Casa Maya STL

Loved that they could accommodate our party (7 total including 3 kids) that was very nice, and the server was patient and really good with the kids.

Food is really good. I highly suggest the Ranchero mixer or Jalisco. Delicious!

And of course, the Margarita I hear was pretty good

I very much liked the Guacamole,
The chef offered me free fried jalapeños and caramelized onions! I said sure and thought that was weird! Although I liked the gesture, but I was wrong! It was really good to eat as a side with my Fajita!

We got dinner here last Saturday night before a show next door at the Focal Point. It is an authentic Mexican joint, down to the chefs, servers and bartenders. The menu is extensive and you can have your choice of delicious Mexican treats. The salsa and chips are among the best I have had at a Mexican restaurant in St. Louis. The service was good and the food was excellent. I had the Seafood Ranchero and my wife had the Shrimp Taco Salad. Highly recommend!

SO good! The Casa Maya fajitas are hands down the best we’ve ever had! From the drinks to the food to the customer service - all wonderful. Family friendly & a great addition in Maplewood. Highly recommend!

Great portion sizes, great atmosphere, always amazing service! The food is incredible and the red sangria is a must try if you're in the mood!

Meant to review Casa Maya when it first opened and I finally got to try it, but completely spaced because I kept going back! Cannot express how much of a wonderful addition this is to Maplewood!

Tried Casa Maya for the first time while on a search for tacos. We were so pleasantly surprised. Got a warm welcome from server, and the place feels cozy and cheerful. The tacos didn't disappoint. They were fresh and tasty. I also ordered an enchilada to try one for taste. It was delicious! A dark red sauce full of flavor covered the enchilada, and the meat filling was seasoned very well.
We also had ordered cups of shrimp soup and we were brought the larger bowls served with rice, and avocado.
I am also a fan of their salsa and thin chips. The salsa was thick and full of flavor with just a bit of spice. The chips were hot and fresh.
We found our new go to Mexican restaurant!

Let me ask.... Is there anything about this place that's not outstanding? This was my
Fourth visit over lunch. Each wonderful. I have difficulty with overpriced food(and I love it)... except for the Maya. The seasoning was perfect, my shrimp was the best in town and the servers were patient(we had an unannounced party of 12) and our food was delivered to our table quickly and hot when it arrived.
My advice is for you to go to the Cafe Maya and go soon!

We used to live in San Antonio and this is the closest thing to the Mexican food we got down there. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in St. Louis! Super friendly staff and they always get your order right. Portion sizes are great too

Such a gem! Myself and my partner had lunch here today and the food was sooo good. I’m not one to write many reviews but this place was soo good, I just had to! We are from Texas so our expectations weren’t high. I will have to say one of my favorite foods to eat is a chicken quesadilla. The one I had here by far was the best I have ever had. I did wish that it was a bit bigger however probably due to the fact that is was so good! Both ladies who served us were great! Will surely be back time and time again while we are in STL!

This new addition to the list of local Maplewood restaurants has already become a favorite for both my girlfriend and I.

The staff are friendly and there's a very authentic and endearing family feel to the restaurant. The chips are lightly fried and perfectly crispy and the salsa itself is great. The food never takes too long to arrive and both the street tacos and fajitas are phenomenal.

The interior could use a little more decor but we usually sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of Sutton boulevard. We never feel forgotten about or lost when we're seated outside which is something that happens more than it should at many a restaurant.

I was amazed that I hadn't heard of this place before. Steak and Shrimp were perfect, thanks to the Facebook ad I found out about this place.

My family came to Casa Maya tonight for dinner on the patio, and we had a blast. The patio is great! It’s large and can accommodate large and small parties. There’s also a really cool painted boat that the kids loved to look at. The menu was extensive, including a great kids menu, and the service was GREAT! The food was fast to arrive. I really enjoyed the street tacos, my husband had the enchiladas mexicanas and we had a 2 for 1 margarita special. I highly recommend it. Very family friendly!

Great place to go! Food was wonderful and the staff bent over backwards to make sure it was right and that we were all satisfied and happy! Looking forward to being there again soon.

One of our friends recommended this place while we were in town. Really kind people, and a great value of margaritas, bogo for $15 during happy hour. Food was delicious. New ownership trying to get things right and doing an amazing job at it. Definitely stop by and support local.

I’m from California and have not been able to find a an equivalent Mexican experience in St Louis until Casa Maya. It’s the closest I’ve found to Californian Mexican food while still keeping true to their STL roots. If you try anything here you have to get the fajitas, but honestly you can’t go wrong. It’s my favorite place with good portions and great prices.

Casa Maya serves up your typical menu of Tex-Mex/American Mexican dishes. While I prefer authentic Mexican myself, everything that came from the kitchen was absolutely delicious. Food came out fast, everything was very fresh/hot, and the prices were very reasonable considering the portions! The staff were also particularly kind and attentive. Happy to have them in the neighborhood and will be going back soon! *P.S. If you can't decide what to get, the enchiladas mexicanos are a great place to start, since you get 3 different sauces and 3 different fillings*

Had lunch here. Nice and bright space. Excellent attention from our server. Ordered the Ranchero Jalisco. Yummy. I have had this at several other places. But this was the absolute best. Guacamole, salsa and chips were also very good.

Wonderful food, especially the fajitas! My husband and I loved our meal! Great service in a warm, casual atmosphere.
