Extra Space Storage

Mary helped us with establishing a rental unit during our transition back to Summerville. We utilized this same location in 2015 b/c of the cleanliness and temp control. Mary made sure our unit was ready and assisted us with setup. Thanks Mary and Extra Space for the exceptional service!!

I needed a smaller unit and Mary was absolutely awesome! She found me a unit that was similarly located at half the size and half the price! I love that I can get in and work when I need to and pay automatically to keep it going without worry... highly recommend!

This location is easily accessible, clean, safe and reasonably priced. The management is friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to rent from.

The place is very clean and they have convenient carts available to use to easily move your stuff in or out. I couldn’t ask for better customer service. Mary is top notch!!!

This facility are in a good location, the building are super clean and you will see Monica around cleaning and doing some maintenance in the units while you are there.
It always nice when you deal with friendly employees, I went to a few different storages and mostly of the time they were rude and don’t even try to be nice.

My partner rented a storage unit from this facility and he had an untimely death. The unit went into pre auction and I wasn’t sure of what to do. Mary guided me through the necessary process to have the unit removed from pre auction in a timely fashion and worked with me on the overall balance that was due. It’s been a long while since I’ve had someone take this kind of time to help assist in a matter that didn’t directly affect them. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of storage rental.

I came in because my space rental was so high; much greater than the street v value of $146/month. I received outstanding, courteous service and watched while communication was made with corporate to lower my rental to the market rate.

I was given incorrect information by another employee there and could’ve been charged another full month’s rent, but thankfully Mary’s knowledge and skill corrected the error and showed grace where she didn’t have to. Couldn’t be more thankful of this experience and in the future if I need storage space, I’ll definitely be looking towards Extra Space Storage!

Excellent experience! Manager was 15 minutes from closing and never made me feel like I wasn't getting top rate service or being rushed so she could exit for the day. Even walked me to the unit and showed me the best way to enter and exit for my storage area.

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Location is very convenient. Facility is clean and rates are fair. I feel comfortable knowing that my items are stored here.

Angie at the Dorchester road location was great! Took me on a tour and explained the pricing and different sizes. All the paperwork was clear and concise. I would recommend Extra Space to all my friends! Update: this was my previous review, I would also like to add that I have been dealing with Angie for almost 2 years, and still enjoy our time together and how helpful she is whenever I need help with storage.
Update: had a great experience with Mary today January 2024. She took the time to explain how my bill would change and the whole process went so smoothly! Thanks again Mary!
