Love Crystal A - she takes care of my 47 yr old head and also my 8 year old. Not sure who's more picky! She simply listens then executes. She understands short and long hair. Absolutely always a top notch cut!!

Lauren did my hair and my daughter's hair. She's such a nice person and she was very easy to talk to. I probably talked too much....lol. She did a great job with the cut/color we wanted! Her fees are very reasonable, too!! I will be back!!!

Love this place and have been frequenting it for years. It's that kinda place you can chat with your neighbor or just relax and let the stylist pamper you. Very professional and they know their stuff. The owner Greg, stays up to date with all of the up and coming styles and it's apparent the rest of the stylist do too! I also take my son there, it's a great place for men too! Give your money to support our local homegrown businesses!♡

Kasey is amazing!!! I will never go to another place since I found Urban Gypsy! They really treat you like family. I've had a coloring done, deep conditioning and most recently I've had to cut my hair (17 inches!!)due to an injury and Kasey took my ideas and made it perfect for my frame of face.

This place is awesome! A boutique within offering a bunch of really cute things. Because who doesn't want to shop and get their hair done all at once? :D Kasey was able to fit me within a day's notice. I’d made the mistake of box dying my own hair— which did not turn out how I wanted. My regular salon didn’t have availability, but this needed to be fixed that day. After calling around to a few locations I found this one and luckily they had the perfect window of time to get me in last minute to fix my hair.
They were the best!!! It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve been for my color correction but I get compliments on my hair color everywhere I go. They even sent me home with some shampoo and conditioner, a hair mask, and some shine serum- all of which have kept my hair so healthy and shiny (and they all smell amazing!) They went above and beyond for me and I have truly never felt this confident about myself after getting my hair done. I’ve made the decision to stick with this salon instead of my other one because of it— and you should too. Trust me.

Simply put: Superior EXCELLENCE! Greg took the time to listen and look at photos of how I wanted highlights to look (shoulder length hair). He suggested 'Balayage' then explained the difference from regular highlights. He is a master at his craft! Love Love LOVE my hair!! They truly work as a team at Urban Gypsy~ big shout out to Russell too!!

So I kind of stumbled upon this place after I had a very bad experience at another salon. These folks were quick to get me in and I really really appreciated that. Russell took great care of me and did an amazing job. I look forward to giving my business to the salon constantly.

Love this salon! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Tanya does an AMAZING job on my blonde color and cut. I have been going to her for years now and she does some of the best work on blondes in Austin! Highly recommend!

i LOVED my experience here! reema was fantastic and cut my hair even better than how i imagined. teensy bit on the pricey side but well worth it !
