Favazza's on the Hill

Ok I was in town by myself for business and wanted to get some Italian food on the famous Hill. Figured I would try Favazza’s. The building is cool looking from the outside with the very typical corner entrance. Inside the place is nice and cozy but big enough to handle a crowd. I was seating right away and service was quick but not rushed. There were several families also dining and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I ordered a salad and some spicy pasta dish which was great. Prices were reasonable and I enjoyed my meal. Definitely would come again.

It was our first time eating here. The restaurant is cozy and will fit any kind of occasion. They have a nice bar for anyone wanting to just be social but then there is a separate room for families to dine. It was visually appealing with a fireplace and intimate atmosphere. The staff was attentive and fast with the service. The food portions were generous and the price was great. My family and I left full and with takeout.

This was our first time eating here. It was a nice, romantic setting with fresh flowers on each table. They brought out this incredibly soft and delicious bread that we loved. We ordered toasted raviolis for an appetizer that were amazing. My husband had baked mostacolli with meatballs and I had manicotti. Both of us loved our food and ended up taking some home. They even boxed and wrapped it us for us. Everything is extremely reasonably priced as well. We’ll definitely be back!

The cod was the best I've had in a long time. My wife's chicken Marsala was excellent. The bread service included toasted garlic Italian bread which was to die for.

Our daughter and son-in-law joined us here for lunch yesterday. The food and service were great. I had the veal parmesan which was very goo. Two of us had lasagna which was equally good. Our waiter was funny and very efficient.
Afterward we walked down the hill to see businesses, the church, Italian grocery store, soap making, etc. it was a nice afternoon in Little Italy on the Hill.

Everything was great, especially the service. Accommodated our large group reservation (sixteen on a Saturday night) with no issues. Ordered a variety of entrees: toasted ravioli, stuffed mushrooms, calamari, baked mostaccioli, manicotti, eggplant parmesan, and more. Specials ordered included scallops and steak. All said their meals were excellent. Can't stress enough how great the service was for this size group.

My family and I had a fantastic experience! We were sat on the patio. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and helped the table with making sure the people who had allergies were accommodated for! She was very attentive and just had great energy all around.
The bread for the table was great! Very garlicky and fresh, the dinner salads were fresh and the food came out maybe 30 minutes after we ordered, even with a Friday night rush.
The table ordered the ravioli and scallops along with the vegan pasta dish and we had no complaints. 10/10 I would recommend anyone come here for any occasion.

It was unseasonably chilly today, and we enjoyed our lunch on the patio. Our server, Lauren, was knowledgeable and attentive. The food, as always, was more than enough. Great value for a lunch menu. I mentioned that it was my birthday and we were presented with amaretto ice cream pie. So delicious!

You can’t go wrong with Italian on The Hill on The Hill in St. Louis and Favazza’s is a most stop spot. The atmosphere and the food are incredible. We had lunch and left saying how wonderful everything was. We will return.

Favazza’s has a great little vegan menu, salads and pasta dishes. Will definitely be going back.

While the bread & butter and pasta didn't quite impress me, the chicken special was truly exceptional and left me pleasantly surprised. The tiramisu was pure deliciousness, and the cannoli was also quite tasty. House salad is a must! Service was top tier.

A charming St Louis Hill Italian restaurant with a nice selection of dishes and plenty of seating for groups. The cannelloni was recommended and definitely delicious as I ate it all!

Service was really good. Food was as recommended by the waitress and her recommendation was good. I came to the hill area headed on recommendation and loved that I ate here. Their wine collection is good and chicken is so well cooked.

Really enjoyed this place. Food was fantastic, location was nice, the outdoor patio area is really neat. Star missing for service, didn’t get a side I ordered but they made up for it

Wow, wow, wow! I wish I had enough words to address how great this place is. The president of our college brought us dinner and reserved a spot for us here. Initially, I would have settled for something simple and fast as it was going to be a busy week and the drive over was longer than I planned. However, I am glad he chose this place.

The food was great. I ordered the lasagna and it was perfect. It was hot, cheesy, meaty, and filling. I was unfortunately unable to eat the last two bites. The bread was the absolute best and I have never had anything better. The ravioli was okay but still delicious. I do not drink but judging by the number of people who drank wine and discussed how wonderful it was I must suggest it must have be excellent.

Overall, this is a fantastic stop and I hope to visit this location again. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was excellent, and the customer service was spectacular. Thank for the hospitality!

First visit to this place! What a beautiful restaurant!!! We were brought on a long walk to a table through multiple inviting areas to a beautiful 4 season patio with a real wood stove. Every space was interesting to look at, clean and inviting and when we were finally sat, we all expressed that if the ambiance was even comparable to the food that we would be in for an excellent evening. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful in regards to our dietary restrictions. Everything was clean, arrived quickly, delicious... Very good service, flavorful food, generous servings, and just when we thought we were entirely satisfied we enjoyed the delicious desserts. The pistachio gelato and tiramisu finished off the night on the perfect note. They even boxed our leftovers. We will make extra effort to return to this excellent place anytime we pass through Saint Louis!

I had read reviews about Favazza's which was located across the street from my weekend accommodations. Reviews were so favorable that I had to give it a try. The customers were spot on!

I ordered a spicy shrimp and pasta dish to eat for lunch/dinner the following day. As I warmed up the meal the aroma talked to my senses. I can still taste the first bite. Delicious! And the bread was crispy with just the perfect amount of butter. I look forward to my return visit with family so that I can try another dish at Favazza's!

This was actually our first time at an authentic Italian restaurant and I must say it, we will definitely be back. For about the same price you’d pay at Olive Garden or Cheesecake factory I’d rather just come here. Wish I would’ve done it sooner.

We were greeted by the host and didn’t wait too long to be seated. (roughly 10 minutes) on a Saturday night.

The waiter was absolutely awesome he didn’t rush us unlike other establishments do. The food! The food such a huge portion for the right price! We had to take left overs home. My wife also has celiac disease, and I’ll tell you they had so much options on their gluten free menu so it was nice coming to an authentic restaurant and to know they had many options. ( she even said this was the best gluten free pasta she has ever had )

They even brought out a gluten free pie for her! We will definitely be coming back more often. The ambiance was amazing, beautiful old style Italian theme felt like I was in little
Italy.
