AJ's Hair Studio

I booked my first appointment with AJ's hair studio..via online.. and the booking was simple, and it was booked only a week out. There was a change to my stylist and I got the pleasure of working with Dena, and let me say, Wow! I only know what I want my hair to resemble and she was able to do that and more as well as educate me on my hair. I have booked a follow up with Dena. If you're looking for someone to treat your hair good and have a great time while doing so, then definitely check them out..and ask for Dena!

When I called the shop I was very last minute, and Dena got me in within 20 minutes, immediately following my nail appointment! She was able to curl and style my hair for my engagement and pregnancy announcement photo shoot that was at 6:00 that evening! I was in at 4:00 and out by 4:30 with gorgeous curls that held up throughout the entire shoot!

The best hair cut I ever had! Mony was phenomenal. Very polite, kind, professional and did a great job on my hair. She listened to what I wanted and did just that! Very happy with my hair I def would recommend. thank you!

This review is in reference to the one star review I left when I was very upset. I apologize for letting my anger get in the way. This salon is not how I portrayed it to be. The owner was very nice and turned my experience around so my visit ended on a positive note, proving they care about their clients and will make sure you are totally satisfied. I truly appreciate everything they did and must say, I would return for future services. Thank you to everyone for the kindness and professionalism.

Dena did AMAZING with my hair! I’ve never had such amazing hair service done! She cares about what you want it to look like, not what the world does! She made all my hair dreams come true!

This was my second time going and I love the beautiful job that my stylist did. Unfortunately it was very windy out so all the work she did to curl it and make it beautiful. Blew out but it was beautiful for a while. Definitely going back

Dena went above and beyond to get my hair exactly how I wanted it. I had red left over in my hair so going completely blond wasn’t going to happen realistically. Not only did I decide on highlights and was given an appt last minute but these wonderful women were able to bring my dream to a reality. Dena did low lights and high lights along with a toner and made my highlights look natural. I feel beautiful and happy and my hair looks fantastic. Are you scared your hair won’t be exactly how you want it to be?. Don’t freak out just call ajs hair studio and they will bring your dream to reality just like Dena did for me 😊❤.

Had my hair cut done there 3 weeks ago. I had the best experience ever. Jeanie did an awesome job on my hair. Prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

I do not remember the one that cut my hair yesterday but I want to say that she is the first one not afraid to cut my hair how I wanted it just because I have baby fine hair. I love my hair and the layers she put in it and I will continue to go back there. She was awesome. Thank you so much for doing what I asked and not being afraid to do so.

Had my first cut by Mony yesterday. One of the best cuts I’ve ever had!!! I showed her a picture of a cut I had a few years ago and was trying to get again …. She did exactly what I wanted!! Thanks!!

Dena did an amazing job ! my hair was destroyed blonde balayage gone terrible wrong by another salon….. Dena got my hair to a pretty brown that is more my natural color I love it the whole team there is super nice I will be coming back so glad I finally found a salon that knows what they are doing ! Thank you Dena !

Tracey did a perm with layers for me and it came out so beautiful. The best I've ever had so far. I get stopped alot by people telling me how beautiful my hair looks now🥰 I have long hair so it took a few hrs but Tracey made me feel so comfortable, she was so nice and you can tell the woman knows her stuff:) the price was very reasonable, if I would have had more cash on me she would have received a bigger tip:) I do recommend going in and speaking with whoever is doing your hair if you want a ballpark price before your appointment. Other than that I highly recommend Tracey to do your hair. I don't even want to try out any other places, this is close to me and it's perfect, she amazing. Oh and I love that she doesn't allow others to mess with your hair while she doing it. Especially since this was my first time going there. Not everyone knows what they are doing so I was very pleased when she said no thank you to others asking her if she wanted help. She didn't need help, she knew exactly what I wanted and what she was doing:) Thank you again Tracey for the wonderful experience.

I had a great experience today with Amanda. I had hair loss/thinning issues since major surgery last year and told her how worried I was doing anything color-related and how I thought my hair had stopped growing altogether. She listened to my concern, was empathetic and caring. Definitely made me feel at home. We decided to stay darker while my hair still continues to rebound and she was able to make my awful haircut (from another salon) look and feel better. This is definitely my new go-to place and she's my go-to person for my hair. Thank you so much!

I went to AJ’s Studio for a haircut today. For the past 6 years, I had gone to a person at another salon, who left the state. In search for another stylist, I read excellent reviews for AJ’s Studio. Set up an appointment, and met with Angie, the owner, who did a terrific job cutting my hair. Angie is extremely personable, professional, and a great stylist. Also, her studio is super clean!

I just recently discovered AJ's and have only been there a few times, but the staff has always been very polite and helpful. My haircut yesterday was done by Tracey and not only did she do a great job with my hair, but her customer service was exceptional. She really seems to love what she does, and I will definitely be coming back again. Thanks Tracey!

Really enjoyed my visit here and appointment with Catherine recently. Catherine was so knowledgeable and gave me the best cut and style, way better than I would’ve imagined. She was attentive, super sweet and I will definitely be coming back to see her. Staff was very friendly, big plus for me to see a smiling staff.

This was first time going to AJ’s and I had great experience with them. Amanda was my stylist and she was AMAZING. She helped me decide on a cut that was both cute and easy to maintain, she even went the extra mile as to teach me a few tricks to easily style my hair at home. Great first experience.

New stylist at AJ’s called Monica. Very experienced and amenable lady. She listens to what you want and discusses options with you before beginning. Extremely talented stylist, well worth a visit

I’ve just moved to the area and was looking for a good hairstylist as I’ve had 2 disastrous haircuts recently. As soon as I stepped into the salon to make an appointment I could see that it was clean and well cared for and had a good feeling about it.
I had an appointment with Tracy for a cut and finish and was extremely worried due to experiences at other salons. I needn’t have worried at all, Tracy listened to my fears, looked at the style pictures that I brought in, and then discussed with me what she thought would work best. I have to say that I was not disappointed. This lady is extremely talented with a pair of scissors and a hairdryer. I was delighted with the results ( so was my husband) . Thank you and well done Tracy and AJ’s. I will definitely be back!
