Beautiful sunsets, fun drinks, great music, and a fun crew make this a great party boat. Sit and enjoy the views, or dance and sing with the crew. Your choice. Our college-aged girls and my wife and I loved our trip. We would definitely do it again. Remember to tip your crew on the way off the ship. They deserve it.

This year was our fifth or sixth Black Raven Pirate Cruise adventure over the years. We did the “Nights of Lights” cruise this year, in late December. It’s a little bit chilly this time of year but it’s absolutely beautiful. A slow trip through the Matanzas, on the outskirts of St Augustine. The city lights up like a tree, with Christmas spirit, We even sang a few Christmas carols along the way.

The staff is always wonderful and make it fun for everyone. Black Raven offers several different cruises, some more geared for children, other for adults. I’ve always felt the 2 hour cruise was an excellent value, with memories to last a lifetime.

As long as I’m able to get in my reservation, I will continue to bring my family to this great attraction.

This was our 3rd trip on the Nights of Lights cruise. We love seeing the lights from the water. It’s a totally different experience than seeing them from a vehicle and the Pirate theme makes it all the more fun for kids and adults. The crew has been great every time. They are very engaging with everyone. The bartender pours a great drink and the prices are very reasonable. We look forward to this every year!

Booked the Rum Runner for my birthday and it did not disappoint. So much fun! Lives up to the 21+ adult cruise. I loved the humor, the crew, the bar wench, & creative drink menu! Will definitely have to make this a birthday tradition!

This was an awesome cruise! Pirates, music, water.... And they have beverages available on board for purchase. Santa was there during the Xmas season! The actors on board were very kind and fun!

Great way to keep the kids entertained while the adults enjoy a drink and a cruise of the intercostal. They do a great job engaging the kids and making sure they all have fun.

We took our kids on the black raven pirate cruise and they had a great time. The crew was very good at interacting with the kids. Each kid got to take pictures with the pirates, got a small treasure for themselves, and also got to sword fight with the pirates. The ship was very clean and the trip was smooth and safe. The bar on board was very reasonably priced and there are bathrooms on board.

I stopped here during my first trip to St. Augustine and had a blast!!! We did the family treasure hunt with no kids and it was still a great time. The drinks were good and the crew was fantastic. My favorite crew member was Dizzy Izzy, I loved watching her teach the kids to fight! I will definitely be returning.

My 18 Month old and my 4.5 year old LOVED the Pirate adventure! Izzy and the team were GREAT! Very interactive for the kids and of course they loved getting their treasure at the end. Kaleb's favorite part of sword fighting the pirate and even though he was one of the smallest, he felt huge cause his pirate nemesis said he was fierce! Not only that, the team went above and beyond putting us on a wait list in case of a cancellation as we had a last minute change of plans and calling us as soon as a spot was available! Thanks so much for a great last day for us!

We did the Night of Lights tour and it was AWESOME! The crew was fantastic and so much fun they were perfectly piratey, but also able to turn it off and make recommendations for other things in the area or to point out the dolphins swimming off the sides of the boat. It was great for kids and adults and we can’t wait to come back and do the “regular” ride with the show.

My boyfriend booked a sunset cruise for us during our trip to St. Augustine, and it was a blast! The crew have a ton of personality and a great sense of humor, and you can tell they enjoy what they’re doing. The views were very beautiful, and the drinks at the bar where cheaper than what we were getting in town. We plan on coming again for the adults only cruise next time and would definitely recommend!

We were married aboard the Black Raven and it was worth every Dabloon. Every guest enjoyed it immensely. Captain Maddox was awesome. I know I could do a better job writing a review, but seriously fun, absolutely unforgettable, spectacularly beautiful, worth every cent. What more do you need. .... Well the dolphins....they are quite the bonus.

The crew was amazing & funny. We’re came from Montana to Florida for a week with no kids for the first time ever, this was my favorite experience next to all the beach’s we went to. 10/10 recommend this we took the booze cruise cause you know NO KIDS — I have four and it was nice to adult without them 😊 the crew made it what it was & they were all amazing & fabulous-I was the one who helped the drunk girl! lol! You guys killed it! Thanks for a great time!

It was lit...I don't really remember the rum cruise due to the long island iced teas, but from the photos it looks like I had a lot of fun.

Highly recommend this with your kiddos! My 3 year old had a blast and he was the smallest. They are very interactive with the kids and make funny jokes with the adults. They also have a bar for adults and kid friendly drinks & snacks. A do think it could be more affordable especially for bigger families but over all a great time.

We frequent St. Augustine for vacation destinations at least once a year. This was our first time going on the Pirate adventure. By far, this has become my favorite adventure that we have partaken in while in St. Augustine. We did the treasure event for the kiddos. This trip was about an hour and a half and both kids and adults alike were entertained the entire time. The jokes only adults would get were fantastic while the jokes and songs for the kids were equally entertaining. The kiddos get to learn to fight and sing like a pirate and hopefully save their treasure to get their cut of that treasure. There is a full bar on board for the adult pirate trainees that need some rum as well! I highly recommend this event. We were fortunate that it was mid week and not completely packed so roaming the ship was easy to do. We will do this adventure again plus add in the adult and firework adventures as well. If you skip this, you have truly missed out!

What fun! Great deal! The company runs TWO boats out there with all the "crew", for the swashbuckling battle. Great inside jokes for adults to understand (you gotta pay attention!), and the crew was enthusiastic and friendly. The kids, 6 and 3 1/2, both loved it, as did the other kids on the boat. Majority of crew was mic'd up, which was great, would be good if the "bad boat" crew was mic'd up too.
