Dough Boy's Gourmet Pizzeria

Was only in town for 1 night for a concert. We wanted a great pizza before the show and found this gem online. After reading the reviews, there was no reason to look any further. Stopped in to pick up our pie and met the owner. Super nice, cares about quality, service and satisfaction. What more could you ask for?!? The pizza was phenomenal and exactly what we were hoping for. Thank you for a stellar pie. Highly recommended!!!

Small, family owned pizzeria.. with an own that picks the freshest and best ingredients around. Good sports vibe, owner is a huge animal lover too. I'll forever recommend them.. I travel 25min just to do a pick and then 25 back to enjoy 🤫

We usually take out and whenever we get there a little late the pizza is still nice, fresh and hot—the pizza and wings are always nice and crispy fresh out of the oven—the service is super fast and the atmosphere literally feels like you are inside your own home! It has a whole living room set up with a tv, couch, fireplace, table etc..you name it! They are big on sports at doughboys which I very much appreciate! All the employees are so sweet and understanding. I want to thank you personally Joe for catering my graduation party come July! My family loves your service very much! Thank you for being so kind! We love you Joe!

The calzones here are HUMONGOUS! my bf and I tried this place for the first time and we were blown away at the size. We could have easily shared one calzone and have leftovers to take to lunch the next day for both of us. Delivery was prompt and the driver was super nice and had a great attitude. 40/40 will go there again!

I'll start by saying the food was delicious and the staff were extremely nice. It's the best pizza my family has had in the area and the closest we've had to NYC pizza.

Order: We ordered the Bella Grey and the New Yorker.

Flavor: The New Yorker was simple but delicious with bits of roasted garlic. I like garlic and would like more roasted garlic than the bits that were on there, but the flavor was still good. The bread also tastes like bread rather than cardboard that seems to be common in the area. The Bella Grey was good, but it came with Alfredo sauce that seemed a bit light on the parmesan. Toppings were a bit spread, but it seems like either a little more toppings or more parmesan would have fixed that.

Crust: The dough in the center gave in when picked up and the dough closer to the edge of the crust was more solid. I would like more toppings, but I understand that the pizza wouldn't hold together. For those that care about the toppings sliding off, you would need a thicker dough. With that said, the slice held together when folded which solves most issues with NYC style pizzas. I personally don't care if the crust can hold everything, I will always prefer more toppings.

Quality: There seems to be some care put into the dough in terms of how the dough was made and how it's cooked. A stone oven is used and the result is a crust that tastes like bread.

Staff: The staff were friendly over the phone and in store. Over the phone they were asked if we had ordered from them before, explained their restaurant, and mentioned their 'A' health inspection rating. In store, they explained how they made the pizzas which is what sets them apart from the other pizzarias. The owner also mentioned that if we wanted to get our pizza extra crispy, we just needed to ask. The crispiness is made to order.

Despite my concerns with flavor, everything else made the experience a good one. I rounded my score up to a five since I can't give it a 4.7 and giving a rating of 4.0 wouldn't be fair in this case.

I will be ordering from here again.

Excellent pizza. Was delivered 20 minutes before expected. Was hot. Ingredients chopped small and were fresh and crunchy. Dough was fresh and very tasty.

Had a Memorial Weekend last minute gathering with some friends in B'ville. My wife was panicking because she didn't have time to make a dish to pass. I said "Have No Fear, Dough Boy's has our back..." and they so so did!

Ordered a bunch of Aglio Pizzas... let's just say that plenty of burgers and hotdogs were left, but not a crumb of the pizza!!! I am not exaggerating when I post that this was the best garlic style pizza I (and my friends based on their feedback) have ever eaten.

This was the first time we ordered from here. Boneless wings were very crispy and the butter garlic was just right. We also had the chicken ranchero and the amount of chicken was on point and flavors were good. Delivery was faster then expected (was told 60 min, had it here in 30). Will order again in the future.

We have been ordering pizza for delivery for over a year now. What we love the most are the fresh ingredients. My wife must have fresh mushrooms not canned. Our usual order is a Supreme Pizza with fresh mushrooms, onions and green peppers on the whole pizza and pepperoni and hot sausage just on half for me. It is consistently great. Their estimate for delivery is usually right on the money. We highly recommend.

Yes there is dozen pizza shops in town but Joe really cares about his customers, best strombolli in CNY

Last night we had a accident in front of our shop that caused absolute chaos to say the least. Between traffic being completely blocked on this road to the phones ringing off the hook, the owner Joe, myself and 2 other amazing employees got right to work. We apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you and for the extended wait time. We all worked together to do our best and cannot say enough how much we appreciated every single customer that was understanding of this incident.

Many customers were worried about the ladies in the accident; after being brought to the hospital the girls were okay!

The owner Joseph and his mother were very friendly. The food is amazing! I highly recommend you try it, if you haven't already. We need more restaurants like this. Your not just a customer, they treat you like family. Great Job Doughboy 👏 I will definitely go back!

Great NYC style pizza, probably the best we ever had in the B’ville area. My wife’s family from NYC loves this place and we get it for them when they come to town.

Easily one of if not the best pizzeria here in CNY. Food is excellent, staff is top notch and the atmosphere is relaxing. Truly feels like home when you're enjoying a good meal with family here.

I have been a long time customer and order very regularly. I have yet to get food that I don’t absolutely LOVE! The ingredients are fresh and high quality! The taste is always consistent and deliveries are timely and drivers are always pleasant. Highly recommend this place. The Philly steak gourmet pizza is my favorite!!! The owner does a great job all the way around.

I just been there coule days ago it dose't looks like restaurant from outside but inside is very good I wold recomended to take out or delivery cuse I did't see any table outside maybe in the future but most importent think is food is great

The meatballs are amazing! Hand rolled from scratch with fresh ingredients, and they taste like it ! It feels like a special dinner when I order a meatball Parmesan or any of their hot subs. Plus wings & salads for a crowd. We are so lucky to live nearby.
