My husband and I went last night for restaurant week and we had an amazing time. Our waitress Sierra was awesome, incredibly nice and attentive, we really couldn’t have asked for better service. The food was all delicious, well seasoned and proportioned for the 3 course dining week special and everything tasted amazing. For a place that emphasizes garlic in their dishes, nothing was overpowering, it was all very well balanced. We really had no complaints with our experience. They even accidentally poured us 2 of the same beer and instead of keeping it or wasting it, they gave it to us for free along with the one we ordered (now this probably doesn’t happen often but we gladly accepted the mistake :)). I would highly recommend, especially the chicken and chokes!

Had been to lunch with my family on valentines day, our server was so friendly took good care of us the entire time. We enjoyed the wings they were finger licking good, we had the Bee's burger and cat fish tacos they were delicious and so fresh. Definitely recommend this place to everyone if you are near by syracuse and Baldwinsville area. Ambience was good too. All in all great experience!!

So the restaurant is VERY small and seems cramped due to the limited space, but they make the most of the area with properly spaced tables and putting them at angles to allow a bit more seating than parallel slots and there is adequate seating at the full-service bar, so even if there isn’t an available table you can still sit at the bar and order from the entire menu.

We were seated extremely promptly despite the restaurant being packed at 6:30pm on a Sunday evening, but that was also due to serious luck that there wasn’t any reservations ahead of us and a table got up right as the hostess was telling us it was going to be a little bit of a wait. Our server, Jessica, came over immediately after we were seated with waters and to introduce herself. Jessica was fantastic the entire night, extremely pleasant to talk to and very engaging about the menu and just fun to be around. There aren’t enough servers in the world like her, to be honest.

We started off initially with the Garlic Cheese Dip appetizer. The dip had a great flavor, but it could have been a touch hotter and crispier bread for our preferences. We still ate the entire thing and loved it, but if it was hot, it would have been perfection in a dish instead of the kinda hot dip we got. No complaints from either of us in the end.

We were going to order our entrées when Chelsea realized they had PB&J wings available and, despite not being a chicken wing person, really wanted to give those a shot because of how ridiculous of a concept peanut butter and jelly wings are. So we ordered those at the same time as our entrées and they actually came out before, which was nice. I’m genuinely angry at those chicken wings. They were PERFECTLY crispy and moist throughout. Honestly the best cook on a chicken wing I have experienced when dining out. The sauce was very weird, purely because you expect savory or spicy when eating chicken wings, and instead we were greeted by warm, sticky house-made grape jelly sauce and peanut butter drizzled wings. The flavors were wild and it was genuinely tasty.

For an entrée, Chelsea got their Chicken Salad Wrap. The flavor was mild on the garlic mayo, which was nice to not get absolutely rocked with an overwhelming aioli like some recipes make. Overall, it was a relatively simple chicken wrap but still very good and something she would order again. The house-fried potato chips that come with all sandwich items by default were also delicious with a really nice salty, peppery, garlicy flavor and wonderful crunch.

My entrée was the Cat Fish Tacos. Now, I’m PICKY with cat fish overall, but I have been spoiled by eating authentic southern fried catfish in Alabama. This cat fish was a solid contender for top 5 cat fish I have ever had, fourth only to the Irondale Cafe in Birmingham, Alabama, my own and Southern Fare in Oswego, New York. Perfect crunch, perfect cook, perfect flaky texture. 10/10 execution on the cat fish. Now you go and add all of the accoutrements and you have an absolutely beautiful plate. I got weak in the knees at the first bite of the cat fish and the roasted corn salsa gave a nice, cool, sweet flavor to go along with the crunch of the romaine and mild heat from the garlic chipotle cream. Once again, perfectly crunchy and seasoned house chips came as the default side.

Overall, we had a great meal and wonderful night out at Angry Garlic. Parking is a pain due to the lack of a parking lot in the heart of Baldwinsville, so plan ahead. A reservation during busier times is a good idea to try and alleviate any wait time you may have before being seated as there isn’t ANY room inside the door to wait without blocking the entrance/exit, but there is a set of benches in the back dining area to wait at if they aren’t already taken. Staff all around were extremely pleasant, with Jessica being a major standout. Modern, trendy decor and beer/cocktail selections and delightful food all based around various ways to eat garlic. 10/10, we will absolutely be back for further meals and to try more of the menu.

I absolutely love it here and this is a must eat location in the Syracuse area. You must make a reservation or will suffer long wait times, but even if you don’t, the wait is worth it.

I was recommended to come here to eat and happy I did! The restaurant was busy on a Thursday night and very lively. Our server was also the bartender and she did a great job with how busy it was.
We both got burgers and quite throughly enjoyed them. The patties and thick, juicy, and flavourful. The fries were fresh and crispy with a great garlic flavour.

If you’re looking for the lighter fare, I highly recommend the garden salad with their citrus ginger dressing!

Fish fry Friday is such a treat here! Crispy, light batter on perfectly cooked fish. You can hear the crunch with each bite. We sat in front by the windows, very pleasant place. Husband enjoyed his burger too, multi levels of flavor. Delicious food and great service!

As they say "better late than never" and I finally got to check out 'Angry Garlic' to see what all the hype was about. Well folks, it didn't disappoint or underwhelm in any way, shape, or form!

With so many salivating options on the menu it was difficult to pin down a good starter but I went with the "AG" Burger/medium rare and it was perfection personified! So flavorful and cooked on point!

The service was equally great as my bartender was kind, affable and attentive in general.

A++++ Check this establishment out if you haven't already! Nuff said:)

Angry Garlic loved up to the hype!

Got the Angry garlic bites as an appetizer. I got the Angry Vodka riggies and my partner got the bacon and Blue burger.

These are quite literally the best and most flavorful riggies I've ever had. And they made them spicy and it was such a flavorful spicy!

Highly recommend!

Loved this place so much, we drove an hour just to come back! We’ve previously had the turkey and avocado sandwich, garlic parmesan wings, loaded tots, and the poutine! You seriously cannot go wrong with anything you order here. Cannot wait to come back again!

Stopped here for a late lunch and it was awesome! They do have a kids menu. Our daughter enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. I got the spicy chicken Caesar wrap with fries and my husband got a salad that he said was very good. Everything was delicious. Our server was great and brought refills on drinks without asking and our food came out quickly. Would highly recommend coming here.

First time dining here with husband and friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food! Fresh hot appetizer of the garlic bites, enjoyed the in house hot sauce. I ordered the angry bruiser burger and husband had a creamy garlic chicken with tater tots. Our server was amazing and patient, and attentive-even offered to bring out MORE sauteed chopped garlic for someone's entree. We will be back to dine in again.

The food here is delicious. I am a huge fan of anything garlic. Finally I've found a place that actually uses enough of it. I came here many times but haven't left a review until I sampled a bit more of the menu. I've had the risotto, a burger, the Mac and cheese and also their soup. I wanted the gumbo but they were all out. I'm guessing it was as good as I hoped. Looking forward to finally trying everything on their menu. The bar is a whole other vibe with great drinks and attentive service, I'll soon be back for another great experience.

We did not have a reservation, but they were very accommodating. The food was delicious. My daughter loved the mac and cheese so much she had 2. We loved the wings and the burger was even better.

Extremely friendly service, attentive to drinks and kept us informed of when our food was close to coming out.

The food itself was phenomenal as well! The hot Mess in chicken form was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. Super tender chicken, easy bite separated from the rest of the chicken and didn't drag the entire piece out of the bun, the sauce was amazing and it had just the right amount of spicy!

The poutine was equally delicious, a bit plain but it lives up to the name and description.

Try the place out if you can get in, I highly recommend this place.

Great food! Attentive service for our large party. No one had a bad meal. We had one complaint about a bland soup and the manager addressed it immediately and had a fresh (delicious!!) Batch of soup made.

Gluten free options were great (gf pasta, buns, flatbread, soup)

Shout out to the manager, Nikki.

This place is worth the wait. I’m still dreaming about the SPG wings and the raspberry martini the bartender whipped up for me! My friends also had delicious meals. The staff there is very friendly and personable. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. HIGHLY recommend!
