MoKaBe's Coffeehouse

This is one of the coffee shops that's close to Tower Grove Park. I've only been here once, and I ordered a delicious coffee. Their gooey butter cake was divine! The vibe is chill, and it's like a community staple around the area. I highly recommend this coffee shop! Worth your visit :)

Love it! Food, coffee and even the people are great. Staff is usually welcoming. The French dip sandwich is my go-to. Just discovered they have brunch on weekend. Great price for what you get! Very inclusive menu and buffet options. The tip jar choice thing always gets a chuckle out of me. One of those free things that goes a long way and gives the place a more personable and like able feel. Great place to study too. Patio and people watching are great on a summer day. but the smoking can really add up if you’re not a smoker. It gives me a headache so I can’t stay outside too long some days but there’s more seating inside. Of course the location great and the park is a lovely backdrop.

Really enjoyed the coffee there! The inside is very cool, definitely a hipster vibe with a bunch of cool stickers behind the counter (some of them are kind of edgy so beware, a few of them did make me uncomfortable). I liked how the coffee making station looks. Service was very speedy and the staff is so nice. My friend and I just got coffee, but the food looks spectacular.

I couldn't tell you what is the best part of this place. Food is great, coffee is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy as heck. And the people running the place are so sweet and lovely.

Great little urban hip South Grand coffee shop and cafe. Nice array of sandwiches (including vegetarian and vegan) and breakfast offerings. Counter order and find a seat at the bar, two inside areas, an upstairs area or the fantastic patio facing Arsenal / Grand. SUPER breakfast options. The best part of MoKaBe's is the free spirit, earth friendly, peace-to-all aura. Go feel at home, be one with your sandwich.

Parking can be scarce. Food has always been good. I wish they had various rotating flavored coffees like some other nearby coffee shops. Good options for those with different dietary preferences. Good for groups.

I usually just get coffee here, and the lattes are SO GOOD - like so good I try to recreate them at my own house haha. Love the mini mo and the jamie heart. Great service with friendly staff, and overall just really good, inclusive vibes. 10/10

I like this spot. It tends to be an LGBT hangout spot. This Sapphic very much appreciates the accepting environment. I love Mockabe’s for how vegan friendly they are. Not only with their drinks but with their food too. They have a variety of non dairy milks to choose from when ordering a latte or chai. They have a nice selection of vegan friendly food too. I like to alternate between their options. Their staff is always friendly and helpful too. ❤

This family-owned spot is not only a safe space for everyone, but they also have the best coffee in town. If you come in more than twice with the same order, they'll remember you. The staff goes out of their way to make a relationship with their customers, and the cook crushes it every time. Their prices are reasonable, and my only complaint is that they aren't open 24/7 - because I would go at 3 in the morning if it meant I could munch on a delicious vegan brownie. Which brings me to the next point - they have plenty of vegan options for drink AND food. Breakfast or lunch - they have you covered. Also, their proximity to Tower Grove Park makes it easy to turn a MoKaBe's trip into an afternoon walking around the park with your favorite seasonal drink. I love the people, the food, and the atmosphere. 10/10 - I visit multiple times a week.

Very local spot. We came after the farmers market at tower grove park. The patio was full of people enjoying coffee and lunch. We loved this spot, the patio is right across from he park and has a great view.

Had a great breakfast there. Breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious. Super friends service. A++

Imagine walking into a coffee shop and feeling like you've stepped into a coffee shop. That's the experience you get. Then, Imagine giving the barista your name for the order as "Baron Von Lollipop" and having it actually written on your receipt! Then you order a drink called London Fog and that first sip brings joy to your mouth in exactly the same way that actual London fog does not. When you step out, it's like stepping out of a coffee shop, and onto a sidewalk. So refreshing.

First Service was amazing...
Second, they had my favorite coffee, Hollander Grog😍
I ordered the KEYSTONE with oat milk and added Carmel... It was phenomenal.
I also ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich with LTP and it did not disappoint.

So many options to choose from, I wanted to try it all.

I ordered a latte and breakfast burrito to go. The person taking my order confirmed my choice of meat to ensure dietary restrictions. I don’t have any however it was appreciated.

One of my favoritest coffee shops in the city!! Not only are they ethically fantastic, but they have lots of vegan options for food and coffee. Their specialty coffees are amazing! Try the spicy mocha if you're adventurous 😏

A coffee shop with a personality and a voice. MokaBe’s is located across from Tower Grove park on Grand. This coffeehouse serves a variety of both hot and cold specialty coffee drinks. There is also a wide variety of food items from breakfast to lunch with vegetarian and plant based options as well. There is plenty of seating if you want to just enjoy a coffee and catch up or you can head upstairs and plug in your laptop to get some studying or work done. When the weather is nice there is also great outdoor seating on the patio. Be sure to check out the tip jars!

We weren't able to go inside, but the outside patio area was plenty and it was very well planned and thought out! There was enough space between the tables and the tables themselves were separated using shields. The coffee was really good and store supports lots of great causes!
