The Fresh Market

Came here to buy side dish to go with home cooked baked salmon. Got the lemon orzo salad. It was delicious and reasonably priced. The store was festively decorated, offered a variety of holiday sweets, treats and decor for sale such as floral arrangements in ornament shaped vases. Customer service was great, fast and professional, from the person behind the prepared foods counter to the cashier.

Fresh Market’s Thanksgiving meal was magically delicious!! I’m one who typically enjoys preparing every dish during my favorite holiday. This year I was bedridden and decided to celebrate Thanksgiving early while family members were present caring for me.

I ordered a Traditional Holiday Meal for $99 from Fresh Market which included the following:
* Fully Cooked Turkey (10–12 lb)
* Yukon Gold Whipped Potatoes (3 lb)
* Traditional Herb Stuffing (3 lb)
* Homestyle Turkey Gravy (30 oz)
* Cranberry Relish with Walnuts (1 lb)
* Soft Golden Dinner Rolls (12 ct)

When my daughter picked up the food, it was all cold, some frozen, and packaged in a really nice cooler!! My adult children heated everything up while they also prepared other dishes and early Thanksgiving was served!! The turkey was surprisingly juicy, rolls fluffy, mashed potatoes creamy, and I loved the fresh cranberry relish!! It wasn’t too sweet or tart! The stuffing was basic but also very flavorful! There was more than enough food for approximately 8-10 people.

Kudos to The Fresh Market members, Jay, Charlotte, & Bonnie! I called to change my order several times & they were all professional and patient w/ me. Expect my early order for next year as I’m totally making this a tradition!

great store with quality products. some things are pricier than typical grocery store, but feel it's worth it for the quality. on this trip picked up two beautiful porterhouse steaks that were delicious.

We love their ground chuck special on Tuesday. The ground chuck is always fresh and very tasty. We also love their Thursday sushi specials. We love the staff, they are very helpful and friendly. There is plenty of free parking.

Great selection with a friendly staff! Fresh baked desserts, excellent cuts of meat, and organic fruits and vegetables.

Some great food choices and fresh produce. The associates are customer service oriented and friendly.Their loyalty program offers substantial discounts and a free slice of birthday cake 🥰

The cleanliness of the store is wonderful. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I enjoy the peaceful shopping experience with ample selections and fresh produce nicely presented. This is a quality operation. Clearly, The Fresh Market is a gem offering in the Virginia Beach area.

One of my favorite places to shop. Like their meal deal. The meats are always fresh. The people behind the meat counter are always so helpful with my questions. Fruits and veggies always fresh and good.

The Fresh Market is the best place to shop, even just walk through and stop and eat! everyone is so helpful and the chef in the food department does a awesome job cooking ,desserts are phenomenal in the bakery is amazing, say goodbye to long waits in the checkout lines.The convenience Is The Fresh Market.

Wife and I checked this market out, and we were amazed as to how fresh their fruits and vegetables looked. Far and away better quality than what you see in typical grocery stores. Great wine selection. Meats section had good selections and everything looked fresh. Not your typical food market, but a great stop for specific items you are wanting.

This store never disappoints. The cashier was exceptional. When I didn't have one of the ingredients that came with the dinner special, she left the register to show me where it was located. The $25 weekly dinners are always fresh and delicious.

I love our little Fresh Market at Pembroke. It has such a small town grocer vibe but also a high end urban feel. The managers and employees are always friendly and helpful. Our family has a variety of food sensitivities and allergies and it’s easy for me to find high quality products and organics here that meet our needs. I always leave with a lot more than I went in for because everything looks so fresh and tasty. If I can’t decide what to cook for dinner, I can pick up their quick dinner kits right by produce and the deli counter. It costs less that takeout from a restaurant and tastes so much better than frozen dinners. I love using the GG(go green) products and I think this is the only place to buy them without going on line. I buy whatever produce is on sale and pick up some bulk candies, hot wings, organic tortilla chips, fresh salsa and guacamole. The cherries are so good right now! The Fresh Market has a great variety of gluten free and organic breads in the freezer and the new A2 milk in the dairy. Excellent cuts of meat at the meat counter along with all of the fresh beautiful flowers really makes it a one stop shopping trip.

Great, clean store. I was there around 7 pm and it had less than 5 customers. Great selection. I was impressed by the amount of variety this market offers. Honestly surprised why Wegmans is frequented so much by customers with this fantastic grocery so close by. Impressed by the selection and variety of market meals available here. Great for a quick and healthy dinner.

Inviting atmosphere. Wide variety of specialty items. High quality fresh greens and fresh vegetables. The deli and prepared foods area is well-maintained and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The items available are quite tasty! The bakery is full of delights, and there is a large floral department. Throughout the store, there are interesting gourmet gift choices, as well.

Always a good selection of fresh food. Store is very clean and well stocked. The cashiers are polite and friendly.

Fresh salads, delicious desserts,amazing produce and beautiful florals. Excellent selection of meals for when you don't want to cook. I enjoy shopping at this grocery store.

I LOVE roaming around The Fresh Market and I always make it a point to stop in here when I'm getting something nearby.

They have the best snacks section and I always load up on some of the package and weigh it yourself items for plane trips such as trail mix or sesame sticks.

Their floral area is beautiful and my ex always had bouquets put together for me here above anywhere else. He liked that he picked the flowers and the vase and the nice ladies would put it all together for him at better prices than if he ordered them online from somewhere else.

Fresh produce is all excellent here and the deli items are to die for. I LOVE the pre-made items you just heat to eat and all the pasta salads and cheeses! Heaven!

Another wonderful visit to the Fresh Market in va,beach, We really want a Fresh Market near Chesapeake square mall, but we are very patient people,.We love the market at pembroke, employees are very professional and helpful, there is a lot of wonderful food to enjoy from them, we have tried a lot of different things and we have never been disappointed with anything we have tried, the oak smoked salmon is to die for its delicious !!! All the bakery goods are fresh & great as well, to many great treats are waiting for you, so go enjoy some really good food. We tried the smoked salmon last week and we just got home with some more for tonight's dinner. We are hooked.
