Palmetto Primary Care Physicians: Laurel Office

The office and staff has been nothing but amazing to my husband and I since we moved here. Dr. Ann Schulter was the one who did labs and exams on me when I got really sick back in August 2020. I found out I had some health issues that were confirmed and she has been wonderful when it comes to listening and helping me try to feel better.

I've been looking for a primary care office for a few years, and after a few visits here I am sure I've found it. Staff was great, they actually thoughtfully listened to concerns, asked amplifying info, and had good meaningful discussions. Then once tests/exam were completed they again fully went over everything and explained them. Genuinely care about the patient is what I'm trying to say

Our family of three have gone to the office several times now since moving into the area last August. While the doctors are competent, this location or facility is grungy and the front office has a horrible patient care: they are rude, slow, and at times appear incompetent, beyond that they always blame their computers/ servers for never being able to process payments, print receipts or general “run” an affective office. Their service is nothing to recommend and sadly now we have to look for a new family practice.

While the doctors may do a good job, each visit results in a one or two hour wait no matter how soon you book the appointment. Ridiculous service. No excuse for that.

This place is a joke, when I called them to straighten out a work comp injury for my business for an employee. The lady working the front desk is rude, and very unhelpful. She transferred me to a lady named Megan. Megan was also rude and very unhelpful. We asked her to send us a simple email with what she needed for our employee to be seen and it was like asking for world peace. We will never use you again for anything. Doctors and stakeholders, get these people gone!

I had an appointment at 8:30 am, and I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. By 9:15, they had not called me back and had not spoken to me at all. When I went to cancel my appointment, the receptionist offered to reschedule but didn't offer any explanation or apology for the length of time. I will not be returning.

Poor communication between doctor office and their scheduling at their diagnostic and imaging center. Two different times. Then when you ask to have your doctor (Anna) call you back they said it’s “against their practice.”

Dont even bother, lady who answered the phone was rude and cut off anything I had to say with we're not taking new patients even though I've been with PPC my entire life.
