Norfolk Public Library: Janaf Branch

I just joined Norfolk Library and needed info. on how to transfer ebooks from the library to my nook e reader. I called the Janaf branch and was told someone would reach out to me and within 10 minutes I received an email from Jennie Radovsky with excellent instructions. I am so glad I joined the library!!
I am adding to this....about 5 minutes after I wrote this Emily from the branch called to follow-up to ensure the directions I received via email were sufficient. The staff at this location are not only knowledgeable but they really care!

Today was the first day Janaf Library reopened since the covid. I was their 5th customer of the day. The computers aren't available as of yet and you have to tell the assistants what DVD or books you want and they'll go fetch it for you. Very clean and well organized.

I like this small library it's very quiet. Lately there has not been a lot of people in me are so there are many computers that are available..

Small branch, usually pretty busy, but friendly staff.

I went to the library because I needed to print a document real quickly because I ran out of ink at home...It has been a couple of years since I went to the library. I forgot my password, so I went to the front desk for help, the lady didn't even look up at me or acknowledge me standing right in front of her she just kept typing and looking at her computer. I had to ask her... excuse me can you help me. What kind of service is that?

It was kinda gross. I don't know something could seem both sterile and dirty at the same time but this was. It was definitely not a very enlightening place. The service was nonexistent, didn't even acknowledge me when I said hi. Very small, seating was limited. It was quiet in there so that's good.
