A delightful hobby shop that has made an impressive use of their space! One of the only places you can find Mr. Color products as well. There is an extensive collection of card games, board games, model kits, painting accessories, etc. A great selection for a local, family-owned shop!

I enjoy meeting Rudy and Danielle at model shows and always have a great selection of model kits and tools ⚒ not to mention reasonable prices! I also do business with them whether on their site or through EBay. It is always a pleasure doing business with them! So, if you’re ever in Kyle, Texas look them up! Tell them Dan sent you!

Welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable of products in the store. Danielle had great customer service. Small but complete with the most up-to-date icons, games, models, table tops, model rockets, scale electrics to name a few awesome items they have for sale. Store is clean and organized.

Awesome selection of kits, paint, tools, etc. Very organized making things easy to find. Great people (Rudy, Danielle). What a pleasure to shop there.

This place is the definition of a "mom and pop shop." They have so much stuff to pick from. Gundam, car, military model kits, paints for the kits, board games, card games, the whole nine yards. The staff is super friendly and down to earth, and very knowledgeable about the product they have in store. Safe to say, I like spending my money here.

Lion Heart is a awesome new hobby option in the area. The stock is all the items that are hard to find and just about everything you need.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and always ready to assist you with your questions or just listen to you talk about your project.

This is going to become one of my stops when I am in Kyle.

For all the small shops provide, Lion Heart has much heart. The owners and staff are knowledgeable, engaging, and in one instance, giving. I was given a tube of green plastic body filler putty, to test out on various models, and it works well, does not smell to high Heaven, and once dry, very close to the same as the former Squadron green putty in sanding and painting. Guys, invest in it, make sure your model-building customers know you're carrying it!
And congratulations on three years, we're looking forward to many, many more!

This is a great place to shop. They have many of the hard to find items that no one else has. I was building a clock and needed brass tubing. No one in the San Antonio area had it, but Lion Heart had multiple options to choose from. I have been back several times. They are all so friendly and willing to help.

The best hobby shop in Kyle! Constantly working to improve and better serve and connect the community. Whether you're on the hunt for models, minis, dice, board games, card games, or advice about any of the above, look no farther!

This is one of the greatest hobby stores I've ever had the chance to visit. Friendly, informative staff who remember my name when I come in, frequent restocks of paints and other essentials, and a diverse catalog of recent model kits to suit any interest.

My partner and I love this place! They have everything I need for my minis in-store so I don’t have to wait for shipping, and the owners are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I could spend hours in there!

Great store with a good selection of board games, and a TON of models and painting supplies. Modelers will easily be at home here.

If you are newer to board games some great and easy to pick up games from the shop would be...

1. Medium - Try to psychically connect with your partners
2. Decrypto - Try to decode the enemies spies message
3. Azul - A tile laying game where you fight over the best tiles

Edit: So, for the store's response to make sense I will point out that this review initially included a complaint about the way they had priced a product. I feel like the review was accurate and mostly positive, but for this one point. The store then reached out and didn't just offer me a refund, they agreed with me and refunded everyone who had ever purchased the product in question. This isn't customer service. This is so far above and beyond that I'm not sure what to call it. I'm humbled and amazed, and whole heartedly recommend them. I'm leaving the review, but cutting the comment about the pricing because it is not only out of date, it was probably something that should have been left to a private conversation in the first place.

Now for your regularly scheduled review:

First, let me say that this is an awesome store, with a great staff and probably the best selection of model/miniature painting products that I have ever seen. Hundreds of colors and products across numerous brands. Everything that I have thought that I might want, they have had.

They also have a truly excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful, and they are extremely active in the local hobby community. I hope that they continue to grow and build their community, and I think most people who are into what they offer are going to come away very happy.

Further, the search function on their website is absolutely the best. I've never ordered from it directly, but often search for stuff before going into the store, and it's always been able to accurately tell me if it's in stock. Even individual paint colors, which I've never seen and other store do.

Their tabletop gaming selection is a touch limited, but well-rounded, and if you're a painter or someone more into modeling, I suspect it's a bit of a paradise.

I'm still new to their little community, but I've never had a bad experience. It's a great store, and a truly amazing one if you take the reality of its location in a smaller town outside of the usual shopping areas into account.

It's clearly a business of passion by people who really care about the hobby, the area, and the local scene, and they deserve all of the success in the world.

It’s the store I’m sorry I didn’t find sooner, but am glad there won’t be another day that I miss out on them:) This store has been incredible, outfitting me and my friend group with everything we need to pursue our new hobbies. It’s given me so much to look forward to and THIS is my new game store:) Shoutout to Danielle and Rudy for being such amazingly sweet people!

More than just a hobby store, Lionheart has been building a community. There are events for modelling, painting miniatures, playing TCG's, board games, and RPG's. I've come to know many different people, of every age and background, through the Lionheart community and had the pleasure of enjoying activities with them.

Their mission statement, "Helping humans do joyful things", is genuinely felt and taken seriously.

If there's something this country needs more than anything, it's a sense of community. Lionheart is actively making this happen.

Danielle was so welcoming and helped us find a great game for our family. They have a large selection of games of varying levels. Their community events look fun too. I haven't gone to any yet, but I'm excited to check them out. So glad we found this place! I'll definitely be coming back to expand my board game collection.

Now with event space for things like MTG, painting minis, and board games! What a wonderful little shop. I can't recommend them enough!

This is a great place and they are cool people. No one ever gives me a hard time for being super indecisive or staring at the shelves for an oddly long amount of time. C'mon, it's all fantasy. Who deserves your buck more? Slay the dragon!

My wife and I LOVE Lionheart.

The owners & staff are so friendly and welcoming and they always have a large selection of TCG items, models, & supplies.

These folks were great to deal with, especially since I had never shopped with them before. They had TAMIYA Lacquer paints in bottles which is very hard to find. It is the ideal choice for small detail work after you have used the Tamiya Lacquer in the spray can for the larger areas. In closing, they have a great selection of products and provide great customer service which I have not found to be the case in dealing with larger distributors.
