Brown Derby Wood Fired Steakhouse Medina

This place is a lost gem. /Real wood fired Steaks. The Flavor is unmatched. And oh so tender. The seafood mushrooms were large caps; the seasoning was a little heavy, but they were still delish! My white chocolate raspberry tini was on point. I can't wait to go back.

Our experience was wonderful!
My adult daughter and I were out of town, googled for a nice restaurant, we called they were extremely receptive, even though it was a holiday weekend. Our waitress was 5 star, our food was beyond Amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection!
We had lobster, shrimp, steak with all the extras! We took home a lot for leftovers!!

Had a family gathering of 17 our waitress was great handled everything like a pro. The food was great, and all came out together. The pretzel appetizer was a hit with my family and the beer cheese it came with tasted great.

Our small group was seated in line with the front door and the kitchen. I'm quite sure the kitchen draft hoods were providing the impetus for a chilly draft when the front doors were opened.

The food was considered to be very good by everyone in our group. The BBQ Ribs were perhaps the best I had ever eaten. Truly fall off the bone ribs, like these are rare.

Will definitely make a return appearance here.

Excellent food, above excellent in personal services and hospitality and ensuring total positive experience each and every time I visit. The most professional and best restaurant in Medina County and maybe NE Ohio.

Girves Brown Derby We had the Tuesday special 10 oz. filet and four free shrimp. Caesar salad was 10/10. Fries 8/10. The Filet that I ordered medium was so tender. The shrimp, served on a bed of rice, had a grilled flavor. The Idaho baked potato was large and delicious. The steak that was ordered medium well was charred on the outside and barely pink inside and very good. The house salad was served with white French dressing that was creamy and light.

We frequent BD often, but I was very concerned about going out to eat on Mother's Day. I shouldn't have been. We had reservations for 2 at 3pm. Got there a few minutes early, seated right away. The service was excellent, I didn't feel rushed, our server was great and my 'warm pink center' porterhouse was cooked PERFECTLY. Kudos to the staff for a great experience.

The food was amazing. I had a New York Stip, and it was delicious. The bake potato was loaded. I wanted a Mohito
which they didn't serve normally, but the bartender went out of her way to make me one, and it was great. The Server's where professional, friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The ambiance was classy.
I would recommend this place.

Been there many times. We enjoy the food. This time was the best experience. Tera is amazing and we will be coming back to see her soon.

Every year, our Boss takes us there to Brown Derby in Medina for our Christmas Party. It's beautifully decorated and the food is excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Since the Brown Derby closed in Canton I had a gift card to use so we drove to the Medina location. This is Brown Derby that I remember. A very busy and thriving restaurant. The food was wonderful and delicious. The chicken and ribs were delicious. Definitely worth the drive. We will be back.

Perfectly cooked steak!
We are in from out of town and this was right by our hotel. They had a special with 12 Oz top sirloin and chicken breast for 25.99, so for that price, that's what we each got. Bread was really good! Our server was very attentive and refilled our sodas several times. I got Mexican street corn as a side, and the kitchen had a little mix up and forgot it. Again our server to the rescue! Both of our steaks were absolutely perfectly cooked! The grill flavor really came through on both the steak and the chicken. Fiancée is not much of a chicken guy, but remarked that he definitely liked the chicken!
Most definitely will be back when we are in town again!

The food was fantastic and we came for my birthday with a large party. Kari provided the best service I’ve ever had and made the occasion special. I definitely recommend this great establishment!

Tara our sever made our experience Exceptional. It was extremely busy and they were short handed during our visit, and Tara didn’t miss a beat. Not only was she Exceptional, but her personality was in unmatched especially given how busy it was. Unfortunately in the times we are living in you rarely experience OUTSTANDING service. We went there for my birthday. The food was excellent. We had steak, salmon and the stuff mushrooms for the appetizer. No one in our group complained about anything it was just delicious! Our server was really nice and picked up our bad jokes & joined in as well with a joke or two of her own. Plan on going there again for a night out or special occasion.

I just had my husband’s 60th birthday party at The Brown Derby. It was wonderful! The waitresses were great and with the private room we had the freedom to walk around and visit without bothering the other guests.

Wow, I travel often for work related projects, when I travel, I usually eat out. I have traveled all over America and many places around the world. I usually visit places recommended by locals. I always look for quality Sea food, steak and craft food. If you visit here FYI, Kamyia is simply the best ever! Trust her and her recommendations. If you like high quality food with great service this is a must visit location. I’m updating my review because I returned the next day to order another recommendation from Kamyia this time, I had the salmon. Another home run wow great food and great service.

Thank you Brown Derby, Medina, OH! We had a fabulous time yesterday at the restaurant celebrating a family get-together! Everything about the experience was brilliant! Many thanks to our server, Mickey who was incredibly special throughout it all!

Steak was one of the best and the salmon was great....you can watch the chef cook your steak on the grill through a glass window.

July 2022 update: Just added some pics of the ribeye and salmon. This place is still awesome and delicious!

April 2023 update: Still an awesome place for a great steak! Got the ribeye again, cooked perfectly medium. Hayden who was tending the bar was great and had good recommendations. A note to the owner: Please bring back the chocolate souffle!

Came in with my wife and son and we were lucky enough to get Kari as our server. She was the best, so kind and thoughtful to our 5 year old son - she got more out him in 5 minutes than I can in a week of conversation!
