GREAT EXPERIENCE !! Mitch was referred to us from a friend who had purchased a home in the Asheville area a couple years prior. He is the reason we purchased a home so quickly. He took the time to educate us on the area, to learn what was important to us, how we like to use the home, and the pros and cons of the homes we were reviewing online before visiting Asheville. He spent two full days showing us homes; taking in our feedback to makes suggestions which led us to purchasing a home after 4 days - a home that was not originally on our target list. Mitch held firm on our negotiations and got us to close without any issues. He has even been there post close providing information on vendors we will use going forward.

Editing this review because I have now sold a home with Mitch 5 years later. Our home was under contract within 48 hours and sold for over our asking price. Mitch is so easy to work with and it's such a pleasure! I can't recommend anyone more.

We first contacted Mitch Miller when we saw his name on a "for sale" sign on a piece of property we came across. I called him and left a message and shortly thereafter he returned my call. He explained that the property we were interested in had been sold, but there was an adjacent lot that the same owner was getting ready to put up for sale. We left the Asheville area and returned to our home in Maryland.

We kept an eye on properties going on the market and kept in touch with Mitch. We made a trip back in August and met with Mitch in person and he spent several days showing us properties. He was nothing but straightforward, patient and professional. His knowledge of the area and properties was top notch.

We ended up buying the lot he told us about in our first phone call, as well as the adjacent lot after Mitch negotiated a nice deal for us. We give our highest commendation to Mitch and Mountain Oak Properties.

Mitch is amazing at navigating you through the process of selling your home he gives recommendations of needed updates to help move the sell quickly and walks you though every step of the way. Not willing to do updates that is great as well. We chose to take his advice and our house went under contract in two weeks!!!! Thank Mitch we are grateful for you.

I was introduced to Mitch through a mutual friend, as I had planned on using another realtor. After meeting Mitch, and finding him to be a likeable, impressive young man, I decided to give him the listing for my home sale. I have to say that there were frustrating times-my home was in a unique location, and just getting someone to come and take a look was a challenge, but Mitch never gave up. He went above and beyond doing absolutely everything that could be done to get people in the house. Once we had an offer he handled it very impressively, giving me good advice all along the way. My wife and I worked with Mitch Miller over the last year to find a mountain parcel for a future home. Mitch spent a lot of time with us over several weekends, driving us all over Buncombe County and hiking with us on some very steep slopes. When our first choice fell through (due to title issues and through no fault of Mitch), he was able to find us what is an arguably better parcel located just across the valley from the original one.

Since we don't currently live in the area, during the pre-closing inspection period, Mitch helped us out greatly by meeting with various contractors and city/county officials to verify that we would be able to build what we wanted on that parcel. After the sale closed, Mitch contacted a neighboring property owner and helped us to buy an additional small portion of land that wasn't even on the market.
