Just a beautiful, multi-level dining experience!! The facility is gorgeous, the food delicious and the staff very friendly, sharply dressed and just amazing!! Such a fun experience here! Hard to believe it can run so smoothly despite being so large. It feels small and personable despite being large because of the many smaller rooms on the various levels. Best Sangria I have EVER had. Love this place!!

As always, an outstanding dining experience at the Columbia Restaurant. Best authentic Spanish selections. The 1905 Salad is excellent. The wait staff is equally impressive. A wonderful atmosphere for lunch or dinner with friends and family, including a gift shop filled with ceramic collectables.

This one very easily shot to the top of my best restaurants list. You will see why as soon as you step in.

This place is nothing short of magnificent!! It has beautiful & colorful Spanish tiles, sculptures, photos, strained glass ...

The menu is extensive and delicious. Looking forward to going again already!!

We made our reservation in advance because they are always really busy. Our service was pretty slow, it took about 20mins to get water, but food was incredible, atmosphere was 10/10.

I’m Venezuelan, so food was very special, it was better than expected. Best bread I ever had in America.

We will definitely come back soon for dinner.

We celebrated here after a wedding with dinner upstairs on the 3rd floor. It was so intimate and just perfect.

This salad was the absolute best I've ever had. I went home and made it 2 days later.

I also enjoyed a mojito while there.

Highly recommend!

This was my second time coming here. It was very special. I noted that it was a birthday occasion on the reservation- something I've done many times before at other restaurants. No other restaurant ever acknowledged it. But today, both our hostess and the server said happy birthday. Also received a birthday flan! I love the 1905 salad. I also really enjoyed the bean and sausage soup. The warm bread. The sangria (I love the white one but I know many people like the red, too). Atmosphere is great.

It was a beautiful restaurant worth the wait. We waited about an hr, but really wanted to see what they hype was all about. Well we truly weren’t disappointed . We had the sampler with calamari, croquettes, and fundido cheese. Everything was delicious! The famous salad and sandwich were good. My husband had the sautéed beef with yellow rice and he loved it. My daughter had the palomilla and it was another good choice. We were too stuffed to try dessert. Next time we go, i think we’ll do tapas and dessert. Our server was very nice and attentive.

We have heard so much about this legendary restaurant & it definitely lives up to its wonderful reputation. . We stayed in St Augustine during Christmas & had no reservations at Columbia. We & 2 others from our inn sat at the bar & received excellent service from Mike. He made us a pitcher of delicious white sangria. He recommended the chopped salad, which was sooooo good. The shrimp with yellow rice, peas was excellent. My husband liked his roast pork and our lunch companion liked her ropa viejo. The restaurant looked beautifully decorated for the holidays and we fully understand why it is so popular. We will be back the next time we are in town!

We had the Columbia 1905 salad and the turkey 1905 Columbia salad. They serve you a large piece of fresh bread for free. It was delicious! We also split a cuban sandwich. The atmosphere, and the service were the best part. Or Columbia salads were delicious but the Cuban was dry and hard to chew. I would go back for the atmosphere, bread & salad. I would suggest to make a reservation.

We got the cuban sandwich and the house salad. The fact that we got both were prefect. Sharing half the salad and half the sandwich made a great pairing and was very tasty. The salad is a simple chef's salad but their homemade dressing takes it to a new level. They serve fresh bread as an appetizer and they make a nice cuban style loaf.

We love having lunch here. Went before the nights of lights this trip. RSVP is a must. The bread is amazing. The mojitos are also great. The kids mac n cheese is pretty basic kraft style. Otherwise the grouper & crab cakes keep me coming back

Amazing place to eat and visit! A must in saint Augustine! I recommend you make a reservation before if you don’t want to wait.
The waiter, Dawn, was very kind and helpful. The food was delicious, the salad 1905 is very good, worth trying! The seafoods we ordered were very good, tasted very fresh

The Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine is a culinary gem. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warmth and immersed in the charm of its historic setting. The Spanish and Cuban flavors on the menu delighted my taste buds, and the sangria was a perfect complement. With attentive service and a lively atmosphere, the Columbia Restaurant is a must-visit for those seeking a delicious taste of Spain right in the heart of St. Augustine.

Love the Colombia Restaurant! I went last year (Nov 2022) and booked their banquet room for our rehearsal dinner before our wedding. Staff is friendly and amazing. Food is incredible. We Went there recently (Nov 2023)with my husband for our anniversary for dinner. And it was great experience. Love that they make salad table size. Portions are large. Recommend sharing the paella. Highly recommend!!

Everything about this place is top-notch. Great food, excellent service and unique atmosphere and history. We highly recommend the The Original Cuban Sandwich, with Columbia's Original "1905" Salad®, and don't forget the Sangria de Cava.

The food was fantastic! The bread they serve when you arrive is very good. I had the 1905 side salad and my wife had the black bean soup. Both very very good. We did the tapas with the stuffed piquillo peppers, the Ybor City deviled crab croquettes and the scallops “casimiro”. All were excellent and with the salad and soup with was enough for two people. We finished with the expresso flan special. The service was a little off at the beginning but ended well.

We came to the Columbia Restaurant on Thanksgiving day for dinner and had a wonderful time! It was very busy, but our waiter, Sean, was attentive and kind. He didn't miss a beat despite the holiday rush. Our food didn't miss a beat, either. I can't get enough of the black bean cake appetizer, and Sean's recommendation of the Chicken Manchego was delicious! It may have been a bit noisy, but it just felt like we were all part of a huge family spending Thanksgiving together.

We were finally able to try Columbia so we had to have their infamous salad, which was delicious! We also shared the Cuban, which my husband placed it the top 5 best he’s had! Their black beans and rice were phenomenal! We will go back!

We started with red sangria made table side, it was delicious. Had a side of the 1905 salad, again made table side, the dressing was delicious.
My friend had the Mahi plate, said the fish was a little dry, but everything else on the plate was good. I shared the Cannelloni de Langostina. It was a heavy cream dish but we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Finished the meal sharing the warm bread pudding three ways. It was a large serving but utterly delicious!
Overall, we were very happy.
Bill for three of us was $133.00.
