Great customer service here. Eli found out we liked Hofbrau and special ordered it for us. Best of all, he would just see us and tell us about his ability to order some from his distributor. Not always available, but he really does his best to get it for us. Have witnessed similar interactions with other customers. Not your anonymous liquor store, but a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Great selection but if he doesn’t have it, he might be able to get it for you! Very knowledgeable, too. Never had a bad experience from the other staff, either. All in all, the best place to shop.

Canyon Lake Liquor has been a staple in Rapid City for many years and for many reasons. They have an incredible selection of fine wines and spirits for everyone and every occasion. Not only is it convenient with the drive through but the inside is clean, organized and if you're lucky, you can catch Eli for a true learning experience on the liquors he carries. Eli knows his liquors inside and out and is the go-to guy if you have any questions on what to pick. Best liquor store in town!

I love shopping at Canyon Lake Liquors because while they have all the basics you would expect from other stores, they also have a number of fun items you can't find anywhere else in Rapid City. If you want wine, you absolutely need to check out the selection here. There's always something new to try and the staff is incredibly helpful.

Excellent family-owned liquor store in West Rapid City. Probably the best wine selection in the city, with some of the best sale selections. Also, an excellent selection of spirits and beers, including many that are imported. I never fail to find something to bring home here!

Canyon Lake Liquors is the best liquor store in Rapid City, hands down. The selection is almost as good as Boyd's, and is actually better for obscure liqueurs needed for classic cocktails. The prices are generally better than other liquor stores in Rapid. Plus, if you spend $100 or more you get a 10% discount - at which point the prices are definitely the best in town.

This is the best liquor store in Rapid City. They have a huge selection of liquor. Everything from whiskey to gin to vodka. They have an immense selection of wine too. Finally, the beer selection is amazing. Beer from all over the country can be found here. A hidden gem!

This place is probably the best liquor store I have been to in the entire Midwest. I used to think Surdyk's in Minneapolis was awesome. However, this little place can surprise you with every turn. They had my favorite (VERY hard to find) Australian Moscoto, a wide variety of all kinds of hard liquor and liqueurs. They even had Point Reyes blue cheese and dry salami from Catalonia. This place is truly a diamond in the rough. Cheap ice too!

Great place to buy good wine in what seems like an otherwise wine dead zone. Prices are high but where else in South Dakota are you going to find wine that doesn’t have a picture of a cartoon donkey on the front?

By far the most knowledgeable owners of a wine, spirits, and beer joint in the Black Hills. Perhaps in South Dakota! Yes, Andy is that good. Tell him what you are having for dinner, and he'll have wine suggestions for you instantly.

Nothing to dislike about this place!! Even has a drive up window and if they see your pooch in the car then they will give him/her a milkbone. I love this place as much as my dog does!

Small store, but good selection, interesting inventory and reasonable prices. The exterior makes it easy to overlook this place. Definitely worth a stop.
