Hertz Car Rental - Melbourne - Harbor City Hle

Quick and easy. If you have your credit card, ID and insurance it takes 10 minutes to get your car (I had a reservation). The staff was friendly and made it a pleasant rental and the car was clean.

I have been renting here for past 2 years. Great location when you live in Melbourne and closer to me than airport. I do always one way rental as I need to either go to MCO or returning from MCO. The lady in the office is extremely friendly and helpful. They always have car for me when I book and are very quick in getting your keys. Thank you.

After having a tire blow out in the Hertz car I rented I was stranded. I was driving through a place where all of the Hertz locations were not corporate locations. Every office I went to told me I had to pay tons more money returning a car to the wrong location and renting a new one. This wasn't in my work travel budget...I called Doreen at this Harbor City location and asked what I should do... she fixed everything for me. Even though I was very far from her office she was able to call the place closest to me and get me into a car that I could finish my drive home in. When other places said there was no way Doreen made a way... being polite and helpful the whole time. I chose Hertz because they have many offices across the country and choosing this corporate location really paid off.

After being in an auto accident, I was looking for a car rental company that would pick me up after I dropped my car off at my local auto body shop. I was having issues with the original car rental place I had booked, so I called Hertz to see if they were willing to accommodate me. I spoke with Jacqueline and she was super helpful. She was able to accommodate my pickup location and time. The driver was also great. If you need a rental car, I highly recommend this location. The staff was amazing.

This location is the best Hertz in the country! The representatives are extremely helpful and friendly. This is just one example: Our Uber driver was late getting us there to pick up our rental on a Friday afternoon at 5pm. Any other location, would have locked the doors and went home. When we arrived, not only were they still there, but they were super friendly as always.

The manager went above and beyond to help me get a rental car. I originally couldn’t make it before they closed and when my plans changed, she was able to get me the rate I initially booked. Really great customer service. In addition, someone mentioned the selection of cars compared to the airport. I have picked up at the airport many times and while there is a larger selection, I was happy with the cheaper option I received at this non-airport location. This was an even better options than ones I’ve received at the airport.

Hertz Europe suck but this branch is BRILLIANT. The staff were really amazing and could not do enough to help. The cars were clean, reliable and decent and would book again without any doubt. Only slight criticism is that on return I had two charges. One I have no idea what it was for and the second was for tolls even though we paid cash. However, they are a third of the price so I am not going to moan about an extra £50. Even if accidentally added, I don't care guven their rock bottom prices. Highly recommended 👌

Will definitely book this beach again if going to Melbourne airport. Staff were great. No hard sell and helpful. Got a great car. Was charged when I got home for going through a toll without paying. Charged for the toll $1.25 and a $5 admin charge which I thought was reasonable. 👍

I've been coming here for many years. The staff are always friendly and ready to help. They have always kept their word to me and did whatever they could to help male my trips more pleasant. My vehicle has always been clean and ready. Oil changes regularly and good tires. All I've ever had to do is ask and they are more than willing to help me at any given moment. If I could give each of them a raise in pay I would gladly do so because they all work very hard to earn their money. They all do their best to take care of the customers needs. If you need something just ask. This place gets very busy and some folks are impatient. I recommend calling a few days in advance and always print out your reservation. They have always honored mine. I have been getting monthly rentals from this Hertz location since March. They all have gone above and beyond to make my time in their vehicles more comfortable. I have 3 kids so we need a full size SUV I was upgraded twice to a Suburban from a Tahoe and then upgraded from a mid size SUV to a full size SUV. I have to keep getting new rentals due to my husbands work, I’m never in there very long redoing the rental agreement. Doreen and her coworkers are fast and sufficient. I feel they care about their customers. I highly recommend this Hertz office.

Awesome rental experience - friendly and efficient staff. Just remember this is not an airport desk and the advertised opening hours reflect this. I’ll definitely be using this branch of Hertz again.

These are the NICEST group of people ever! More like borrowing a car from family (from family whom you will pay, of course) than renting from a conglomerate. Everyone is friendly, professional, thoughtful and helpful. Car was clean and ready. Great place when you need to rent a car. Highly recommend!

Drove to get me to rent the car. They also drove to Orlando to get the car for me. Prearranged reservations were key. The location made sure the reservation was filled with the trim level and vehicle size I reserved.

Had a great experience with Vinay at this Hertz. He was friendly and helpful, and made the experience enjoyable and quick. We walked in and walked out with a rental car (and some recommendations of things to visit around Melbourne) in no time at all. Only complaint was the price of the pass for tolls, if you go through a toll accidentally you'll have to pay 17 AUD per day.

After my exhausting ordeal with Dollar Car Rental-*shudder*😐, I rented a car here the next day. Got me a 2020 Ford ¿Fusion? or something like it. BADASSERY!!!! I LOOOVVEE this vehicle!!! I'm technologically disenfranchised so couldn't even figure out how to turn the thing on by caught on fast. I TOTALLY WANT THIS CAR. Alas, will have to return this Wed. Ok. The Hertz peeps were cool & showed me how to start the vehicle which was very nice but that was about it when it came to conversing with them...OH I signed some paperwork... That's it.
Best I can say is 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 b/c of the badass ride! 😎

First off usually I don't do no reviews. But for the time I really feel like Somebody deserves my review. Karlo from Hertz is the real definition of true professionalism & Great customer service. After being on the phone with enterprise for three days trying to rent a car for the few days that I was staying in Melbourne FL. They lied to me, gave me the run around. They tell you one price and when I get there it was a different price. After getting so frustrated with the people from ENTERPRISE. I decided to call HERTZ. AND THAT GUY KARLO SAVES MY VACATION! Rent me the car i wanted& work with me on the price. KARLO GREAT JOB MAN!!!! If anybody need to rent a car in Melbourne! Call Hertz in south harbor blvd n ask for KARLO! YOU WONT REGRET IT.
