I had the opportunity to explore this charming park integrated with the Montgomery's city hall a few weeks ago. Upon my arrival, I found the parking lot to be bustling with activity, primarily due to its proximity to the city hall. However, the park itself appeared to be relatively tranquil, with the majority of visitors seemingly drawn to the adjacent city hall. Setting off on my exploration, I walked along the park's paved trail, which thoughtfully encircled the park's periphery, creating a seamless connection to neighboring communities. My walk commenced at the entrance adjacent to the parking lot, and while the park was situated in close proximity to a bustling thoroughfare, the natural beauty of the surroundings lent a soothing counterbalance to the urban hum. Along the trail, I encountered various amenities designed to enhance the visitor experience, including benches, a shelter, and well-maintained restrooms. Though the park was not teeming with visitors during my stroll, there were a few individuals taking leisurely walks or simply relishing moments of serenity amid the greenery. It was clear that the park catered to a diverse range of outdoor activities, appealing to those seeking to engage in everything from peaceful contemplative walks to invigorating jogs. As I concluded my exploration and ventured back towards the entrance, I was greeted by a delightful spectacle—a captivating fountain adorning the forefront of the city hall. The sight and sound of the fountain created an enchanting ambiance, undoubtedly serving as the highlight of my visit.
Overall, I would recommend this park to individuals of all ages and interests. It emerged as an exemplary urban oasis, providing an ideal setting for all outdoor activities.

Nice size, plenty of parking at both entrances. Equipment is well maintained and updated frequently. Includes adaptive play equipment. Basketball court, baseball field, large shelter, drinking fountains that are also available for pets, and public restrooms.

Due to COVID health concerns, we needed a _literally_ last-minute venue change for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Fortunately, Montgomery Park was nearby and the shelter was available. The entire park was clean and inviting, and - long story short - the night was magical; it couldn't have been better had we planned it that way.

A year later, for the vow renewal rehearsal dinner, Montgomery Park was the obvious choice. This time we reserved the shelter to be sure. The reservation process wasn't as easy as it could be, but it wasn't a big deal. Again, the park and the night were wonderful.

Absolutely lovely park and playground. Nice ball fields and plenty of park benches and picnic tables.

Great park. Good facilities. Different play area for smaller or older kids. Good large covered picnic area. Probably could use a bit more parking.

Great park. Always clean. Brand new basketball courts. Playgrounds. Shady spots.

Had a bit of a reunion with a few great friends from grade school, high school, etc... Such a lovely little park with a shelter, charcoal grills, a huge fireplace within the shelter, outdoor basketball court, playground for the kids and nice, CLEAN bathrooms. Lots of mature shade trees and plenty grassy area. Krogers is just across the street in case you forgotten anything for your picnic. Highly recommend it.

Great spot for sledding! Slow done before you hit the creek though! 😉

Very family friendly and beautiful to walk around

Very nice hidden gem in Montgomery! Partially shaded play area, very cool and different playground equipment! Kids were excited for something other than typical ramps, stairs, tunnels, and slides. Reminded me of American Ninja warrior type of obstacles or training area. Sand pit with 3 'diggers'. Also a small younger child standard playground. Has unique swings for an adult to swing at the same time their baby is in a connected baby swing

Great little community park. Age appropriate activities for all age groups. Nice shelter with lots of tables.

Really nice park. Small and very clean. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon/evening. Multiple swings, even have toddler swing and tandem swings (toddler plus parent).

This park is very nice and right in the heart of town. Enjoy a 10 minute walk, swings, grills or a park bench. Take time to relax and enjoy in this beautifully wooded park.

Nice park. Well kept. Play equipment and baseball diamond for kids. Picnic area can be reserved.

Great park, lots of shade, excellent playground for the kids. Ample benches and great quick 0.4 walking trail.

Good playground with nice sight lines for watching kids. The sand pit is a big win for the kids. I get a little tired of the sand all over my kids.

The best place to stock up on Pokeballs in the area. Nice place to walk, too. It's neat to check out the history of Montgomery at city hall right there.

It's great for kids with a nice playground as well as a baseball park, and It's quite large for city events (I.E. The 4th of July Parade)

They only thing missing is maybe a small care on the corner. But there is a Kroger and several shops located in a strip mall right next door. Well played Montgomery Park
