to wait, I promise it will be worth it!

I was able to visit this restaurant back in October and absolutely loved it. I’d never actually eaten Indian food before and the server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu and able to make excellent recommendations. While I have nothing to compare when it comes to other Indian style food, this was incredible and I will definitely be back. I was also impressed and pleasantly surprised at the beer selection, if you’re looking for some unique brews there is something for people of all tastes!

I have never had better service than at this restaurant. The waiter was super attentive our drinks were always filled and he even brought rice when he saw we were running low. Got our food and drinks so fast. Everyone looked happy working there and all of the families dining in were so happy too! I saw zero phones out. We got the chicken tikka masala and salmon tikka masala, sooooo delicious! My toddler was so happy to be there too and the waiter was so attentive to him as well and got him smiling. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive!!

This place has risen to top spot for us when it comes to Indian food in Minneapolis/St. Paul. If you are eating/ordering one thing, its got to be Amritsari Kulcha, One of the best things I have eaten in cities, if you like spicy food go for level 4 but if not stick to lower numbers like 2 or 3. This place has real spice scale so be very careful if ordering 4s or 5s. Next few dishes we ordered and enjoyed were Saag and Makki ki roti, sambhar dosa which were top notch too. A few curries we ordered were pretty average, so I recommend stick to street food and you will walk out loving this place.
