First visit today with my husband and oldest son. What a fabulous area!
So beautiful and well maintained. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Really cool park and playground! My son loved playing here! The park has trails back in the woods, has a disc golf course, and has a smaller playground too for the little tykes. They also have fun musical features at the playground. My son loved trying to stand up and run on the spinner wheel they have there. LoL The playground also has ball fields and a bathroom building as well. Picnic tables to eat your lunch at. The playground is great! Three different slides!

The new surface on the tennis courts is really nice and much appreciated, and the new blue lines for the pickleball courts are very good as well.

2 pickleball courts shared with tennis. Big dog park, good frisbee golf course. Pond you can fish in.

Lots of fun puppers of all ages at the dog park, and their owners are all super nice. The place isn't mismanaged, either, no mud pits or empty poo bag dispensers.

The trails are really nice and serene, and it's never too crowded, just a few people along the way fishing, walking, or just reveling. And it has a great wooded disc golf course!

The rest of the park is nice looking, though I can't say I've made use of the rest in recent years.

There is an enclosed dog park here but there are also trails where you can walk your dog.

Nice disc golf course, tennis court surfaces are great but there are only 2 courts and no lights. Big park, nice place to walk or picnic.

Lots and lots to do at this park from the pond to the fenced dog park to the two playgrounds (with shared swings), to the picnic shelters and al fresco tables to the sand volleyball court and sports fields. The younger child playground is shaded at all times of the day, the older child one does get sunny around lunch time in the summer.

my favorite dog park in carrboro. almost always has a few dogs but never an overwhelming amount. in my experience most dog owners are very attentive to their dogs and the dogs are well behaved. it’s also super big. the only downside is that there’s many holes that turn into mud puddles after it rains.

Cute 1/2 mile trail around a human created pond. Also a great play park with swings and climbing structures for the kids! They have a fenced in dog park as well.

This is a park packed with facilities! Tennis/pickle ball, frisbee golf, large and small dog parks, playground, pond (can be fished), hiking trails, several baseball fields and basketball courts, restrooms, volleyball courts and soccer fields. Well maintained and well attended. Terrific spot for family recreation

Great place to walk during week days. Weekends pretty crowded. Big. Complex with wooded trails, a fenced dog park, tennis courts, fishing pond. Please do not litter here! Grounds are typically beautifully kept by people who use it. Do not throw your disposable gloves on the ground or your bagged dog waste. Use the free trash cans. Thankyou!

Love this park! My daughter has a ball making musical sounds on the drums and other "instruments" as well as the traditional playground equipment. There's a dog park and fishing pond as well as plenty of open area to picnic and play.

A great park! Lots of shade. Actually good play structures for the little kids. Great fields for group games. Seems like there was good parking too. The bathrooms were a little dirty, but overall nice for a public park. I'll go back again!

Great shaded park. Not fenced. About 25 ft from the road/parking lot. Shaded. Walking path around the pond. Dog park. Tennis courts. Baseball/softball fields. Bathrooms but a bit of a walk for newly-potty trained. Poison ivy seen in August.

This is an excellent park. It's pretty large and includes:
*3 baseball fields
*2 full size basketball courts,
*a football field that is also used for soccer
*a playground area
*volleyball court
*tennis court
*disc golf course
*dog park
*roofed grilling area with benches and grills
*bathrooms and water fountain
And more. Essentially, there's something for virtually everyone.

I love this park and pond. Throughout the day, the light changes with enchanting effects. I'm getting to know the fauna, as well as the flora.
And, as my grandpa (and before him, Henry David Thoreau,) said, "the woods are my church."

I love that this park has something for every age group. Two play areas side by side with swings in between for babies and toddler and for bigger kids. Also there is dog park, tennis courts, volley ball net. And lots of open grass to play whatever you want. Very nice place!!
