Fantastic little neighborhood park. Neighbors peek out windows, but they are just protecting this little piece of paradise. We smiled and waved 👋 Great wildflower and native plant area. Handicap accessible path, dock, and kayak launch! No playground, no bathrooms.

The neighborhood park is fantastic. There's a wood pier on the river with a canoe dock. I walk my dogs there in the summer. All of the walking paths have a canopy of trees so it's at least 10-15 degrees cooler there. Beautiful!

Best park in a great area. Been coming here since I was a kid, walked our dogs here, seen it change over the years. Still just a beautiful quiet park to check out. One of my favorite places to go all through my life, great place just to sit and reflect. I always stop here, when I am visiting Virginia. If you live in the area and haven't bought the family, make sure you do, doesn't disappoint!

This a wonderful place to bring your dog the river is a great place to throw a ball and let your dog take a swim. You can also put your kayak in for a fun time too and they recently put a new floating dock so it's even more convenient 😀🚣🐕 and don't forget your fishing pole the fishing is pretty good because there is also a lake so you have choices

Love this neighborhood, and the school's. Traffic is my only complaint, but that's just a part of living in VA Beach. Once you figure out the busy times around here, you can plan around it. We've lived here over 5 years, and still think it's the best location we could have picked! Far enough away from all the tourists, yet close enough to enjoy all the wonderful things to do in our city!

Went with family to this petting zoo and pumpkin patch. Kids had a ball. That is what it is about.

Rode a hay bus to the corn maze and followed grandkids thru to the end. Simple maze, lots of fun!

We relocated to this neighborhood in 2011, and still 6 years later we couldn't be happier. Carolanne Farms is really one of those quite, family oriented hidden gems in Virginia Beach. Many of our neighbors are retired, and have lived here 30+ years. A large amount of the new comers are often military like our family where relocation is common.
We live just minutes from the park that has a nice paved trail that leads down to a boat launch to the Elizabeth River, with a nice fishing deck, and built in benches. If you want to adventure some, there is an unpaved trail that takes you back, and around Turtle Lake. We've caught catfish, large mouth bass, and plenty of sunnies/pan fish.
My 3 children were all enrolled at Arrowhead elementary, (my youngest will be the first to go all 5 years), and it's been one of the best schools they've ever attended. My middle school aged child goes to Larkspur, and my oldest attends Kempsville High. We had read bad reviews for all 3 schools, but even Kempsville has been a pleasant surprise. We've never dealt with fights, or reports of excessive violence. Kempsville's Principal Ed Harris truly has the students safty in mind, and will always keep parents updated if an incident occurs.
Getting around is easy, you don't need to go far for groceries, movies, gas, or shopping. It's been a great neighborhood to raise our children, and we're so happy we found it!

Nice and quiet little fishing spot, has a canoe/kayak launch that is handicap accessible which was cool to see. Lived in VB all my life and only recently learned about it.
