U-Haul Moving & Storage of Garland

I don’t know their names but there was a gentleman there working before store hours. I scheduled the pickup at 8am on Sunday before their business opening time of 9am.
I was a bit frazzled with the VERY cold weather, not dressed accordingly, new rental process, the lock not opening with the right combination, having mechanical car trouble before arriving and running late for our appointment to pickup Girl Scout cookies.
The young man was nice enough to stop what he was doing to help me.

And when we returned the vehicle, the young lady who I spoke with was very nice. Great service from both.

Very helpful staff, always very quick to get my storage bin down for me to work with. A staff member moved work equipment away from the storage area so my brother could park his big truck next to my bin. Richard the manager was very efficient about closing out my account on my last day. Convenient parking and an open office area made doing business very easy.

Please check communication between corporate and on-site staff. Several phone calls failed to be passed on to the employees at the business branch. The on-site employees were still able to rescue the situation without complaint, impressing me with their professional attitude.

The ladies who schedule vehicles for customers were extremely kind and flexible toward me, even though we are in a period of heavy movement 👍

I didn’t get a confirmation call, so I was a little worried when I came in that morning. But the employee working was so genuine and sweet and made everything really simple. Would definitely use this location again.

The day before, I was able to extend the time to keep the truck easily and without additional charge. That was incredibly appreciated. The check in process when I returned the truck was so quick and easy. That was so nice so I could quickly get back to finishing our move. It was also so convenient to buy packing tape when I got the truck so I didn't have to go somewhere else to get that too.

Great, enthusiastic customer service!! Thank you for helping us park and unhook the auto transport after a long drive!! Recommend this location.

In the middle of a move right now, and have paid more than a few visits to this Uhaul location. Ive been helped by a different staff member each visit and every time I leave with a smile on my face. The most friendly and helpfull Uhaul staff Ive encountered, hands down. They always greet you with a pleasant manner the moment you come in the door. Super helpful, patiently answered all of my questions. Made sure I got the items I needed without trying to sell me anything I didnt need. Highly recomend.
PS: I see some bad reviews here, along side my good one. I'd say take them with a grain of salt. Some people just walk around in a haze of negativity. You get what you put out in the world folks.

I have been going to this U-Haul location in Garland for over 7 years and I've got to say for the majority of the time I've had nothing but a great experience with the employees and the service and products they sale. Sonny and Richard have been the best. No complaints here. I see a lot of negative comments about Richard and his attitude to the customers . . . .which are not true. It's not their fault if they have issues with the "Propane" refilling station. All I can say is "GREAT JOB RICHARD AND SONNY!"

U-haul on Walnut & Glenbrook has always been taken care of me when I needed a rental or propane.

Had some problems but Richard helped make it right. Thank you.

Ricky is completely on top of his game at this location. I used them twice to rent a car hauler and both times were flawless. He is a good manager and understands people very well. Reads the customer clearly and knows how to juggle many things at one time. Of course you have to be a good customer as well. If you are out of line it appears he could handle that too!!

Only place within 1 hour of Whitewright that had propane! They filled all our tanks and were very friendly!! It was 16* outside and we were VERY PLEASED!! ❄❄❄❤❤

I went to this location to rent a furniture dolly at the last minute during a move. Rick helped me out and got me a dolly. He was very helpful and polite. I definitely recommend working with this location!
