Cottonwood Creek Church

My family and I have been attending Cottonwood Creek for almost a year now. This congregation of people are very friendly, know Jesus personally and love on each other with so much of their soul. There is truly a group for any age to join and you can make this large church feel like a small family very quickly after joining a life group or Bible study. Our children also love the kids ministry and there is something going on all week for middle/high school and even college age adults. After a lot of searching, we have truly found the best fit for us. We feel very blessed to be here.

The people of this church care about every soul. I came to the Celebrate Recovery ministry in this church just over two years ago in crisis and ready to end my life. I found loving people that cast no judgement or shame on me but cared and shared with me their own struggles. I connected with them and began my recovery process with the help of counseling and doctors in which I learned I had severe depression caused by PTSD from childhood trauma over 4 decades ago. My connections at this church with other men with similar issues carried me through the difficult process. Today I now serve God at the church and help men with similar issues which gives purpose to my life and defeats feelings of anxiety and depression. The people of this church care deeply about everyone, and I love this church!

I love this church! I can honestly say that some of the people here, I consider them some of my sweetest friends!

Yes it's a big church, but this is Texas Folks! I got to know people by joining a Life Group. I've made lifelong friends that feel like family to me. And these friends of mine, we have been there for each other during hard times and celebration times. I am so blessed to have found this place and these people!

If you are looking for a place to fit in, to find real peace, to find that thing you are missing that you can't quite explain... Then I highly recommend Cottonwood Creek Church. And you will learn about the most wonderful man, Jesus. And I truly believe you will be set free, feel the presence of God and maybe even become a part of something bigger than yourself.

We've been to a lot of churches over the years in this area, and some of them have been quite entertaining. They tend to focus on "self-help" with a few excerpts from various parts of the Bible. While that can be uplifting, the feeling is generally short term/fleeting. The thing is after years of attending regularly, I never obtained a great understanding of the Bible from these churches.

Cottonwood is a great church especially if you want to learn the Bible. The pastors are truly great at biblical teaching. I've always found the Bible difficult to understand at times, but Pastor Graham and Pastor Mark possess a great gift to teach and explain in a way that really simplifies things and holds your attention.

Again, great church, and I highly recommend it! In a few short weeks, I've already learned more than the past 6 years of going to our former church.

I attended a men’s conference and was warmly welcomed by so many folks, and encouraged by faithful preaching. Grateful for the work God is doing through this church.

My wife and I have visited Cottonwood for the past 3 weeks, and we have really enjoyed every visit! The facility is excellent. The music is contemporary and performed very well. The atmosphere of the church is more casual, where it is not uncommon to see folks wearing jeans and polos. Pastor John Mark Caton preaches a compelling and informative message, and you will likely learn something about the scripture that you did not know before. Most importantly, we have found the people to be very welcoming and friendly. Cottonwood is definitely living its motto of "Love God and Love Others!".

My wife and i have been attending Cottonwood for about 3 years now. We have met our best friends at this church. We have, more importantly, had our lives changed here. We are proud to be a part of a church with a pastor who has the courage to stand for the Holy Bible and Jesus! Accepting Jesus as your Savior is the only way to have salvation and learning the Bible is the only way to know for yourself what God wants for you and your life.

This is a church that has a heart for the Lord & for people. Cottonwood Creek is always striving to find new ways to reach out to the community - from free events such as fall festival & VBS to putting in sand volleyball courts for the community's youth - it is evident that the church values people. It also doesn't compromise God's Word. I love this church and the leadership here!

I've been a visitor to the church but it is very friendly, family oriented church whose focus is sharing Jesus Christ with anyone entering its doors. Families with or without children, young adults, seniors...there is something for everyone. This church opens its arms to the whole community.

CCBC is a great church that loves and cares for people and offers hope through the many ministries. My family has been across the US with the work that I do and think highly of the work that is done there to encourage people. If you are tired of doing the same thing and expecting different results then come out this Sunday! You'll be glad you did.

Ina clear and concise way , applicable to daily life and struggles. I have found my church home!

I loved this place because it's a place that you can destress and create a relationship with the one and only Lord that made the Earth. I think it's so good because nobody just sits down and eats whatever not paying attention, the pastor, Pastor John Mark preaches in a loud voice, stern, but a loving voice.

Just came there today for Halloween event. Everything is perfect l, people are so nice! Thank y’all for preparing everything! Kids have a lots of fun!!!

Everyone was tremendously friendly and made us feel at home the moment we walked in the door. Such an uplifting experience. Large, upbeat youth program as well.

Amazing community, church, and people overall. I came here to attend Awana previously, and their execution and enthusiasm and commitment to God is extremely high.

Amazing church with truly caring staff and voulenteers. This is a place for everyone who wants to start a journey of finding hope and love in God.
