Yianni's Greek Taverna

Really glad we found this spot and loved the food, which definitely felt very authentic and gave us all the good feelings from our trip to Greece last fall. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good. We will definitely be back again - everything was delicious!!!

This place is excellent. The grilled octopus was fantastic. Gyros were big,fresh & delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices very reasonable. Byob. Will be coming back often.

Having lived in Greece, this is the Best Greek food I have eaten in the states! The Buthchers sampling of meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection! Best Greek salad and it must be the Greek olive oil that makes all the difference! The only addition would be Jersey tomatoes when in season. Let's not forget the Greek french fries. Large portions so no room for dessert this time around. I'll Be Back! L. Fernandez

Best Greek I have had in a long long long time. Immaculately clean, home style dining area. The food was authentic and worthy of a return trip. This restaurant will go on my favorites list for sure. Great great great 👍👍👍

The food is worth the wait!

Food here is fantastic, been here over a dozen times, the sandwiches come out great, and the meals have great portions, the lamb is cooked tender and the sauces are just the right complement.

It's a BYOB so its a great place for dinner. The owner will have coffee soon so we are excited for that with some great traditional desserts.

So far we have tried the chicken, lamb, bifteki, and the lamb filet kabobs and also the Lamb and Orzo.

You seriously cannot miss a classic Greek joint like this.

What a pleasant little surprise this place is! Who would’ve thoughts from the outside that this establishment would be as awesome as it was! The team here is super accommodating and friendly. The food here is tasty too. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend visiting. Strip mall Greek food is the best Greek food! Long live Yianni’s!!

Mauricio is amazing! So attentive and helpful. The food is also super flavorful and delicious. Greek chips are a must! The seafood is so tasty here. Beautiful and simple atmosphere inside.

One of the best Greek spots around the jersey shore! Definitely try the chicken kebab sandwich, it is my absolute favorite, very fresh, tasty and satisfying!

This is a beautiful neighborhood restaurant that your heart keeps calling you back to visit. The food was fresh, flavorful and plentiful. The kind of food that makes you want to do the happy chair dance while smiling and closing your eyes so you can focus on the flavor.The atmosphere is casual. The people accommodating and kind.

The food is amazing, especially the classic dishes, and portions are plentiful. The owner has many duties, so it can get hectic, but good atmosphere. The Lamb and Orzo was especially good.

Great food.... atmosphere..staff..went for lunch yesterday .. spanakopita and gyro sandwiches... top shelf.. excellent ( we remember the great greek tavernas in downtown NYC. .. so we know excellent) This was excellent... the gentleman in the front who served us and the staff were all very friendly and professional ... very comfortable and warm atmosphere (we saw the kitchen it was pristine, and the rotisserie.. big points in my opinion).. we highly recommend( and we often don't agree on restaurants)!!

My wife and I shared an incredible meal with our aunt and uncle at Yianni's. Maurico took great care of us. The food and service was outstanding. The grape leaves, fresh beets, fried eggplant, fried zucchini , Hummus, and tzatziki sauce were all the best we have ever had. We shared the meat sampler meal and our family shared a seafood combo. My uncle raved about the octopus and calamari. The best he ever had! The only negative is the hvac system was not working so it was hot in there. Even with the weather being 76 degrees out, it was hot in the fining area. If the hvac isn't working when you are there you may want to get the food to go, but then you will miss out on the great service. Next time we are in town we will be back. If you like Greek food, you will really enjoy your meal here.
