Macaron Tart

Superb pastries that provide the perfect balance of flavors and texture. Visually appetizing. Owner is warm, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit.

Been here quite a few times including today. My daughter and I go about every 2 weeks to get a box of her favorite macarons and something new for me. The couple running the store are always warm and welcoming and remember us as well which we like a lot. Never had any negative remarks or tone/attitude issues from them. I highly recommend this place. At first my family and I didn't see what was so special about macarons because we would always buy them pre-made but once we had fresh ones we have been hooked every since.

It’s NO wonder this place has near perfect ratings. The extensive training, detailed diligence, and personal care that go into such quality French style baked goods is more than most but the most focused baker would apply.
The decor is a crisp blend of formal, French, and feminine. Everything is absolutely spotless.
We tried chicken spinach crepes and pot pie. These are definitely not your chain restaurant comfort food. Instead, they are fresh made, miles beyond such mass produced offerings. The blend of flavors is distinct and spot on.
Few Americans can produce a perfectly smooth, European style cappuccino, but the proprietor, Elena, knows espresso as well. I’d return just for that.
Do not mistake Elena’s quick, efficient manner as unfriendly. She’s kind and warm, given the opportunity. Macron Tart is a reflection of her hard work and baking brilliance.
I’ve saved the best for last: the baked goods. The macaroons are artistic and flawless. The tarts, a dream. Keep in mind, French style is not as excessively sweet as American baked goods. The emphasis is more on quality ingredients, technique, and fabulous flavors. My berry tart was exquisite, full of ripe berry flavor, split between two meals. His lemon meringue received his praise for its scrumptious balance of tart and sweet with perfectly toasted, fluffy meringue. I think we need to take up running so we can return often.

Chocolate crepes were absolutely fantastic!! I had an iced coffee too that was perfect on this hot day. The owner was super sweet, and attentive even tho she was the only one there. The decor is beautiful and elegant and clean! Will be back to try more of the treats mmmm

I stopped in this morning for brunch and had a great experience. I ordered a a few macarons, a latte, and a croissant sandwich; everything was delicious. It was not very busy while I was there, so I had the pleasure of talking to Elena for a few minutes. She was very nice and made sure to check on me and other customers periodically. I am very much looking forward to going back to try more delicious items off the menu and taking one of her classes in the future.

Elena was super amazing really sweet and proficient. The drinks were amazing and the bakery has very delicious crapes macaroons and many other great pastries gluten free of course. Very clean and elegant place for a coffee brunch modern and peaceful in here. 10/10 try this coffee shop / bakery out

Very delicious macarons, I have been to many places offering macarons and Macaron Tart definitely hits the spot. Light and delicious crumble as you bite in makes it worth it all. Very decently priced as well, so you wont break the bank.

I come here for all my fresh Macarons whenever I’m in Virginia Beach. Delicious desserts and great customer service. I would highly recommend this place so head over and check them out!

Really enjoyed the brunch here! We had the chicken salad and the bacon and egg on a croissant. They were super fluffy and delicious.

Along with that we had the Raspberry and Lemon Macarons, S’mores Tart and the Raspberry Tea Pot. Everything was 10/10. So many more dates will be had there.

I've popped in to buy pastries before (and I've never been disappointed,) but this time we tried out the summer camp. It's always hard to get older kids into a summer camp activities and have them genuinely enjoy themselves, but my daughter had been raving about Miss Elena all week. Thank you for making her experience this week so wonderful! We will absolutely be back again next year!

I love this place❤ i wish i took pics of what i bought before eating. As soon as I took a bite of thie apple pie.. i fell in love with it. The tart is another level. I’ll def come back to this place. So happy to find it👍🏻 Their macaroons were good too esp lavender❤❤❤

Very quant place offering unique but limited amounts of hand made on site desserts, pastries, tarts which are hard to find in today chain food world. Owner & facility inviting & warm, give them a visit to see yourself. Good items to give to clients.

My family, and I went here on Sunday, and it was really nice. The dishes were beautiful, and the desserts were very tasty, and the croissants were delicious! The lady there Mrs. Elena (I think) was so amazingly kind, able to multitask, pleasant, courteous, welcoming, and even told us about the kids classes. The customer service was top tier! I’ll be signing my daughter up for the classes!!

No matter what flavor I get her Macarons always hit the spot. The texture is perfect! Also, the lattes she makes are the best I’ve ever had! If you haven’t tried this place you absolutely need to.

We had Tea for a close friend’s birthday, The tea was DELISH, the macarons were PHENOMENAL, the Quiche we TO DIE FOR, the music was SUPERB, and the owner was so NICE and so FRIENDLY.

We did high tea and it was amazing! High tea for two adults and I brought my 3 year old. My 3 year old is really good with real tea cups. The food was amazing. We did a quiche and croissant, both were amazing but the croissant was super tasty. We had 4 mini tarts and a handful of macarons. It was so nice and fun! Totally worth it. Highly recommend some high tea with a friend or a quick grab of some amazing homemade treats.

Had a cooking class for my daughters 13th birthday party it was a great experience highly recommended the hospitality was amazing

Skeptical but impressed! I typically don’t like macarons because of their taste and texture. First and only time I’ve liked them was in Paris. I bought the sampler as a gift and described them to the recipient as supposedly having a thin crisp “shell” breaking way to a chewy interior and finishing with a creamy center... but encouraged lower expectations. Turns out the macaron was EXACTLY that! (You can see the various textures of the mint chocolate in the photo below.) It was DELICIOUS! Mint was so fresh. (For the price of each macaron, I had joked that it better be the size of a burger but after tasting it, I recant! 😉)
