In St Augustine visiting the city with friends. A small walkway with lots of stores selling everything from food and jewelry to T-shirts and antiques. Then the smell hit the four of us! Popcorn! Wonderful aroma beckons us. Now I have always loved popcorn. When we go to a movie I either skip lunch or dinner and have two (2) buckets of popcorn!

We walked inside and stood astonished at a huge wall of giant popcorn containers. So many choices! The staff must have chuckled at our open mouths. We were welcomed and offered samples of different flavors. We tried a lot of them and I could have stayed there but have tours to take. Our friends bought three small bags to take back to our resort at Daytona Beach.

My wife and I bought four medium bags. Hot Chocolate and Smores for her. I settled on Bacon Cheeseburger and Habenero (which had a nice fiery bite). Needless to say, we shared our bags but undoubtedly the majority went to my mouth. Good thing this shop is several hours from home else I would have to work my way through a hundred flavors!

My highest recommendation. If you enjoy popcorn, this is a must visit! Staff was very friendly and the owner even came out to meet us. Hmmm, I wonder if they franchise??? We will definitely be back!

I visited Kernel Poppers during my visit to St. Augustine. They have so many flavors. I was amazed. Each person gets to taste 2 flavors so if you have more friends, the merrier.

We tasted 12 flavors in total. In the end we bought 6 bags of small (2 flavors in 1). The staff is friendly. Unfortunately they only have this one store and this is not a franchise.

I will recommend the hamurger flavor and the chicken parmesan one.

Also on a side note, kudos to the guy on the main door gave us so many free samples of caramel popcorn. 😋

We came across the popcorn lovers gem in the heart of St. Augustine while visiting my parents. We bought the 3 meduim bag special with 3 flavors in each bag. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with samples and purchasing. We had the greatest popcorn experience. They ship popcorn too.. cant wait to place more orders.

I visited this shop from this past Sunday and it was awesome! I got to sample some flavors of their popcorn, though a bit strong than the ones such as Giggles Popcorn in Ocala. Overall, it was an awesome experience, the staff was especially kind and welcoming to me. I will definitely stop here the next time I visit St. Augustine.

I will say this before I entered Kernal Poppers in Saint Augustine Florida for the first time ever. I was thinking ok this is going to be like any other gourmet popcorn shop. Oh my gracious was I very wrong I was like a kid in a candy story my enter child came out there were so many different flavors to choose from…I ended up getting Chicago mix which I loved so much., Pina Colada taste just like a real colada. I had to eat it in spurts because how rich it is. As for the Buffalo wings, dill pickle and white cheddar was placed all in the same bag and I will say that mash up was great. I definitely will be trying other flavors even if I have to have them shipped to me in Texas!

this is the best popcorn shop I’ve tried! we always get some when we are up in st Augustine. Always fresh and have the best flavors. 10/10 recommend ! Worth the stop to get some.

Possibly the best popcorn I have ever had. Went in here just to sight see. Ended trying a few samples which then lead to me buying three bags to take home. My favorite was the habanero flavor. It is very tasty and has a good kick to it.

Such an awesome and cute popcorn place!! They have dozens of flavors! Everyone that we got was very tasty!!! Highly recommend for a quick little snack!

The workers were fun and engaging, we walked into the store not planning on buying any popcorn but the experience was so fun we left with three bags. Never caught the name, but it seemed like the manager was so kind and helpful, totally worth the visit just off the experience alone.

I'm from Tampa Bay but every time I find myself in the St Augustine area I make sure to stop by. I always try a different selection of flavors and they never disappoint. This is a must have treat if you are visiting St Augustine.

Such a fun place to stop when at st George! We always stop here when in St. Augustine, my favorites are the dill pickle and raspberry. This time we got Chicago and Cinnabon, both are so yummy.

It's always a pleasure to visit this shop. Service is great, and the popcorn is truly one of a kind!!! Samples provided and kid friendly !!! I love this place !!! It's worth every penny !!!

Freakin' amazing! I heard about this place from word of mouth...OMG! We indulged in taste testing variety of flavors of popcorn. There is so much to choose from. The dill flavor is so delicious!!! However, I went with a spiced rum & maple flavor. The kiddos also enjoyed the sampling. There are different sizes to choose from and the employee was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the flavors and which flavors mix well together.

This is one of our favorite places to go to when we visit St. Augustine. We even had them do our wedding favors this past October. So many yummy flavors, and the service is amazing.
